માંડવીમાં ખૈયા ખત્રીના કારખાને ચણતાં પચાસ-સાઠ ચકલાં અને ચાલીસ-પચાસ કબૂતરોને દ્રષ્ટિમાત્રથી સમાધિ કરાવવી, ટોપલા ભરી પાછા મૂકાવવા અને લક્ષ્મીનારાયણ રૂપે દિવ્ય દર્શન.
શ્રીજીમહારાજ કચ્છ દેશના માંડવી બંદરે પધાર્યા હતા અને પરમ ભક્ત ખૈયા ખત્રીના રંગાટી કારખાનામાં વિરાજમાન હતા. ત્યાં નગરના દસ-બાર પ્રતિષ્ઠિત પુરુષો પણ દર્શને બેઠા હતા. ખૈયા ખત્રીએ શ્રીહરિને વિનંતી કરી: “હે મહારાજ ! આ સર્વે માણસો બેઠા છે, તેઓને આપ કૃપા કરીને કોઈ પરચો બતાવો જેથી આપના ભગવાનપણાનો નિશ્ચય થાય!”
એ સમયે ફળિયામાં કોઈકે બાજરી નાખી હતી, જ્યાં પચાસ-સાઠ જેટલાં ચકલાં દાણા ચણતાં હતાં. શ્રીજીમહારાજે માત્ર એક દ્રષ્ટિપાત કર્યો અને સર્વે ચકલાંનાં નાડી-પ્રાણ ખેંચાઈ જતાં તે ક્ષણવારમાં જમીન પર ઢળી પડી ઊંડી સમાધિમાં લીન થઈ ગયાં! મહારાજે તે માણસોને કહ્યું, “જાઓ, આ સર્વે ચકલાંને ટોપલામાં વીણીને અહીં લાવો.” માણસોએ હાથમાં લઈને જોયું તો ચકલાં સાચે જ નિશ્ચેષ્ટ હતાં. મહારાજે કહ્યું, “હવે એ સર્વને પાછાં ત્યાં મૂકી આવો.” તેમણે મૂકી આવતાં જ શ્રીહરિએ ફરી કૃપાદ્રષ્ટિ કરી, એટલે સર્વે ચકલાં સજીવન થઈ પંખ ફફડાવી જેમ પહેલાં ચણતાં હતાં તેમ નિર્દોષ ભાવે ચણવા લાગ્યાં! ઉપસ્થિત લોકો બોલી ઊઠ્યા, “આટલાં પક્ષીઓનાં નાડી-પ્રાણ તાણી સમાધિ કરાવવી એ મોટા મોટા દેવતાઓથી પણ ન બને! સ્વામિનારાયણ સાક્ષાત્ પૂર્ણ પ્રભુ છે!”
બીજે દિવસે ખૈયા ખત્રીના કારખાને શીશાગઢના મુમુક્ષુ ગરાસિયા મોડજીભાઈ અને અન્ય લોકો બેઠા હતા. ખૈયા ખત્રીએ ફરીથી પરચો માગ્યો. મોડજી ગરાસિયાએ રોકતાં કહ્યું, “ખૈયા ભક્ત ! સંત-ભગવાન પાસે તો જીવના મોક્ષની વાત પૂછાય, કોઈ ચમત્કાર ન મંગાય!” છતાં ખૈયા ભક્તના આગ્રહથી શ્રીહરિએ ફળિયામાં જાર ચણતાં ચાલીસ-પચાસ કબૂતરો સામે દ્રષ્ટિ કરી. તમામ કબૂતરો પૃથ્વી પર ઢળી પડ્યાં. મોડજી ભક્તે ગભરાઈને કહ્યું, “મહારાજ તો અગ્નિરૂપ છે, આ પક્ષીઓ મરી જશે તો તેનું પાપ તમને લાગશે!” ખૈયા ભક્તે કહ્યું, “મોડજીબાપુ ! જેને નાડી-પ્રાણ ખેંચતાં આવડે, તેને પાછા મૂકતાં પણ આવડે જ ને!” થોડી ક્ષણો બાદ શ્રીજીમહારાજે ફરી દ્રષ્ટિ કરી એટલે તમામ કબૂતરો જીવંત થઈ દાણા ચણવા લાગ્યાં. સર્વે અવાક્ થઈ શ્રીહરિના પૂર્ણ અવતારપણાને વંદી રહ્યા.
ત્યારબાદ માંડવીના લક્ષ્મીનારાયણ મંદિરમાં જ્યારે શ્રીહરિ દર્શને પધાર્યા, ત્યારે સમસ્ત નગરજનોને શ્રીજીમહારાજની દિવ્ય મૂર્તિમાં સાક્ષાત્ ચતુર્ભુજ લક્ષ્મીનારાયણનાં દર્શન થયાં. માંડવીમાં બે માસ રહી અગણિત જીવોનો ઉદ્ધાર કરી પ્રભુ વહાણમાં બેસી જોડિયા બંદરે પધાર્યા.

मांडवी में खैया खत्री के कारखाने में चिड़ियों और कबूतरों को समाधि और श्रीहरि की अलौकिक लीला
कच्छ के मांडवी बंदरगाह पर श्रीजीमहाराज भक्त खैया खत्री के कारखाने में विराजमान थे। खैया खत्री की प्रार्थना पर कि उपस्थित लोगों को कोई चमत्कार दिखाइए, प्रभु ने आंगन में बाजरा चुगती 50-60 चिड़ियों पर दृष्टिपात किया। तत्क्षण सभी चिड़ियों के नाड़ी-प्राण खिंच गए और वे गहरी समाधि में निश्चेष्ट होकर गिर पड़ीं।
श्रीहरि के आदेश पर लोगों ने उन्हें टोकरी में भरा। पुनः उसी स्थान पर रखने के बाद जैसे ही महाराज ने अमृत-दृष्टि डाली, सभी चिड़ियां चहचहाती हुई उड़ने और चुगने लगीं!
अगले दिन शीशागढ़ के मोडजी गरासिया की उपस्थिति में पुनः 40-50 कबूतरों को श्रीहरि ने दृष्टि मात्र से समाधिस्थ कर दिया और पुनः चेतनावान कर दिया। उपस्थित जनसमुदाय पुकार उठा कि जो कार्य देवताओं के लिए भी असंभव है, वह स्वामी स्वामीनारायण ने सहज कर दिखाया। बाद में लक्ष्मीनारायण मंदिर में प्रभु ने भक्तों को साक्षात लक्ष्मीनारायण रूप में दर्शन देकर मांडवी के असंख्य मुमुक्षुओं का उद्धार किया।

Mandvi: Samadhi Bestowed upon Sparrows and Pigeons at Khaiya Khatri’s Workshop and Shreehari’s Divine Supremacy
During His divine tour of Kutch, Bhagwan Swaminarayan stayed at the port of Mandvi, gracing the fabric dyeing workshop of His beloved devotee, Khaiya Khatri. Ten to twelve prominent local citizens were gathered for darshan. Khaiya Khatri pleaded: “O Maharaj! Pray bestow a divine miracle upon these visitors so they may realize Your supreme divinity!”
In the open courtyard, someone had scattered millet grains, where fifty to sixty sparrows were actively pecking. Shreeji Maharaj merely cast His divine glance upon them. Instantly, their vital life-breaths and pulses were drawn inward, and all the sparrows collapsed motionless onto the ground in deep samadhi! Maharaj asked the spectators, “Go, collect all these sparrows in a basket and bring them here.” The men picked them up, confirming they were completely still. Maharaj instructed, “Now place them back where they were pecking.” As soon as they did, Shreehari cast another compassionate glance; instantly, all the sparrows revived, fluttered their wings, and resumed happily pecking grains! The astonished assembly exclaimed: “Drawing the life-breaths of so many creatures into samadhi and reviving them at will is impossible even for mighty demi-gods! Bhagwan Swaminarayan is truly the Supreme Lord!”
The following day, Modji Garasiya of Shishagadh visited along with others. Khaiya Khatri again requested a demonstration. Modji cautioned: “Khaiya Bhakta! From enlightened souls and the Lord, one should seek eternal salvation of the soul, never cheap miracles!” Yet, at Khaiya’s insistence, Shreehari cast His gaze upon forty to fifty pigeons pecking sorghum grains in the yard. All the pigeons fell lifeless onto the earth. Modji exclaimed in distress: “Maharaj is like blazing fire; if these birds perish, the sin will fall upon you!” Khaiya replied with firm faith: “Modjibapu! He who knows how to withdraw the life-force certainly knows how to restore it!” Moments later, Shreeji Maharaj glanced at them again; every pigeon sprang back to life, fluttering and eating grains. Everyone bowed in awe before His supreme divinity.
Later, when Shreehari visited the local Laxminarayan temple in Mandvi, the assembled congregation beheld the transcendental four-armed form of Bhagwan Laxminarayan radiating from Shreeji Maharaj’s divine murti. Spending two months in Mandvi, Shreehari redeemed countless seekers before departing by ship toward Jodia port.
