ભાવનગરના મહારાજા વજેસિંહજી બાપુનું ગઢપુરમાં આગમન, દારૂગોળાની ખોટી અફવાઓનું નિવારણ, ગોપીનાથજી મંદિરમાં સૂર્યનારાયણનાં દર્શન, દાદાખાચરની રક્ષાનું વચન અને શ્રીહરિનું ભાવનગર પધારવાનું વચન.
ભાવનગર રાજ્યના મહારાજા વજેસિંહજી બાપુ ગઢપુર પધાર્યા ત્યારે સમગ્ર પંથકમાં ચર્ચા જાગી. દુષ્ટ લોકોએ ભાવનગર દરબારના કાન ભંભેર્યા હતા કે ગઢડામાં સ્વામિનારાયણે મોટો કિલ્લો અને ભોંયરાં બાંધ્યાં છે જેમાં દારૂગોળો ભરવામાં આવે છે અને રાજ્ય સામે બળવો કરવાની તૈયારી છે!
મહારાજા વજેસિંહજી જાતે તપાસ કરવા માટે ગઢપુર પધાર્યા. દાદાખાચરે ભાવનગર નરેશનું રાજવી ઠાઠ અને પરમ વિનય સાથે સ્વાગત કર્યું. ત્રાંસ ભરીને રૂપિયા, રેશમી વસ્ત્રો, અલંકારો અને શેલું નજરાણા રૂપે અર્પણ કર્યાં. શ્રીજીમહારાજે વજેસિંહજી બાપુને આવકારીને કહ્યું, “બાપુ ! આપ દાદાખાચરના મોભી રાજા છો, માટે અમારા દાદાખાચરની સંભાળ રાખજો.” વજેસિંહજી બાપુએ બે હાથ જોડી નમ્રતાથી કહ્યું: “હે મહારાજ ! દાદાખાચરની સંભાળ હું રાખીશ, પરંતુ આપ મારા સમગ્ર ભાવનગર રાજ્યની સંભાળ રાખજો!”
ત્યારબાદ શ્રીજીમહારાજ પોતે વજેસિંહજી બાપુનો હાથ પકડી નૂતન નિર્મિત શ્રી ગોપીનાથજી દેવના ભવ્ય શિખરબદ્ધ મંદિરમાં દર્શન કરાવવા લઈ ગયા. શ્રીહરિએ હસીને કહ્યું: “બાપુ ! જુઓ, આ મુખ્ય ગર્ભગૃહમાં શ્રી ગોપીનાથજી મહારાજ, રાધિકાજી, ધર્મદેવ અને ભક્તિમાતા પધાર્યાં છે; અને આ દક્ષિણ દિશાના દેરામાં આપના કુળના આરાધ્ય દેવ સાક્ષાત્ શ્રી સૂર્યનારાયણ પધરાવ્યા છે! કેટલાક લોકોએ આપને ભરમાવ્યા કે અમે અહીં દારૂગોળો ભરવા કોઠીઓ બનાવી છે, પણ અહીં તો માત્ર પ્રભુની ભક્તિનો ભંડાર છે!”
મંદિરનાં પગથિયાં ઊતરતી વખતે શ્રીહરિનો કરકમળ પોતાના હાથમાં હોવાનો અનુભવ કરી ભાવવિભોર વજેસિંહજી બાપુ બોલ્યા: “હે પ્રભુ ! આજે આપે અમારો હાથ ગ્રહણ કર્યો છે, તે હવે ક્યારેય છોડશો નહીં! અને આપ એકવાર અમારા ભાવનગરને પાવન કરવા જરૂર પધારો એવી અમારી હૃદયપૂર્વકની પ્રાર્થના છે.” શ્રીજીમહારાજે પ્રસન્ન થઈ વરદાન આપ્યું: “બાપુ ! અમે ભાવનગર જરૂર આવીશું.”
આપેલા વચન અનુસાર શ્રીજીમહારાજ સંતો અને કાઠી દરબારો સાથે વડતાલના ફૂલદોલોત્સવ પછી સારંગપુર અને રોહિશાળા થઈને ભાવનગર પધાર્યા અને સમગ્ર રાજપરિવારને પરમ શાંતિ બક્ષી.

भावनगर के महाराजा वजेसिंहजी बापू गढपुर पधारे। कुछ ईर्ष्यालु तत्वों ने झूठी अफवाह फैलाई थी कि स्वामीनारायण ने गढडा में बारूद का भंडार एकत्र किया है।
महाराजा ने स्वयं आकर वस्तुस्थिति देखी। दादाखाचर ने उनका राजसी सत्कार किया। श्रीजीमहाराज स्वयं महाराजा का हाथ पकड़कर श्री गोपीनाथजी मंदिर ले गए और दिखाया कि मुख्य मंदिर में गोपीनाथजी और अन्य गर्भगृह में उनके कुलदेवता सूर्यनारायण प्रतिष्ठित हैं।
यह देखकर महाराजा अत्यंत लज्जित हुए और प्रभु के चरणों में नतमस्तक हो गए। उन्होंने दादाखाचर की रक्षा का वचन दिया और प्रभु से भावनगर पधारने की प्रार्थना की। श्रीहरि ने वचन दिया और कालांतर में भावनगर पधारकर राजपरिवार को कृतार्थ किया।

Maharaja Vajesinhji of Bhavnagar Visits Gadhpur: Divine Assurances and Mandir Darshan
When Maharaja Vajesinhji Bapu of Bhavnagar state arrived in Gadhpur, rumors swirled across the region. Spiteful miscreants had poisoned the king’s ears with malicious falsehoods, claiming that Swaminarayan was constructing massive subterranean vaults in Gadhada to stockpile gunpowder and weaponry for a rebellion against royal authority!
To investigate personally, Maharaja Vajesinhji visited Gadhada. Dada Khachar accorded him a magnificent royal reception, presenting brass platters filled with gold coins, ceremonial shawls, and royal gifts. Shreeji Maharaj greeted the Maharaja warmly: “Bapu! You are Dada Khachar’s sovereign ruler; pray look after our pious Dada Khachar.” Maharaja Vajesinhji folded his hands with deep humility: “O Maharaj! I shall certainly protect Dada Khachar, but pray take eternal care of my entire kingdom of Bhavnagar!”
Shreeji Maharaj then lovingly took the Maharaja’s hand and escorted him through the magnificent, newly constructed marble temple of Shree Gopinathji Maharaj. Smiling radiantly, Shreehari revealed: “Bapu! Behold, in the central sanctum reside Shree Gopinathji Maharaj, Radhikaji, and Dharmadev-Bhaktimata; and in this side shrine, We have consecrated none other than Lord Suryanarayan, the revered ancestral deity of your royal solar dynasty! Misleading voices claimed We were building vaults for gunpowder, whereas here resides purely the immortal nectar of divine worship!”
Descending the temple steps while holding Shreehari’s lotus hand, the overwhelmed Maharaja prayed: “O Lord! Today You have clasped my hand; pray never release it throughout eternity! I fervently beg You to grace our royal capital of Bhavnagar with Your holy presence.” Shreeji Maharaj gladly promised: “Bapu, We shall definitely visit Bhavnagar.” True to His word, Shreehari subsequently visited Bhavnagar via Sarangpur and Rohishala, bestowing divine bliss upon the entire royal lineage.
