સદગુરુ નિત્યાનંદ સ્વામી બોટાદ પધાર્યા ત્યારે નગરશેઠ ભગા દોશીએ ૪૫ વર્ષની ઉંમર વટાવી ચૂકેલા પોતાના નિઃસંતાન ભાઈ ગીરધરભાઈ માટે પ્રાર્થના કરી. સ્વામીએ રાજી થઈને એકાંતિક પુત્ર જન્મવાનો આશીર્વાદ આપ્યો, જે ફળીભૂત થયો.
એક વખત સદગુરુ શ્રી નિત્યાનંદ સ્વામી સંતમંડળ સાથે બોટાદ મંદિરે પધાર્યા. મંદિરે આવીને સંતોએ ઉતારો કર્યો એટલે બોટાદના અગ્રણી નગરશેઠ ભગા દોશી, રામજી જાની વગેરે મુખ્ય હરિભક્તો દર્શને આવ્યા. સૌએ સદગુરુ નિત્યાનંદ સ્વામીને ભાવપૂર્વક વંદન કરીને સત્સંગ લાભ લીધો.
વાતચીત દરમિયાન નગરશેઠ ભગા દોશીએ કરજોડીને નિત્યાનંદ સ્વામી સમક્ષ અરજ કરી: “હે સ્વામી! મારા નાના ભાઈ ગીરધરભાઈની ઉંમર પિસ્તાલીસ વર્ષથી પણ વધારે થઈ ચૂકી છે અને એમને ત્યાં કોઈ સંતાન નથી. જો આપ જેવા સમર્થ સંતની કૃપા થાય અને આપ આશીર્વાદ આપો, તો એમને ત્યાં કુળદીપક પુત્ર રત્નની પ્રાપ્તિ થાય.”
સદગુરુ નિત્યાનંદ સ્વામી ગીરધરભાઈની નિષ્ઠા, સેવાની ભાવના અને સરળ સ્વભાવથી સુપેરે પરિચિત હતા. સ્વામીએ પ્રસન્ન વદને ગીરધરભાઈની પીઠ થાબડીને દિવ્ય આશીર્વાદ આપતા કહ્યું: “જાઓ ગીરધરભાઈ! શ્રીહરિની કૃપાથી તમારા ઘરે પુત્ર તરીકે એક પરમ એકાંતિક અને ઉત્તમ સત્સંગી ભક્તનો જન્મ થશે!”
ગીરધરભાઈ સદગુરુ નિત્યાનંદ સ્વામીનો આ અમૂલ્ય રાજીપો અને આશીર્વાદ મસ્તકે ચડાવીને અનહદ આનંદ સાથે ઘેર આવ્યા. સમય જતાં સદગુરુના વચનપ્રતાપે ગીરધરભાઈના ધર્મપત્નીએ એક તેજસ્વી પુત્રને જન્મ આપ્યો, જેમનું નામ ‘મણિલાલભાઈ’ રાખવામાં આવ્યું. મણિલાલભાઈ મોટા થઈને અત્યંત દ્રઢ, ધર્મપરાયણ અને સંપ્રદાયના એકનિષ્ઠ મુક્ત તરીકે પ્રસિદ્ધ થયા.

ગઢડા પ્રથમ પ્રકરણના ૫૮મા વચનામૃતમાં શ્રીજીમહારાજ સ્વયં فرمાવે છે કે: “અતિશય મોટા પુરુષનો જેના ઉપર રાજીપો થાય, તેના ગમે તેવા મલિન સંસ્કાર હોય તોપણ નાશ પામે; મોટા પુરુષનો રાજીપો થાય તો રાંક હોય તે રાજા થાય, અને ગમે તેવા ભૂંડા પ્રારબ્ધ હોય તોપણ રૂડા થાય, અને ગમે તેવા માથે વિઘ્ન આવનારા હોય તો તે પણ નાશ પામે!”
આમ, સદગુરુ નિત્યાનંદ સ્વામી જેવા મહાપુરુષના રાજીપાથી ગીરધરભાઈના પ્રારબ્ધ પલટાઈ ગયા અને ભક્તિભાવથી સંપન્ન પુત્રરત્નની પ્રાપ્તિ થઈ.

बोटाद में सद्गुरु नित्यानन्द स्वामी के आशीर्वाद से गिरधरभाई दोशी को पुत्र-प्राप्ति
एक समय सद्गुरु श्री नित्यानन्द स्वामी संत-मण्डल के साथ बोटाद मंदिर पधारे। मंदिर में संतों का विश्राम हुआ, तब नगर के प्रमुख नगरसेठ श्री भगा दोशी, रामजी जानी आदि मुख्य हरिभक्त दर्शनार्थ उपस्थित हुए। सभी ने सद्गुरु नित्यानन्द स्वामी के चरणों में सप्रेम वंदन कर सत्संग का दिव्य लाभ प्राप्त किया।
वार्तालाप के समय नगरसेठ भगा दोशी ने करबद्ध होकर स्वामीजी से प्रार्थना की: “हे स्वामी! मेरे अनुज गिरधरभाई की आयु पैंतालीस वर्ष से अधिक हो चुकी है, परंतु उनके घर कोई संतान नहीं है। यदि आप जैसे परम समर्थ संत की कृपा हो जाए और आप आशीर्वाद दें, तो उनके कुल में सुपुत्र की प्राप्ति हो सकती है।”
सद्गुरु नित्यानन्द स्वामी गिरधरभाई की निष्कपट सेवा, सरल स्वभाव और निष्ठा से भली-भाँति परिचित थे। स्वामीजी ने प्रसन्न होकर गिरधरभाई की पीठ थपथपाते हुए आशीर्वाद दिया: “जाओ गिरधरभाई! श्रीहरि की अनुकंपा से आपके घर पुत्र के रूप में एक परम एकांतिक और निष्ठावान सत्संगी भक्त का जन्म होगा!”
गिरधरभाई सद्गुरु नित्यानन्द स्वामी के इस दिव्य आशीर्वाद को शिरोधार्य कर असीम आनंद के साथ घर लौटे। समय बीतने पर संत के अमोध वचन के प्रभाव से उनके घर एक तेजस्वी पुत्र का जन्म हुआ, जिनका नाम ‘मणिलालभाई’ रखा गया। मणिलालभाई बड़े होकर अत्यंत दृढ़, नियम-धर्म के पालक और संप्रदाय के प्रतिष्ठित भक्त बने।

गढड़ा प्रथम प्रकरण के ५८वें वचनामृत में श्रीजी महाराज स्वयं स्पष्ट करते हैं: “अतिशय बड़े संत-सत्पुरुष की जिस पर प्रसन्नता हो जाए, उसके चाहे जितने मलिन संस्कार हों, वे भी नष्ट हो जाते हैं; बड़े पुरुष की प्रसन्नता से रंक भी राजा बन जाता है, और कैसा भी विपरीत प्रारब्ध हो तो भी श्रेष्ठ बन जाता है, और सिर पर आने वाले कैसे भी घोर विघ्न हों तो वे भी विनष्ट हो जाते हैं!”
इस प्रकार सद्गुरु नित्यानन्द स्वामी जैसे समर्थ संत के आशीर्वाद से गिरधरभाई का प्रारब्ध बदल गया और उन्हें सद्गुणी सुपुत्र की प्राप्ति हुई।

Sadguru Nityanand Swami’s Blessing to Girdharbhai Doshi of Botad: The Power of a Satpurush’s Grace
On one occasion, Sadguru Shri Nityanand Swami arrived at the Swaminarayan temple in Botad along with his assembly of sadhus. Upon their arrival, leading devotees of the town including Nagarsheth Bhaga Doshi, Ramji Jani, and others came to pay their respects. They offered humble prostrations before Sadguru Nityanand Swami and immersed themselves in spiritual discourses.
During the conversation, Nagarsheth Bhaga Doshi folded his hands and submitted a humble plea before Nityanand Swami: “O Swami! My younger brother, Girdharbhai, has surpassed forty-five years of age, yet he remains childless. If a spiritually powerful Satpurush like you casts your compassionate grace and bestows a blessing, a worthy son may be born to carry forward the family lineage.”
Sadguru Nityanand Swami was well aware of Girdharbhai’s humility, sincere service, and firm devotion. Pleased with their pure heart, Swami patted Girdharbhai on the back and blessed him, saying: “Go, Girdharbhai! By the grace of Shri Hari, an ekantik, steadfast devotee will take birth as your son!”
Girdharbhai accepted this sacred blessing from Sadguru Nityanand Swami with utmost reverence and returned home with an elated heart. In due course of time, through the unfailing power of the saint’s blessing, a radiant son was born to them, who was named ‘Manilalbhai’. As he grew up, Manilalbhai became renowned as a staunch, virtuous, and dedicated devotee of the Swaminarayan Sampradaya.

In the sacred Vachanamrut, Gadhada Section I-58, Bhagwan Swaminarayan Himself proclaims: “If an excessively great holy person (ati mota purush) becomes pleased with someone, even the most tainted past impressions (sanskaras) are eradicated; through the grace of such a great soul, a pauper becomes a king, the most unfavorable destiny (praradbha) turns favorable, and even impending calamities are completely averted!”
Thus, through the divine pleasure and blessing of Sadguru Nityanand Swami, Girdharbhai’s destiny was transformed, blessing his household with a spiritually luminous son.
