મૂળી મંદિરમાં સદગુરુ બ્રહ્માનંદ સ્વામીએ ‘જહાં સુસંપ તહાં સંપત્તિ નાના’નો ઉપદેશ આપી પદ્માસન વાળી માળા ફેરવતાં અક્ષરધામ ગમન કર્યું; શ્રીહરિએ દિવ્ય દર્શન આપ્યાં.
સંવત ૧૮૮૮ના જેઠ સુદ દશમના પવિત્ર દિવસે મૂળી શિખરબદ્ધ મંદિરમાં શ્રીહરિના પરમસખા અને અષ્ટનંદ કવિશિરોમણિ સદગુરુ બ્રહ્માનંદ સ્વામીએ પોતાની ઐહિક લીલા સંકેલી અક્ષરધામ સિધાવવાની તૈયારી કરી.
અંતિમ ઘડીએ સભામાં બિરાજી સ્વામીએ સાધુ, બ્રહ્મચારી, પાર્ષદો અને હરિભક્તોને પરસ્પર સંપ અને સુહૃદભાવ રાખવાનો અમર ઉપદેશ આપતાં કહ્યું:
“જહાં સુસંપ તહાં સંપત્તિ નાના..! જહાં કુસંપ તહાં વિપત્તિ નિદાના..!! તમે સહુ સાધુ, બ્રહ્મચારી, પાર્ષદો અને હરિભક્ત ભાઈ-બહેનો પરસ્પર સંપ રાખી શ્રીજીમહારાજે રચેલી શિક્ષાપત્રી પ્રમાણે વર્તજો, ધર્મની બાંધેલી મર્યાદામાં રહેજો અને આચાર્ય મહારાજશ્રીની આજ્ઞા પાળજો. આ માનવ શરીર નાશવંત છે, આ મૃત્યુલોકમાં કોઈ અમર રહ્યું નથી અને રહેવાનું પણ નથી. જેમ અહીં આપણે સહુ ભેળા છીએ, તેમ જો આજ્ઞા અને ઉપાસના દ્રઢ પાળશો તો અક્ષરધામમાં પણ તમે સહુ અમારા ભેળા જ છો!”
આમ કહી સ્વામીએ સભાને નમસ્કાર કરી ધૂન કરવાની આજ્ઞા કરી. પોતે પદ્માસન વાળી, શ્રીજીમહારાજની દિવ્ય મૂર્તિ સમક્ષ અનિમિષ દૃષ્ટિ રાખી, જમણા હાથમાં માળા લઈ, કંઠસ્થાનમાં ‘સ્વામિનારાયણ’ મહામંત્રનો જાપ જપતાં પ્રભુના ધ્યાનમાં લીન થઈ ગયા.
તે જ ક્ષણે ઓરડામાં પરમ શીતળ અને શાંત દિવ્ય તેજ છવાઈ ગયું! મૂળી મંદિરના સુવર્ણ શિખરો ઉપર અંતરિક્ષમાં અનંત મુક્તોનાં દિવ્ય વિમાનો પથરાઈ ગયાં. સ્વામીશ્રી ઉપર આકાશમાંથી સુગંધિત ચંદન અને પુષ્પોની વૃષ્ટિ થઈ. સ્વામીએ બંને હાથ જોડી ઊંચા સ્વરે “જય શ્રી સ્વામિનારાયણ” કહ્યા, અને તે જ પળે સાક્ષાત પૂર્ણ પુરુષોત્તમ શ્રીજીમહારાજ અનંત મુક્તો સાથે સ્વામીશ્રીને તેડવા પધાર્યા! સમગ્ર સભાને આ દિવ્ય તેજોમય અલૌકિક દર્શન થયાં. પ્રભુ બ્રહ્માનંદ સ્વામીને દિવ્ય વિમાનમાં બેસાડી જયઘોષ સાથે અક્ષરધામમાં તેડી ગયા.
સ્વામી યજ્ઞપુરુષાનંદજીને લાંબા સમયથી સંકલ્પ હતો કે સદગુરુ બ્રહ્માનંદ સ્વામીના ધામગમન સમયે શ્રીજીમહારાજ તેડવા આવે તેવાં દર્શન થાય. તેઓ ત્રણ દિવસથી અખંડ માળા ફેરવતા હતા, તેમનો સંકલ્પ પણ શ્રીહરિએ આ દર્શન કરાવી પૂર્ણ કર્યો.
સ્વામીશ્રીના પવિત્ર દેહને સ્નાન કરાવી, ભગવાં વસ્ત્રો પહેરાવી, સ્વામીએ સ્વહસ્તે બાંધેલો મોટો રૂમાલ (પાઘ) મસ્તકે ધરાવી, પુષ્પહારો પહેરાવ્યા. સદગુરુ ગુણાતીતાનંદ સ્વામી તથા સદગુરુ દેવાનંદ સ્વામીએ આરતી ઉતારી. ઉત્સવ-કીર્તનો ગાતાં ગાતાં ભોગવતી નદીના પૂર્વ કાંઠે, મંદિરની ઉત્તર દિશામાં ચંદનકાષ્ઠ, સુખડ, તુલસી અને શ્રીફળ વડે દેહનો અગ્નિસંસ્કાર કરવામાં આવ્યો. ત્યારબાદ આચાર્યશ્રી સહિત સહુએ ભોગવતી નદીમાં સ્નાન કર્યું.
શ્રીહરિના પરમ સખા સદગુરુ બ્રહ્માનંદ સ્વામી જેઠ સુદ દશમે સ્વતંત્ર થકા અક્ષરધામમાં સિધાવ્યા.

मूळी मंदिर में सद्गुरु ब्रह्मानंद स्वामी का अक्षरधाम गमन, पारस्परिक एकता का अंतिम उपदेश और दिव्य दर्शन
संवत १८८८ ज्येष्ठ शुक्ल दशमी को मूळी मंदिर में श्रीहरि के अनन्य सखा सद्गुरु ब्रह्मानंद स्वामी ने अक्षरधाम गमन की तैयारी की।
अंतिम समय में उन्होंने उपस्थित साधु, ब्रह्मचारी व भक्तों को एकता का संदेश दिया: “जहाँ सुसंप तहाँ संपत्ति नाना, जहाँ कुसंप तहाँ विपत्ति निदाना! आप सभी शिक्षापत्री के नियमों में रहकर, धर्म की मर्यादा पालते हुए, आचार्य महाराज की आज्ञा में रहकर जीवन व्यतीत करें। यदि आज्ञा और उपासना दृढ़ रखेंगे, तो जैसे यहाँ एकत्र हैं, वैसे ही अक्षरधाम में भी हमारे साथ ही रहेंगे।”
तदुपरांत स्वामीजी ने पद्मासन लगाकर, हाथ में माला लेकर स्वामीनारायण महामंत्र का जप आरंभ किया। कक्ष में दिव्य शीतल प्रकाश छा गया और आकाश में अनगिनत विमान दिखाई देने लगे। पुष्पवृष्टि के बीच स्वामीजी ने “जय श्री स्वामीनारायण” का उच्चारण किया और साक्षात श्रीजीमहाराज अनंत मुक्तों सहित स्वामीजी को विमान में बिठाकर अक्षरधाम ले गए।
स्वामीजी के पार्थिव देह की आरती सद्गुरु गुणातीतानंद स्वामी और देवानंद स्वामी ने उतारी तथा भोगवती नदी के तट पर चंदन काष्ठ से अंतिम संस्कार किया गया।

Sadguru Brahmanand Swami’s Divine Ascension to Akshardham at Muli, His Final Sermon on Harmony, and Celestial Vision
On the sacred day of Jeth Sud Dasham in Samvat 1888, at the pinnacled shrine of Muli, Supreme Lord Shreehari’s intimate friend and poet-laureate, Sadguru Brahmanand Swami, prepared for his transcendental ascension to Akshardham.
Addressing the gathered assembly of sadhus, brahmacharis, attendants, and householders, Swami delivered his monumental parting sermon on fraternal harmony (samp): “Where there is harmony (susamp), there abides every prosperity; where there is discord (kusamp), there lies misfortune! Live in loving unity, abide strictly by the Shikshapatri, observe the sacred moral boundaries of Dharma, and obey the Acharya Maharaj. This physical frame is mortal. Just as we are gathered here today, if you remain steadfast in divine commandments and pure devotion, you shall eternally abide with Us in Akshardham!”
Saluting the assembly, Swami instructed everyone to chant the holy dhun. Sitting in the lotus posture (padmasana) with unblinking eyes fixed upon the divine murti of Shreeji Maharaj, holding his rosary in his right hand, Swami immersed himself in chanting the Swaminarayan Mahamantra.
Instantly, an intensely soothing, tranquil effulgence bathed the chamber! Celestial vimanas carrying infinite liberated souls gathered above the spires of Muli Mandir. A rain of fragrant sandalwood powder and heavenly blossoms showered upon Swami. Folding his hands, Swami uttered a resonant “Jai Shree Swaminarayan!” In that supreme instant, Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan visibly manifested with infinite muktas to personally escort Swami into His eternal abode! The entire assembly beheld this radiant vision in awe.
Swami Yagnapurushdasji, who had intensely prayed to witness how Maharaj welcomes His exalted devotees, had his innermost desire fulfilled. Swami’s sacred body was bathed, adorned in saffron garments and his handmade turban, and garlanded. Sadguru Gunatitanand Swami and Sadguru Devanand Swami performed the farewell aarti. Amidst devotional singing, his mortal remains were consecrated with sandalwood, tulsi wood, and coconuts on the northern bank of the Bhogavati River, followed by sacred ablutions by the Acharya Maharaj and the congregation.
