ભૂજમાં રામાનંદી સંપ્રદાયનાં સૈજીબાઈને શ્રીજીમહારાજની મૂર્તિમાં ધનુર્ધારી રઘુનાથજીનાં દર્શન થવાં, સમાધિનિષ્ઠ થવું અને યમપુરીમાં કષ્ટ ભોગવતી પોતાની માતાનો શ્રીહરિની કૃપાથી બદ્રિકાશ્રમ મોકલી ઉદ્ધાર કરાવવો.
ભગવાન શ્રીસ્વામિનારાયણ કચ્છ દેશના ભૂજનગરમાં પધાર્યા ત્યારે સુંદરજીભાઈ તથા હીરજીભાઈ સુથારની મેડીએ ઉતારો રહેતો. નગરમાં પ્રભુ પધાર્યાના સમાચાર મળતાં રામાનંદી સંપ્રદાયના આસ્થાવાન મુમુક્ષુ બહેન સૈજીબાઈ દર્શનાર્થે આવ્યા.
શ્રીજીમહારાજ સન્મુખ આવતાં જ સૈજીબાઈની આંખો વિસ્મયથી પહોળી થઈ ગઈ! કારણ કે શ્રીહરિની દિવ્ય મૂર્તિમાં તેમને પોતાના આરાધ્ય ઇષ્ટદેવ ધનુર્ધારી પ્રભુ શ્રી રઘુનાથજીનાં સાક્ષાત્ દર્શન થયાં! પ્રથમ તો તેમને મનુષ્ય સ્વરૂપે વિચરતા શ્રીહરિમાં સંશય થયો, પરંતુ જ્યારે જ્યારે તેઓ ગામના મંદિરે શ્રીરામચંદ્રજીનાં દર્શને જતાં, ત્યારે શ્રી રઘુનાથજીની મૂર્તિમાં પણ પ્રગટ શ્રીહરિ જ દેખાતા! સતત ત્રણ દિવસ આ જ દિવ્ય અનુભવ થતાં સૈજીબાઈને પૂર્ણ નિશ્ચય થયો કે આ સ્વામિનારાયણ સાક્ષાત્ પરબ્રહ્મ પુરુષોત્તમ નારાયણ છે. તેમણે કંઠી બાંધી વર્તમાન ધારણ કર્યાં.
શ્રીહરિની અસીમ કૃપાથી સૈજીબાઈ સમાધિનિષ્ઠ થયાં. સમાધિમાં તેઓ ચૌદ લોક પાર કરી અક્ષરધામમાં પહોંચતાં અને પ્રભુની સેવામાં અનંત મુક્તોને જોતાં. એક દિવસ સમાધિમાં શ્રીહરિએ તેમને દર્શન આપી કહ્યું, “સૈજીબાઈ ! તમારી માતા યમપુરીમાં ઘોર કષ્ટ ભોગવે છે, જુઓ તો ખરા!”
પ્રભુએ દ્રષ્ટિ કરાવતાં સૈજીબાઈએ જોયું કે યમદૂતો તેમની માતાને અતિશય માર મારી રહ્યા હતા અને માતા ચીસો પાડી રહી હતી! માતાએ જીવનભર કોઈ સત્કર્મ કર્યું નહોતું અને અઘોરી ભૂવાના સંગમાં રહી અધર્મ આચર્યો હતો. માતાની આ દારૂણ પીડા જોઈ સૈજીબાઈનું હૃદય દ્રવી ઊઠ્યું. તેમણે હાથ જોડી શ્રીહરિને કરગરીને પ્રાર્થના કરી: “હે કૃપાળુ પ્રભુ ! જીવ તો અજ્ઞાની છે, આપ તો દીનદયાળુ છો! મારી માતાને યમપુરીના નરકમાંથી મુક્ત કરી આપના ધામમાં સ્થાન આપો!”
ભક્તવત્સલ શ્રીહરિએ સૈજીબાઈની પ્રાર્થના સ્વીકારી તેમની માતાને યમપુરીમાંથી મુક્ત કરી અને આજ્ઞા આપી: “તમારી માતા થોડાં વર્ષ બદ્રિકાશ્રમમાં રહી તપશ્ચર્યા કરે, ત્યારબાદ અમે તેમને અમારા દિવ્ય અક્ષરધામમાં તેડી લઈશું.” આ સાંભળી સૈજીબાઈનું હૃદય પરમ શાંતિ પામ્યું.

भुज में सैजीबाई को श्रीहरि में रघुनाथजी के दर्शन, समाधि और माता का यमपुरी से उद्धार
कच्छ के भुज में रामानंदी संप्रदाय की सैजीबाई ने जब श्रीजीमहाराज के दर्शन किए, तब उन्हें प्रभु में धनुर्धारी श्री रघुनाथजी (श्रीराम) के साक्षात दर्शन हुए। मंदिर में भी उन्हें श्रीराम की प्रतिमा में श्रीहरि ही दिखे। पूर्ण निश्चय होने पर वे सत्संगी बनीं।
प्रभु कृपा से सैजीबाई समाधिस्थ होने लगीं। एक बार समाधि में प्रभु ने उन्हें दिखाया कि उनकी माता पूर्वजन्म के दुष्कर्मों के कारण यमपुरी में घोर यातनाएं भोग रही हैं।
सैजीबाई ने अश्रुपूर्ण नेत्रों से माता के उद्धार की प्रार्थना की। दयालु श्रीहरि ने उनकी माता को यमपुरी से मुक्त कर बदरिकाश्रम भेजा ताकि वे तप द्वारा शुद्ध होकर अंततः अक्षरधाम की अधिकारी बन सकें।

Bhuj: Saijibai Beholds Raghunathji within Shreehari, Attains Samadhi and Redeems Her Mother from Hell
During Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s stay at the home of Sunderjibhai and Hirjibhai Suthar in Bhuj, Saijibai, a pious lady belonging to the Ramanandi tradition, came for darshan.
Beholding Shreeji Maharaj, Saijibai’s eyes widened in amazement: radiating from Shreehari’s divine form, she beheld the sublime, bow-wielding manifestation of her cherished deity, Lord Raghunathji (Shree Ramchandra)! Initially hesitant, whenever she visited the local temple, she observed the exact same form of manifest Shreehari residing within the consecrated idol of Lord Ram. This divine vision occurred consecutively for three days, dispelling all doubts and confirming that Bhagwan Swaminarayan was the Supreme Lord. She accepted the holy kanthi and embraced Satsang.
By Shreehari’s grace, Saijibai attained the elevated state of nirvikalp samadhi, routinely visiting celestial realms and beholding Akshardham. During one profound samadhi, Shreehari revealed: “Saijibai! Behold your departed mother suffering agonizing torment in Yampuri (the nether hells)!”
Looking into the vision, Saijibai witnessed ferocious messengers of Yama tormenting her mother. During her earthly life, her mother had never performed spiritual devotion and had lived unrighteously under evil influences. Overcome with filial compassion, Saijibai wept and pleaded at Shreehari’s feet: “O Merciful Lord! The conditioned soul is ignorant and weak, but You are the ocean of infinite mercy! Pray rescue my mother from these agonizing hells and grant her refuge in Your divine abode!”
Moved by His devotee’s selfless intercession, Shreehari pulled her mother from the fires of Yampuri, decreeing: “Let your mother practice purifying austerities in Badrikashram for some time, after which We shall personally escort her to Our eternal Akshardham.” Hearing these reassuring words, Saijibai’s heart found supreme solace.
