જેતલપુરના જોઇતારામે સ્વહસ્તે રસોઈ બનાવી શ્રીહરિને જમાડ્યા; પ્રભુએ એક મહિને કૂવો ધસી પડતાં અંતકાળે તેડવા આવવાનું વચન આપ્યું જે સો ટકા સાચું પડ્યું.
પરબ્રહ્મ શ્રીજીમહારાજ એક સમયે ગંગામાના પાવન નગર જેતલપુરમાં પોતાના પરમ પ્રેમી ભક્ત વિપ્ર જોઇતારામના ઘેર અચાનક પધાર્યા. પોતાના આંગણે સાક્ષાત્ પૂર્ણ પુરુષોત્તમ નારાયણને પધારેલા જોઈ જોઇતારામનો આનંદ હૈયે સમાતો નહોતો. તેમણે શ્રીહરિના ચરણોમાં સાષ્ટાંગ પ્રણામ કરી અતિ આગ્રહપૂર્વક વિનંતી કરી: “હે મહારાજ! આજે આપે અતિશય કૃપા કરીને મારે આંગણે પધરામણી કરી છે, તો હું પ્રેમપૂર્વક ઉત્તમ થાળ બનાવું, આપ દયા કરીને મારે ઘેર થાળ જમો!”
ભક્તનો નિષ્કપટ સ્નેહભાવ જાણી શ્રીહરિએ મલકાતાં કહ્યું: “જોઇતારામ! જો તું પોતાના હાથે જ પવિત્રતાથી રસોઈ બનાવે, તો જ અમે તારે ઘેર થાળ જમીશું!” જોઇતારામે હર્ષભેર કહ્યું: “ભલે મહારાજ!” તેમણે સ્નાન કરી સ્વહસ્તે શુદ્ધ ઘી-ગોળની રસોઈ બનાવી અને કમળના પતરાવળામાં સુંદર થાળ પીરસી શ્રીહરિને બાજોઠ પર પધરાવી સ્નેહથી જમાડ્યા.
જમીને ચળુ કરી મુખવાસ ગ્રહણ કર્યા બાદ શ્રીજીમહારાજ ઓસરીમાં ઢોલિયા પર બિરાજમાન થયા. જોઇતારામ હાથ જોડી સન્મુખ બેઠા, ત્યારે શ્રીહરિએ એક ગહન અને ગંભીર વાત ઉદ્ઘાટન કરતાં કહ્યું: “જોઇતારામ! આજે અમે તને એક અતિ અગત્યની વાત કહેવા આવ્યા છીએ, તે વાત તું તારા હૃદયમાં દ્રઢતાથી ધારણ કરજે. આજથી બરાબર એક મહિનો પૂરો થતાં તારો આ માનવદેહ પડવાનો છે! તું વાડીએ કૂવે સ્નાન કરવા જઈશ, ત્યારે અચાનક કૂવાની ભેખડ ધસી પડશે અને તારો દેહ શાંત થશે. પરંતુ તું લેશમાત્ર ભય રાખતો નહીં; એ વસમી વેળાએ અમે સ્વયં દિવ્ય વિમાનો સાથે તને તેડવા માટે પધારીશું! અંત સમયે તારી સાક્ષાત્ સહાય કરી તને અમારા પરમ અક્ષરધામમાં લઈ જઈશું. માટે તું સદાય આનંદમાં રહેજે અને આ વાત કોઈ પાકા હરિભક્ત સિવાય અન્ય કોઈને કહીશ નહીં!”
આ સાંભળી જોઇતારામ ગદગદ થઈ બોલ્યા: “હે પ્રભુ! આપની જેવી મરજી. પરંતુ આપ પધાર્યા છો તો મારી એક સગી બહેન આપના દર્શન કરવા ખૂબ ઝંખે છે; જો આપ ઘડીક રોકાઓ તો હું તેને બોલાવી લાવું!” જોઇતારામ દોડીને પોતાની બહેનને બોલાવવા ગયા. પરંતુ બહેનને લઈને જેવા ઘેર આવ્યા, ત્યાં તો શ્રીજીમહારાજ અંતર્ધ્યાન થઈ ચૂક્યા હતા! માત્ર પ્રભુ જમીને ઊભા થયેલા તે પતરાવળાની પ્રસાદી ત્યાં પડી હતી. પ્રભુના પ્રત્યક્ષ દર્શન ન થતાં બહેન અતિશય પસ્તાવો કરવા લાગી. ત્યારે જોઇતારામે આશ્વાસન આપતાં કહ્યું: “બહેન! શ્રીહરિ ખાસ મારા પર કૃપા કરવા પધાર્યા હતા, અને મને કહી ગયા છે કે આજથી એક મહિના પછી પ્રભુ મને પોતાના ધામમાં તેડી જવાના છે!”
શ્રીહરિના વચન મુજબ બરાબર એક મહિનો પૂરો થયો. તે દિવસે જોઇતારામ સીમમાં કૂવે સ્નાન કરવા ગયા. સ્નાન કરતી વખતે અચાનક કૂવાની જૂની ભેખડ ધસી પડી અને કાટમાળ નીચે જોઇતારામનો દેહ દબાઈ ગયો! પરંતુ તે જ ક્ષણે આકાશમાંથી અસંખ્ય દિવ્ય તેજોમય વિમાનો અને મુક્તોના સંઘ સાથે સાક્ષાત્ પૂર્ણ પુરુષોત્તમ શ્રીજીમહારાજ પ્રગટ થયા! આ અલૌકિક દિવ્ય દર્શન સીમમાં હાજર રહેલા અન્ય અનેક બ્રાહ્મણો અને ખેડૂતોને પણ પ્રત્યક્ષ થયાં! શ્રીહરિ જોઇતારામના દિવ્ય આત્માને રથમાં બેસાડી પોતાના પરમ અક્ષરધામમાં તેડી ગયા!
પોતાના ભક્તને આપેલું વચન સોળ આની સત્ય પાળી શ્રીહરિએ અંતકાળે અક્ષરધામ આપ્યું.

जेतलपुर में विप्र जोइताराम का थाल, कुआँ धंसने की श्रीहरि की भविष्यवाणी और अक्षरधाम गमन
जेतलपुर में विप्र जोइताराम ने अपने हाथों से रसोई बनाकर श्रीजीमहाराज को थाल जिमाया।
भोजनोपरांत श्रीहरि ने भविष्यवाणी की: “जोइताराम! आज से ठीक एक महीने बाद कुएँ की दीवार धंसने से तुम्हारी देह छूटेगी। उस विकट समय में हम स्वयं विमान लेकर तुम्हें अक्षरधाम ले जाने आएँगे, अतः निर्भय रहना!”
ठीक एक महीने बाद कुआँ धंसने पर जब जोइताराम का देहांत हुआ, तो श्रीजीमहाराज दिव्य विमानों सहित पधारे। यह दृश्य अन्य ग्रामीणों ने भी देखा और जोइताराम अक्षरधाम सिधारे।

Joitaram of Jetalpur: Serving the Hand-Cooked Thal, Shreehari’s Prophecy of the Well, and Final Liberation
In the sanctified town of Jetalpur—hallowed by the devotion of Gangama—Supreme Lord Shreeji Maharaj unexpectedly graced the home of His beloved devotee, Brahmin Joitaram. Overcome with boundless joy at beholding the Supreme Purushottam Narayan standing upon his threshold, Joitaram fell prostrate at the Lord’s feet and submitted an earnest prayer: “O Maharaj! Today You have showered immense grace by visiting my humble home; permit me to prepare a loving meal, and kindly dine at my dwelling!”
Perceiving the sincerity of his heart, Shreehari smiled: “Joitaram! Only if you prepare the entire meal with your own hands with pure devotion shall We accept the thal!” Joitaram joyously agreed. Bathing and observing sacred cleanliness, he personally cooked delicious dishes with pure ghee and jaggery, serving the meal upon fresh lotus leaf platters and seating Shreehari upon a low wooden pedestal. Maharaj feasted with great relish.
After rinsing His hands and partaking of spices, Shreehari rested upon a cot on the veranda. As Joitaram sat reverently before Him with folded hands, Shreeji Maharaj revealed a solemn, momentous prophecy: “Joitaram! Today We have come specifically to impart a critical truth; enshrine it firmly within your soul. Exactly one month from today, your mortal earthly existence shall conclude! While you are bathing at the farm well, the embankment will suddenly cave in upon you, extinguishing your physical breath. But harbor not the slightest fear! In that formidable final hour, We shall descend in person with celestial chariots to escort your soul! Assisting you at your departure, We shall take you directly to Our eternal abode of Akshardham! Remain ever joyful, and disclose this secret only to steadfast devotees of God!”
Overwhelmed with emotion, Joitaram replied: “O Lord! Your will be done. But as You have graced our home today, my sister deeply yearns for Your divine darshan; if You pause for a moment, I shall bring her!” Joitaram hurried to fetch his sister. However, when they returned, Shreeji Maharaj had vanished into thin air! Only the consecrated leaf platter from which the Lord had dined remained. Weeping in disappointment at missing the Lord’s physical presence, the sister was inconsolable. Joitaram comforted her: “Sister, grieve not; Shreehari came especially to bestow His grace upon me, revealing that in one month He shall return to take me to His eternal abode!”
Exactly one month elapsed following Shreehari’s prophetic words. On that appointed day, Joitaram went to the irrigation well in the fields to bathe. As he stepped near the wall, the ancient earthen embankment gave way with a thunderous roar, collapsing entirely over him! At that very instant, Supreme Lord Shreeji Maharaj descended from the heavens amidst radiant celestial chariots and an entourage of liberated muktas! This glorious divine spectacle was witnessed with physical eyes by several other Brahmin farmers toiling nearby! Shreehari seated Joitaram’s liberated soul in the divine chariot and escorted him triumphantly to the eternal abode of Akshardham!
Faithfully honoring His sacred promise, the Merciful Master granted supreme liberation to His faithful devotee.
