નાનોદરુના ચતુરભાઇ ઠક્કર અને તેમનું અક્ષરધામ ગમન
ગામ દેવધોલેરાના થડમાં એક ગાઉ છેટે ગામ નાનોદરુ છે ત્યાંના હરિભક્ત ઠક્કર ચતુરભાઈ માંદા થયા, તે પછી બીજા દિવસે તેણે પોતાના બાપને કહ્યું, “શ્રીજીમહારાજ મને દર્શન દઈને કહી ગયા છે કે “પરમ દહાડે, તને તેડી જાશું, માટે દેવધોલેરામાં સાધુનું મંડળ છે તેને આંહી તેડાવો.'
પછી તે છોકરાના બાપે માણસ મોકલીને સાધુને તેડાવ્યા તે આવ્યા ત્યારે તેને માલપુવાની રસોઈ આપી ને જમાડ્યા. પછી ઘેર બોલાવ્યા ત્યારે સાધુ આગળ ચતુર બોલ્યો જે, ‘‘મને આવતી કાલે મહારાજ તેડવા આવશે, માટે હું પાંચસો રૂપિયા ધોળકાના મંદિરમાં દઉં છું ને એક હજાર રૂપિયા છે તે મારી સ્ત્રીના. એમ કહીને સાધુને ધોતીયાં ઓઢાડ્યાં ને પગે લાગ્યા ને કહ્યું, ‘મારે માથે દયા રાખજો.’’ પછી સાધુ મંદિરમાં ગયા ને ચતુરે પોતાનો ખાટલો ઓરડામાં ઢળાવ્યો ને તેના બાપને તથા ભાઈને કહ્યું, “આો ઓરડામાં કોઈ બાઈ માણસને આવવા દેશો નહિ ને મારા વાંસે ધોળકાના મંદિરમાં રસોઈ દેજો ને હે બાપા ! “આ મેં પુન્ય કર્યું છે તેથી તમે સહુ રાજી છો કે નહિ ?’’ ત્યારે તે સહુ બોલ્યા “અમે સહુ રાજી છીએ’’ પછી ચતુરે શીરો કરાવ્યો તે સહુ ભેગા બેસીને જમ્યા.
બીજે દિવસે મહારાજ તેડવા આવ્યા ત્યારે સહુ કીર્તન બોલવા માંડ્યા. તે વખતે મહારાજની મૂર્તિમાં વૃત્તિ રાખીને ચતુર દેહ મુકીને ધામમાં ગયો.

नानोदरु के चतुरभाई ठक्कर और उनका अक्षरधाम गमन
गाँव देवधोलेरा के समीप लगभग एक गाऊ की दूरी पर नानोदरु गाँव स्थित है। वहाँ के निष्ठावान हरिभक्त ठक्कर चतुरभाई एक बार अस्वस्थ हुए। बीमारी के दूसरे दिन उन्होंने अपने पिता से कहा, “श्रीजी महाराज ने मुझे साक्षात दर्शन देकर कहा है कि ‘परसों हम तुम्हें अपने धाम ले जाने आएँगे; अतः देवधोलेरा में जो संतों का मंडल विराजमान है, उन्हें यहाँ आमंत्रित करो।’”
तत्पश्चात चतुरभाई के पिता ने एक व्यक्ति को भेजकर संतों को आदरपूर्वक बुलवाया। जब संत पधारे, तो उन्हें मालपुआ की प्रसादी रसोई बनाकर प्रेमपूर्वक जिमाया। इसके बाद जब संतों को घर पर बुलाया गया, तब संतों के सम्मुख चतुरभाई बोले, “कल मुझे महाराज धाम ले जाने के लिए पधारेंगे, इसलिए मैं पाँच सौ रुपये धोळका मंदिर में सेवा-भेंट देता हूँ और एक हजार रुपये मेरी पत्नी के हैं।” ऐसा कहकर उन्होंने संतों को धोती ओढ़ाई (वस्त्र अर्पण किए), उनके चरण स्पर्श किए और प्रार्थना की, “मुझ पर सदा अपनी कृपा बनाए रखिएगा।”
इसके बाद संत मंदिर चले गए। चतुरभाई ने अपनी खाट कमरे के भीतर डलवाई और अपने पिता तथा भाई से कहा, “इस कमरे में किसी भी स्त्री को मत आने दीजिएगा। और मेरे धाम गमन के बाद धोळका मंदिर में संतों को रसोई (भोजन-प्रसाद) कराइएगा। और हे पिताजी! मैंने जो यह सत्कर्म (पुण्य) किया है, उससे आप सभी प्रसन्न हैं न?” तब सभी ने एक स्वर में कहा, “हम सभी अत्यंत प्रसन्न हैं।” इसके बाद चतुरभाई ने शीरा बनवाया और सभी ने साथ बैठकर प्रेमपूर्वक प्रसाद ग्रहण किया।
अगले दिन जब श्रीजी महाराज दिव्य स्वरूप में उन्हें लेने पधारे, तब सभी उपस्थित जन भावविभोर होकर कीर्तन गाने लगे। उस पावन घड़ी में श्रीजी महाराज की दिव्य मूर्ति में अपनी वृत्ति को एकाग्र करते हुए चतुरभाई ने नश्वर देह का त्याग किया और परम अक्षरधाम के निवासी बन गए।

Chaturbhai Thakkar of Nanodaru and His Departure to Akshardham
About one gau (approximately two miles) away from the village of Dev Dholera lies the village of Nanodaru. There lived a devoted spiritual aspirant named Thakkar Chaturbhai. Once, he fell ill. The following day, he said to his father, “Shriji Maharaj granted me His divine darshan and promised, ‘The day after tomorrow, We shall come to escort you to Akshardham. Therefore, invite the assembly of sadhus currently residing in Dev Dholera here.’”
Thereupon, his father sent a messenger to respectfully invite the sadhus. When the sadhus arrived, they were lovingly served a sanctified meal of malpuas. Later, when the sadhus were invited to the house, Chaturbhai spoke before them, “Tomorrow, Maharaj will personally come to escort me to Akshardham. Therefore, I offer five hundred rupees as a devotional donation to the Dholka Mandir, and one thousand rupees belong to my wife.” Saying this, he reverently offered dhotis to the sadhus, bowed at their lotus feet, and prayed, “Please shower your divine grace upon me.”
The sadhus then returned to the mandir. Chaturbhai had his cot placed inside a separate room and instructed his father and brother: “Please do not allow any women to enter this room. Furthermore, after my departure, sponsor a sacred feast (rasoi) for the sadhus at the Dholka Mandir. And O respected father! Are you all pleased with this pious act of charity that I have performed?” They all replied wholeheartedly, “We are all deeply pleased.” Afterwards, Chaturbhai had sweet shiro prepared, and all the family members sat together and partook of the prasad.
The next day, when Shriji Maharaj arrived in all His divine splendor to take him to Akshardham, everyone began singing sacred kirtans with great devotion. At that supreme moment, keeping his consciousness (vritti) steadfastly absorbed in the divine murti of Maharaj, Chaturbhai relinquished his mortal frame and ascended to the eternal Akshardham.
