વડતાલના રતના કડીયા અને અક્ષરધામનો અનુભવ
શ્રીજીમહારાજ વડતાલમાં લક્ષ્મીનારાયણ દેવનું મંદિર કરાવતા હતા. ત્યાં બોરડી નીચે એક મોટો પથ્થર હતો તે ઉપર આઠ વડી ધાબળી પાથરીને વિરાજમાન હતા. પછી હરે. .. થયા એટલે સૌ સંત તથા કડીયા જમવા ગયા. એ વખતે રતનો કરીને કડીયો હતો તેણે ઘણા દિવસથી સંકલ્પ કરેલ જે, “ક્યારેક શ્રીજીમહારાજ એકાંત માં મળે તો મારે પૂછવું છે.’ પછી તે વખતે શ્રીજીમહારાજને તેણે પૂછ્યું જે, “હે મહારાજ ! અત્યારે અક્ષરધામમાં શ્રીજીમહારાજ શું કરતા હશે ?”
ત્યારે મહારાજ હસ્યા ને કહે, “રતના, અત્યારે અક્ષરધામમાં બોરડી નીચે મોટું બેલું છે, તે ઉપર આઠ વડી ધાબળી કરીને પાથરીને તે ઉપર ભગવાન વિરાજમાન છે, અને લક્ષ્મીનારાયણ દેવના મંદિર કરાવે છે.” રતનો કહે, “મહારાજ ! હું તો અક્ષરધામનું પૂછું છું. ” ત્યારે મહારાજ કહે, “રતના, મેં અક્ષરધામની જ વાત કરી છે.” એમ બે-ચારવાર પૂછ્યું, પણ મહારાજે એ જ ઉત્તર આપ્યો.
પછી થોડીવારે માણસની હરફર થઈ એટલે રતનો કડીયો પથરા ઘડવા મંડ્યો. પછી રાત્રીએ સદગુરુ મુક્તાનંદસ્વામીને આસને રતના કડીયાએ જઈને વાત કરી જે, “મેં મહારાજને પૂછ્યું , ત્યારે મહારાજે મને આવો જવાબ આપ્યો.” પછી સ્વામી બોલ્યા જે, “રતના ! તારું ભાગ્ય મોટું જે તને મહારાજે આવી વાત કરી. અત્યારે અક્ષરધામમાં જે ભગવાન છે તે જ આ શ્રીજીમહારાજ છે માટે ભગવાન જે લીલા કરે છે તે જ અક્ષરધામની લીલા છે.” એમ કહી સ્વામીએ રતના કડીયાને મહારાજનું સર્વોપરી પણું સમજાવ્યું.

वडताल के रत्ना कड़िया और अक्षरधाम की अनुभूति
श्रीजी महाराज वडताल में श्री लक्ष्मीनारायण देव के मंदिर का निर्माण करवा रहे थे। वहाँ बेर के वृक्ष (बोरडी) के नीचे एक बड़ा शिलाखंड (पत्थर) रखा था, जिस पर आठ परतों में मोड़ा हुआ एक कंबल बिछाकर वे दिव्य रूप से विराजमान थे। दोपहर में जब भोजन की पुकार हुई, तब समस्त संत तथा कारीगर (कड़िया) भोजन के लिए चले गए।
उस समय रत्ना नाम के एक राजमिस्त्री (कड़िया) थे, जिन्होंने कई दिनों से मन में यह संकल्प कर रखा था कि, “जब कभी श्रीजी महाराज एकांत में मिलेंगे, तब मुझे उनसे एक प्रश्न पूछना है।” उस अवसर पर उन्होंने श्रीजी महाराज से विनीत भाव से पूछा, “हे महाराज! इस समय अक्षरधाम में श्रीजी महाराज क्या कर रहे होंगे?”
तब महाराज मंद-मंद मुस्कुराए और बोले, “रत्ना! इस समय अक्षरधाम में बेर के पेड़ के नीचे एक बड़ा पत्थर है, उस पर आठ परतों में कंबल बिछा है, जिस पर साक्षात् भगवान विराजमान हैं और वे लक्ष्मीनारायण देव का मंदिर बनवा रहे हैं।” रत्ना ने कहा, “महाराज! मैं तो परम धाम अक्षरधाम की बात पूछ रहा हूँ!” तब महाराज ने पुनः वही कहा, “रत्ना! मैंने भी तो अक्षरधाम की ही बात कही है।” इस प्रकार उसने दो-तीन बार पूछा, किंतु महाराज ने हर बार यही उत्तर दिया।
थोड़ी देर बाद जब लोगों की आवाजाही शुरू हुई, तब रत्ना कड़िया पत्थर तराशने लगा। रात्रि के समय रत्ना कड़िया ने सद्गुरु मुक्तानंद स्वामी के आसन पर जाकर बात की कि, “स्वामी! मैंने एकांत में महाराज से प्रश्न पूछा था, तब महाराज ने मुझे ऐसा उत्तर दिया।” तब मुक्तानंद स्वामी बोले, “रत्ना! तेरा परम सौभाग्य है कि महाराज ने तुझे यह बात कही! इस समय जो भगवान अक्षरधाम में हैं, वे साक्षात् यही श्रीजी महाराज हैं; इसलिए भगवान जो-जो लीला करते हैं, वही साक्षात् अक्षरधाम की लीला है!” इस प्रकार कहकर स्वामी ने रत्ना कड़िया को श्रीजी महाराज के सर्वोपरि स्वरूप की यथार्थ महिमा समझाई।

Ratna Kadiya of Vadtal and the Revelation of Akshardham
Supreme Lord Shriji Maharaj was overseeing the construction of the Lakshminarayan Dev Mandir in Vadtal. Beneath a jujube tree (bordi), there was a large stone slab on which a blanket folded in eight layers was spread, upon which Maharaj sat gracefully. Around midday, when the call for meals was sounded, all the sadhus and masons (kadiyas) departed to take their meals.
At that time, there was a mason named Ratna, who had cherished a resolution in his heart for many days: “Whenever I find Shriji Maharaj in solitude, I wish to ask Him a question.” Finding Maharaj alone at that moment, he humbly inquired, “O Maharaj! What might Shriji Maharaj be doing in Akshardham right now?”
Shriji Maharaj smiled and replied, “Ratna, right now in Akshardham, beneath a jujube tree, there is a large stone slab with an eight-fold blanket spread over it, upon which Bhagwan is seated, overseeing the construction of Lakshminarayan Dev Mandir.” Ratna said, “Maharaj! I am asking about the eternal abode of Akshardham!” Maharaj reaffirmed, “Ratna, I have spoken to you of Akshardham alone.” Ratna asked two or three times, but Maharaj gave the exact same answer every time.
A short while later, as people began moving about, Ratna resumed his work of chiseling stones. That night, Ratna Kadiya went to the seat of Sadguru Muktanand Swami and recounted the event: “Swami, I asked Maharaj a question today, and Maharaj gave me such an answer.” Swami then rejoiced and said, “Ratna! Great indeed is your fortune that Maharaj revealed this to you! The Supreme Lord who resides in Akshardham is none other than this manifest Shriji Maharaj; therefore, whichever divine lilas Bhagwan performs here are the very lilas of Akshardham!” In this way, Muktanand Swami explained the supreme, all-transcending divinity of Shriji Maharaj to Ratna Kadiya.
