ધોરાજીમાં માધવજી દવેના ઘેર ગુણાતીતાનંદ સ્વામીને ઓલિયા પુરુષ જાણી મુસ્લિમ બિરાદર દ્વારા સ્તુતિ, સ્વામી દ્વારા ગુણગ્રહણની પ્રશંસા, મંદિરના કૂવાની વંડી ઊંચી કરવા પથ્થર-ચૂનો ભેટ અને કલ્યાણ.
સદગુરુ શ્રી ગુણાતીતાનંદ સ્વામી સત્સંગ વિચરણ કરતાં કરતાં ધોરાજી પધાર્યા હતા અને મંદિરમાં ઉતારો કર્યો હતો. દરરોજ લાલવડે સભા કરી સ્વામી શ્રીહરિના સર્વોપરી મહિમાની વાતો વહાવી સૌને બ્રહ્મરૂપ કરતા હતા.
એક દિવસે ભક્તરાજ માધવજી દવેના ઘરે સંતો સાથે સ્વામી થાળ જમવા પધાર્યા. સ્વામી ઓસરીમાં બેઠા હતા ત્યારે ગામનો એક મુસ્લિમ ગૃહસ્થ કોઈ કામસર માધવજીભાઈના ઘરે આવ્યો. ફળિયામાં ઊભા ઊભા દૂરથી ગુણાતીતાનંદ સ્વામીના તેજોમય સ્વરૂપનાં દર્શન થતાં જ તેના અંતરમાં અનોખી શાંતિ અને શીતળતા વળી ગઈ! તે ભાવવિભોર બની નમાઝીની જેમ હાથ લંબાવી બોલી ઊઠ્યો: “માધવજીભાઈ ! આ તો પરવરદિગારના કોઈ પહોંચેલા મહાન ઓલિયા પુરુષ છે!” તે ઘણીવાર સુધી અહોભાવથી દર્શન કરી કામ પતાવી ગયો.
અંતર્યામી ગુણાતીતાનંદ સ્વામીએ તેના મુમુક્ષુ ભાવને જાણી માધવજીભાઈને કહ્યું: “માધવજીભાઈ ! આ માણસ તો ઘણો ભાવિક જણાયો!” માધવજીભાઈએ કહ્યું, “સ્વામી ! માણસ સારો છે પણ તેને સૌના વખાણ કરવાની ટેવ છે.” ત્યારે સ્વામીએ જીવનનું મહાન સૂત્ર આપ્યું: “માધવજીભાઈ ! કોઈના દોષ જોવા કરતાં સૌના ગુણ જોઈને તેના વખાણ કરવા એ તો બહુ મોટો સદગુણ છે! સમાજમાં નિંદા કરવાના હેવા વધારે હોય છે. આજે એને અમારો યોગ થયો છે, તેની એ ગુણગ્રાહી ટેવ તેનું કલ્યાણ કરી જશે!”
બીજે દિવસે મંદિરના કૂવા પાસે વંડી નીચી હોવાથી સંતોના સ્નાન સમયે બજારમાંથી લોકો દેખતા હતા. સ્વામીએ સંતોની મર્યાદા ખાતર વંડી ઊંચી કરાવવા પથ્થર-ચૂનાની વાત કરી. માધવજીભાઈએ પેલા મુસ્લિમ ભાઈને બોલાવ્યા. તેણે મંદિરે આવી સ્વામીને વંદન કરી કહ્યું: “માઈ-બાપ ! મારું જે કંઈ છે તે આપ જેવા ઓલિયા પુરુષની દુઆથી જ છે, હું આજે જ પથ્થર-ચૂનાનું ગાડું ભરાવીને મોકલી આપું છું!”
તેણે નિઃસ્વાર્થ ભાવે મંદિરની સેવા કરી. ગુણાતીતાનંદ સ્વામીના આશીર્વાદથી તે સમય જતાં પરમ સત્સંગી બન્યો અને મોક્ષનો અધિકારી થયો.

धोराजी में सद्गुरु गुणातीतानंद स्वामी द्वारा मुस्लिम भाई की गुणग्राही दृष्टि की सराहना और मंदिर सेवा
धोराजी में सद्गुरु गुणातीतानंद स्वामी माधवजी दवे के घर पधारे। एक मुस्लिम व्यक्ति ने दूर से स्वामीजी का तेज देखकर कहा, “माधवजी भाई ! ये तो खुदा के पहुंचे हुए कोई महान औलिया हैं!”
माधवजी ने कहा कि उसे सबकी प्रशंसा करने की आदत है। स्वामीजी ने सीख दी: “किसी के अवगुण देखने के बजाय गुण देखना बहुत बड़ा सद्गुण है। संसार में निंदा करने वाले अधिक हैं। उसका यह गुण उसका कल्याण करेगा।”
अगले दिन मंदिर के कुएं की दीवार ऊंची कराने हेतु जब सामग्री की आवश्यकता हुई, तब उस मुस्लिम भाई ने सहर्ष निशुल्क पत्थर और चूना भेजा। स्वामीजी के आशीर्वाद से वह कालांतर में सत्संगी बना।

Dhoraji: Gunatitanand Swami Praises a Muslim Brother’s Virtue-Seeking Nature and Inspires Mandir Seva
During his spiritual tour, Sadguru Shree Gunatitanand Swami arrived in Dhoraji, lodging at the local temple and conducting daily spiritual assemblies. One day, Swami graced the home of devotee Madhavji Dave for meals along with his disciple saints.
While Swami was seated upon the veranda, a local Muslim gentleman entered the courtyard on personal business. Catching a distant glimpse of Gunatitanand Swami’s radiant countenance, an overwhelming wave of celestial peace enveloped his heart. Raising his hands in prayerful reverence like a devout worshipper, he exclaimed: “Madhavjibhai! This holy saint is truly an enlightened Auliya (divine seer) sent directly by the Almighty Khuda!”
The omniscient Gunatitanand Swami observed his pious sentiments and remarked: “Madhavjibhai! That gentleman possesses a truly devout heart!” Madhavji replied, “Swami, he is honest, but he possesses a constant habit of praising everyone he meets.” Gunatitanand Swami revealed a profound spiritual principle: “Madhavjibhai! Perceiving the virtues in others and praising them is an extraordinary spiritual merit! The world is rampant with habits of finding fault and gossiping. Today he encountered Us; his virtue-seeking nature will ensure the redemption of his soul!”
The following day, observing that the perimeter wall near the temple well was low and visible to market passersby, Swami expressed a desire to raise the wall to preserve monastic seclusion. Madhavji summoned the same Muslim brother, who dealt in building stones and lime. Rushing to the temple, the gentleman prostrated before Swami: “Revered Master! Whatever prosperity I possess is solely due to the divine blessings of enlightened saints like you; I shall dispatch cartloads of building stone and lime immediately free of cost!”
Through his selfless devotional service and Gunatitanand Swami’s grace, he subsequently embraced Satsang, securing eternal spiritual redemption.
