શ્રીજીમહારાજની પરાવાણી: નિત્ય પૂજામાં ચાર પ્રકારના કુસંગીઓ (કુંડાપંથી, શક્તિપંથી, શુષ્કવેદાંતી, નાસ્તિક) અને આંતરિક છ શત્રુઓ થકી રક્ષણ માટે પ્રભુને આર્ત પ્રાર્થના કરવી.
શ્રીજીમહારાજે ગઢડા પ્રથમ પ્રકરણના ૪૮મા વચનામૃતમાં પોતાના ભક્તોને આધ્યાત્મિક પતનથી બચવા માટે નિત્ય પૂજામાં માંગવા યોગ્ય પરમ રક્ષા-કવચ સમાન પ્રાર્થનાનું રહસ્ય પ્રગટ કર્યું છે:
“જે ભગવાનનો ભક્ત હોય તેને નિત્ય પ્રત્યે ભગવાનની પૂજા અને સ્તુતિ કરીને ભગવાન પાસે એમ માંગવું જે: ‘હે મહારાજ ! હે સ્વામિન્ ! હે કૃપાસિંધો ! હે શરણાગત-પ્રતિપાલક ! કુસંગી થકી મારી સદા રક્ષા કરજો.’
તે કુસંગી ચાર પ્રકારના છે: ૧. કુંડાપંથી: જો તેનો સંગ થાય તો વર્તમાન અને સદાચારમાંથી ચુકાવીને ભ્રષ્ટ કરે. ૨. શક્તિપંથી: જો તેનો સંગ થાય તો દારૂ-માંસ ખવરાવીને સ્વધર્મ થકી ભ્રષ્ટ કરે. ૩. શુષ્કવેદાંતી: જો તેનો સંગ થાય તો ભગવાનનું અક્ષરધામ, ભગવાનનો સદા દિવ્ય સાકાર આકાર અને અવતારોની મૂર્તિઓ—એ સર્વેને ખોટાં માયિક ઠેરવીને પ્રભુની ભક્તિ અને ઉપાસનામાંથી જીવને ભ્રષ્ટ કરે. ૪. નાસ્તિક: જો તેનો સંગ થાય તો કેવળ કર્મને જ સાચાં માનીને સર્વકર્તાહર્તા પરમેશ્વરને નકારી કાઢે અને અનાદિ સત્શાસ્ત્રોના માર્ગથી ભ્રષ્ટ કરે.
માટે ભગવાન પાસે માંગવું કે આ ચાર પ્રકારના માણસોનો કદી સંગ ન થાઓ! અને વળી એમ પ્રાર્થના કરવી જે, ‘હે મહારાજ ! કામ, ક્રોધ, લોભ, મોહ, મદ-અહંકાર, ઈર્ષ્યા અને દેહાભિમાન એ આદિક જે અંતઃશત્રુઓ છે તે થકી મારી રક્ષા કરજો અને નિત્ય તમારા સાચા એકાંતિક ભક્તોનો સમાગમ આપજો!’ આવી રીતે નિત્ય પ્રાર્થના કરવી અને કુસંગ તથા અંતઃશત્રુઓથી નિરંતર સાવચેત રહેવું.”

श्रीजीमहाराज ने गढडा प्रथम प्रकरण के ४८वें वचनामृत में नित्य पूजा में अंतःशत्रुओं और कुसंगियों से रक्षा की प्रार्थना करने का आदेश दिया है:
“भगवान के भक्त को नित्य पूजा के उपरांत प्रभु से करबद्ध प्रार्थना करनी चाहिए: ‘हे महाराज ! हे दयासिंधु ! हे शरणागतवत्सल ! कुसंगियों से मेरी सदा रक्षा करें।’
कुसंगी चार प्रकार के होते हैं: १. कुंडापंथी: जो आचरण और नियमों से भ्रष्ट करता है। २. शक्तिपंथी: जो मदिरा-मांस आदि द्वारा स्वधर्म से भ्रष्ट करता है। ३. शुष्कवेदांती: जो भगवान के धाम, नित्य साकार दिव्य स्वरूप और अवतारों को मिथ्या बताकर भक्ति-उपासना नष्ट करता है। ४. नास्तिक: जो केवल कर्म को सत्य मानकर परमेश्वर को नकारता है और शास्त्रों से विमुख करता है।
प्रभु से प्रार्थना करनी चाहिए कि इन चारों का संग कभी न हो। साथ ही काम, क्रोध, लोभ, मोह, अहंकार, ईर्ष्या और देहाभिमान रूपी आंतरिक शत्रुओं से रक्षा की याचना करनी चाहिए और नित्य सच्चे संतों का संग मांगना चाहिए।”

Vachanamrut Gadhada I-48: Daily Prayer for Protection against Four Types of Kusangis and Inner Foes
In the 48th discourse of the First Section of Gadhada in the Vachanamrut, Shreeji Maharaj prescribed an essential daily prayer for all spiritual aspirants to protect themselves from spiritual degradation:
“Every devotee of God, after completing their daily morning puja, should pray with deep yearning: ‘O Maharaj! O Lord! O Ocean of Mercy! O Protector of the surrendered! Pray protect me from the association of kusangis (toxic influences).’
There are four distinct types of kusangis:
- Kundapanthis: Those who corrupt one’s moral vows, conduct, and purity.
- Shaktapanthis: Those who mislead one into consuming intoxicating liquor and meat, devastating righteous duty.
- Shushka-Vedantins (Dry Intellectualists): Those who deceitfully label God’s eternal divine abode, His transcendental personal form, and His divine avatars as mere illusory maya, thereby completely destroying pure devotion and upasana.
- Nastiks (Atheists): Those who proclaim material action (karma) alone to be absolute while denying the Supreme Lord as the divine doer, leading the soul astray from Vedic scriptures.
Therefore, pray daily that you may never keep company with these four types of corrupting influences! Furthermore, pray: ‘O Lord! Protect me from the inner enemies of lust, anger, greed, infatuation, arrogance, jealousy, and bodily identification; and bless me with the perpetual fellowship of Your genuine, holy devotees!’ One must remain perpetually vigilant against toxic associations and internal passions.”
