બોટાદમાં પુષ્પદોલોત્સવ પછી મોનજી પંડ્યાના પરમ સંત-અહોભાવથી શ્રીહરિ જમવા રોકાયા અને માર્ગમાં પ્રેમઘેલા બોઘા લૂહારે સાકરનો ગાંગડો મુખમાં ધરાવી પ્રભુને અતિશય રાજી કર્યા.
એક વખત શ્રીજીમહારાજ સંતો અને હરિભક્તોના મોટા સંઘ સાથે બોટાદમાં ભગાદોશીના ઘેર પધાર્યા. ત્યાં ખૂબ ધામધૂમથી પુષ્પદોલોત્સવ (ફૂલદોલ) ઉજવ્યો અને રંગ-ગુલાલ ઉડાડી સર્વે સંતો-ભક્તોને અપરંપાર દિવ્ય સુખ આપ્યું.
ઉત્સવ સંપન્ન થયા પછી શ્રીહરિએ સભામાં કહ્યું, “ભગા દોશી! હવે અમે આગળ પ્રસ્થાન કરીશું.” આ સાંભળી ગામના ભક્ત મોનજી પંડ્યાના મનમાં તીવ્ર સંકલ્પ થયો: ‘પ્રભુએ સંઘ સહિત ભગાદોશીના ઘેર ઉત્સવ કરીને અપાર કૃપા વરસાવી, પણ જો અમારા ઘેર પધારી સમગ્ર સંઘ જમે તો અમારું આંગણું પણ પાવન થાય! જો શ્રીહરિ કૃપા કરે તો આજે હું કોઈને જવા ન દઉં.’
અંતર્યામી શ્રીહરિએ મોનજી પંડ્યાનો આંતરિક મનોભાવ જાણી હસતાં હસતાં કહ્યું, “ગોર મહારાજ! સંઘને રોકવો છે એમ ને?” મોનજી પંડ્યાએ બે હાથ જોડી ગદ્ગદ કંઠે વિનંતી કરી, “હે મહારાજ! આ સંતો-હરિભક્તો તો આપનાં સાક્ષાત્ અંગ સમાન છે; એ સર્વે મુક્તોને જમાડવાનો મારો દ્રઢ સંકલ્પ છે.” મોનજી પંડ્યાનો સંતો પ્રત્યેનો અગાધ મહિમા જોઈ શ્રીહરિએ સભામાં તાળી વગાડીને સહુને કહ્યું, “જુઓ, આ મોનજીભગત જે સાચું સમજવાનું છે તે બરાબર સમજી ગયા છે! ભગવાનના ભક્તોની સેવાની તક અનંત જન્મોના પુણ્યે પ્રાપ્ત થાય છે.” એમ કહી પ્રભુ તેમના ઘેર જમવા રોકાવા સહમત થયા.
મોનજી પંડ્યા તો અત્યંત આનંદિત થઈ દોડતા ઘેર ગયા અને શ્રીહરિ તથા સંતો માટે ઉત્તમ થાળ-રસોઈ બનાવવામાં પરોવાયા. બપોર સુધીમાં સ્વાદિષ્ટ રસોઈ સિદ્ધ થતાં તેઓ શ્રીહરિને તેડવા આવ્યા. શ્રીજીમહારાજ સંતો સાથે બજારમાંથી પસાર થતા હતા ત્યારે માર્ગમાં ગામના લૂહાર બોઘાભગતનું ઘર આવ્યું. બોઘાભગતે પોતાની કોઢમાંથી શ્રીહરિને દૂરથી આવતા જોયા એટલે કામ પડતું મૂકી દોટ દીધી; ફળિયામાં ખાટલો ઢાળી સુંદર રજાઈ-તકિયો પાથરી દીધા અને બજારમાં આવી બે હાથ જોડી શ્રીહરિના માર્ગમાં ઊભા રહી ગયા.
શ્રીહરિ બોઘા લૂહારનો અનન્ય પ્રેમભાવ જાણી સીધા તેમના આંગણે પધાર્યા અને પલંગ પર બિરાજમાન થયા. બોઘાભગતે શીતળ જળપાન કરાવી પ્રભુના ચરણોમાં બેસી ગયા. થોડી વારે શ્રીહરિ ચાલવા ઊભા થયા અને બોલ્યા, “બોઘા! પધરામણી થઈ ગઈ ને?” ત્યારે બોઘા લૂહાર પ્રેમથી વિનંતી કરતાં બોલ્યા, “અરે મહારાજ! એમ કાઈ જવાય? હજુ તો કંકુનો ચાંદલો કરવા દો અને સાકરનો એક મોટો ગાંગડો આરોગો!” એમ કહી બોઘાભગતે શ્રીહરિના ગોરા મુખારવિંદ પર કંકુનો ચાંદલો કર્યો અને પોતાના હાથે સાકરનો ગાંગડો પ્રેમથી પ્રભુના મુખમાં પધરાવ્યો. શ્રીહરિ અતિશય રાજી થઈ સાકર ચાવતાં બોલ્યા, “બોઘા! આજ તો તારી આખી રસોઈ અમે જમી લીધી તેટલું માનજે!” આ સાંભળી બોઘાભગતની આંખોમાંથી પ્રેમાશ્રુ વહેવા લાગ્યાં અને તેઓ શ્રીહરિના ચરણકમળમાં દંડવત પ્રણામ કરવા લાગ્યા.

बोटाद में मोनजी पंड्या का संत-महिमा और बोघा लुहार की मिश्री से श्रीहरि की परम प्रसन्नता
एक बार श्रीजी महाराज संतों और हरिभक्तों के विशाल संघ के साथ बोटाद में भगा दोशी के घर पधारे। वहाँ अत्यंत धूमधाम से पुष्पदोलोत्सव (फूलडोल उत्सव) मनाया गया और रंग-गुलाल से सबको अलौकिक आनंद प्रदान किया।
उत्सव की समाप्ति पर श्रीहरि ने प्रस्थान की इच्छा प्रकट की। तब स्थानीय सत्संगी मोनजी पंड्या के मन में तीव्र संकल्प उठा: ‘प्रभु ने भगा दोशी के घर उत्सव मनाकर महान अनुग्रह किया; यदि वे पूरे संघ सहित मेरे घर भोजन पधारें तो मेरा आँगन भी धन्य हो जाए! आज मैं प्रभु को जाने नहीं दूँगा।’
अंतर्यामी श्रीहरि ने उनके हृदय का भाव जानकर हँसते हुए कहा, “गोर महाराज! आप पूरे संघ को रोकना चाहते हैं?” मोनजी पंड्या ने करबद्ध होकर कहा, “हे प्रभु! ये संत और भक्त तो आपका ही स्वरूप हैं; इन सबकी सेवा का मनोरथ है।” मोनजी पंड्या का संत-महिमा जानकर श्रीहरि ने ताली बजाकर सभा में कहा, “देखो, मोनजी भगत सत्संग का सच्चा मर्म समझ गए हैं! भगवान के भक्तों की सेवा का अवसर अनंत जन्मों के पुण्यों से मिलता है।” प्रभु भोजन के लिए रुक गए।
मोनजी पंड्या ने घर जाकर तुरंत उत्तम रसोई तैयार की। दोपहर में जब वे श्रीहरि को लिवाने आए और प्रभु बाजार से जा रहे थे, तभी मार्ग में बोघा लुहार का घर आया। बोघा लुहार ने अपनी भट्टी से श्रीहरि को आते देखा, तो काम छोड़कर आँगन में खाट बिछा दी और हाथ जोड़कर बाजार में प्रभु की राह देखने लगा।
श्रीहरि बोघा लुहार का अनन्य प्रेम देखकर सीधे उनके आँगन में पधारे और खाट पर विराजमान हुए। बोघा ने प्रभु को जल पिलाया। थोड़ी देर बाद जब श्रीहरि उठने लगे और बोले, “बोघा! पधरामणी हो गई?” तब बोघा ने भावविह्वल होकर कहा, “महाराज! ऐसे कैसे जाएँगे? पहले कुमकुम का तिलक करने दीजिए और मिश्री का यह टुकड़ा भोग लगाइए!” बोघा ने प्रभु के ललाट पर तिलक कर अपने हाथों से मिश्री का एक बड़ा ढेला श्रीहरि के मुख में अर्पित किया। श्रीहरि परम प्रसन्न होकर मिश्री चबाते हुए बोले, “बोघा! आज तुम्हारी पूरी रसोई हमने आरोग ली, ऐसा जानो!” यह सुनते ही बोघा की आँखों से प्रेमाश्रु बह निकले और वे श्रीहरि के चरणों में लोटपोट हो गए।

Shrihari’s Acceptance of Monji Pandya’s Devotion and Bogha Luhar’s Loving Sugar Lump Offering in Botad
Once, Shreeji Maharaj visited the home of Bhaga Doshi in Botad along with a large retinue of saints and devotees. There, the vibrant festival of Pushpadolotsav (Fuldol) was celebrated with immense devotion, drenching everyone in colors and divine bliss.
As the festivities concluded, Shrihari announced His departure. Hearing this, a local devotee named Monji Pandya conceived an earnest wish in his heart: ‘The Lord showered His supreme grace upon Bhaga Doshi by hosting the festival here. If the entire congregation graces my home for lunch, my residence too shall be sanctified! If Maharaj wills, I shall not let Him depart today.’
Knowing his internal desire, the omniscient Shrihari smiled and asked, “Gor Maharaj! You wish to detain our entire assembly?” Monji Pandya folded his hands and prayed, “O Maharaj! These saints and devotees are Your very limbs; it is my heartfelt longing to serve them all a sanctified meal.” Delighted by Monji Pandya’s deep reverence for the devotees, Shrihari clapped and proclaimed to the assembly, “Behold, Monji Bhagat has grasped the essence of true understanding! The opportunity to serve the fellowship of God’s devotees is attained only through the merit of countless lifetimes.” Shrihari accepted his invitation.
Monji Pandya rushed home and prepared an elaborate feast. At midday, as Shrihari walked through the village market toward Pandya’s house, He passed the dwelling of Bogha Luhar (a blacksmith). Seeing Maharaj approaching from afar, Bogha dropped his tools, ran to his courtyard, spread a fine quilt on a cot, and stood on the street with folded hands.
Perceiving Bogha’s pure affection, Shrihari turned into his courtyard and sat comfortably upon the cot. Bogha served cool water and sat reverently at the Lord’s feet. When Shrihari prepared to leave, saying, “Bogha, is our visit complete?”, Bogha pleaded with loving persistence, “O Maharaj! You cannot leave so soon! Permit me to apply a kumkum chandlo to Your forehead and please accept this sweet lump of rock sugar (sakar)!” With deep affection, Bogha applied kumkum to Shrihari’s forehead and placed a large piece of sugar directly into His holy mouth. Relishing the sugar, Shrihari joyfully proclaimed, “Bogha! Deem it that I have consumed a complete royal banquet at your hands today!” Overwhelmed with tears of supreme devotion, Bogha fell prostrate at the holy feet of Shrihari.
