પરગામથી આવેલા કાઠી ગરાસિયા ભક્તોને ઘેર જઈ જનક રાજાની જેમ નિર્લેપ રહેવા શ્રીહરિની આજ્ઞા, ભક્તોની વિરહ વ્યથા અને અખંડ મૂર્તિ દર્શનનું વરદાન.
ગઢપુરમાં શ્રીજીમહારાજના સાંનિધ્યમાં અનેક કાઠી દરબારો અને ગરાસિયા હરિભક્તો પરગામથી આવીને પ્રેમરસમાં લીન થઈ રોકાયા હતા. એક સમયે શ્રીહરિએ તેમને આજ્ઞા કરતાં કહ્યું: “જન કાઠી ગરાશીયા જેહ, પરગામથી આવ્યા છો તેહ…! જૈને નિજ ઘર કામ સંભાળો, મારી આજ્ઞા તે પ્રેમથી પાળો..! રહ્યા જનક વિદેહી તે જેમ, રહો સંસારમાં તમે તેમ…!!”
શ્રીહરિએ સમજાવ્યું કે સંસારમાં રહીને પણ જેમ રાજા જનક વિદેહીભાવે નિર્લેપ રહ્યા હતા, તેમ તમારે મારી આજ્ઞામાં રહી ઘર-કારભાર સંભાળવો. પરંતુ આ સાંભળતાં જ પ્રેમી ભક્તોની આંખોમાંથી અશ્રુધારા વહેવા લાગી. તેઓ બે હાથ જોડી ગદ્ગદ કંઠે બોલ્યા: “નેણે નિરખિયે મુરતિ તમારી, આવે પાંપણો આડી અમારી…!! એટલોય વિજોગ તમારો, સહી ન શકે જીવ અમારો..! કેમ વસિયે અમે જઈ દૂર, સદા રાખોજી આપ હજૂર…!!”
ભક્તોએ પોકારીને કહ્યું, “હે નાથ ! આપની દિવ્ય મૂર્તિને નીરખતાં અમારી પાંપણ પલકારો મારે તેટલો ક્ષણિક વિયોગ પણ અમારો જીવ સહન કરી શકતો નથી, તો અમે આપનાથી દૂર પરગામ કેવી રીતે જઈ શકીએ ? અમને સદાય આપની હજૂરમાં જ રાખો!”
ભક્તોનો આવો ઉત્કટ સ્નેહ અને વિરહભાવ જોઈ ભક્તવત્સલ શ્રીહરિનું હૃદય દ્રવી ઊઠ્યું. પ્રભુએ અભયદાન આપતાં કહ્યું: “સુણી બોલિયા શ્રીભગવાન, મન ધરજો તમે મારું ધ્યાન..! મારી મૂર્તિ અખંડ દેખાશે, મારો કદિયે વિજોગ ન થાશે…!!”
શ્રીહરિએ આશીર્વાદ આપ્યા કે તમે જ્યાં રહેશો ત્યાં અંતરમાં મારું ધ્યાન ધરશો એટલે મારી સાક્ષાત્ મૂર્તિ તમને અખંડ પ્રત્યક્ષ દેખાશે અને કદી વિયોગ અનુભવાશે નહીં. આ વરદાન પામી સર્વ કાઠી દરબારો સંતોષ પામી સ્વગૃહે પધાર્યા.

काठी दरबारों को जनक विदेही जैसी वृत्ति की आज्ञा, भक्तों का विरह और अखंड दर्शन का वरदान
गढपुर में श्रीजीमहाराज के सान्निध्य में दूर-दूर से आए अनेक काठी दरबार व गरासिया भक्त प्रेम-आनंद में निमग्न थे। एक दिन श्रीहरि ने उन्हें कर्तव्य-बोध कराते हुए आज्ञा दी: “जो काठी व गरासिया भक्त अन्य गांवों से आए हैं, वे अब अपने-अपने घर लौटकर गृहस्थी संभालें और मेरी आज्ञा का पालन करें। जिस प्रकार राजा जनक संसार में रहकर भी विदेही रहे, उसी प्रकार तुम भी अनासक्त रहकर व्यवहार करो।”
किंतु यह सुनते ही विरही भक्तों के नेत्रों से अश्रु बहने लगे। उन्होंने हाथ जोड़कर रुंधे कंठ से कहा: “हे प्रभु ! आपकी दिव्य छवि को निहारते समय हमारी पलकें झपकने का क्षणिक वियोग भी हमारा प्राण सहन नहीं कर पाता! फिर हम आपसे दूर कैसे रह सकते हैं ? हमें सदा अपने सम्मुख ही रखिए!”
भक्तों का ऐसा अलौकिक प्रेम देखकर करुणासिंधु प्रभु ने अभय वरदान दिया: “तुम अपने हृदय में मेरा निरंतर ध्यान करना! मेरी यह दिव्य मूर्ति तुम्हें अखंड प्रत्यक्ष दिखाई देगी और तुम्हें मेरा कभी वियोग नहीं होगा!”
इस दिव्य आश्वासन से तृप्त होकर सभी भक्त अपने-अपने गांव लौटे।

Counsel to Kathi Devotees to Live Like King Janak, the Pain of Separation, and Constant Darshan
In Gadhada, many Kathi chieftains and Garasiya devotees from distant villages were lingering in the sublime presence of Shreeji Maharaj, completely absorbed in the bliss of His company. One day, Shreehari lovingly guided them regarding their worldly duties: “All Kathi and Garasiya devotees who have arrived from other villages should now return to their homes, manage their family responsibilities, and faithfully obey My commands. Reside in the world unattached, just as King Janak lived as a detached Videhi soul!”
Hearing the command to depart, tears welled up in the eyes of the loving devotees. With trembling hands and choking voices, they pleaded: “O Lord! When our eyes behold Your radiant countenance, our souls cannot bear even the momentary separation caused by the blinking of our eyelids! How then could we possibly endure living far away in distant villages? Pray keep us eternally before Your holy presence!”
Deeply moved by their profound love and pangs of separation (virah), compassionate Shreehari comforted them with a magnificent benediction: “Meditate upon Me constantly within your hearts! My divine form shall remain uninterruptedly visible before your inner vision, and you shall never experience separation from Me!”
Uplifted and consoled by this divine promise, the devotees peacefully returned to their homes, carrying the Lord’s living presence within their hearts.
