સાતપડાના ભગોભગત અને શ્રીજી મહારાજનો પરચો
ગામ સાતપડાના ભગોભગત હતા. તેણે એવો સંકલ્પ કર્યો જે, “હું સ્વામિનારાયણના દર્શને જાઉં અને તેમની ડૂંટી ઉપર રૂપિયો મેલવા દે તો ભગવાન ખરા.’ પછી તે ગઢપુર આવ્યો અને સભાથી છેટે લીમડા નીચે ઊભો રહ્યો. પછી શ્રીજીમહારાજ ઢોલિયા ઉપર વિરાજમાન હતા તે આડે પડખે થયા.
ત્યારે મુક્તાનંદસ્વામી બોલ્યા જે, “મહારાજ ! કેમ આડે પડખે થયા ?” મહારાજે કહ્યું, “આ ઓલ્યો ભગલો ક્યારનો ઊભો ઉભો સંકલ્પ કરે છ કે ‘સ્વામિનારાયણ ડૂંટી ઉપર રુપીયો મેલવા દીયે તો ભગવાન સાચા’. આવ ભગલા, મેલ મારી ડૂંટી ઉપર રૂપિયો.” પછી ભગાભગતે આવી મહારાજની ડૂંટી ઉપર રૂપિયો મેલ્યો. પછી મહારાજને કહ્યું જે, “તમે ભગવાન ખરા, માટે મને વર્તમાન ધરાવો.” પછી વર્તમાન ધારી સત્સંગી થયો.

सातपड़ा के भगाभगत और श्रीजी महाराज का दिव्य परचा
सातपड़ा गाँव के निवासी भगाभगत के मन में एक बार ऐसा संकल्प (विचार) उठा कि, “मैं गढ़पुर जाकर स्वामिनारायण भगवान के दर्शन करूँ, और यदि वे मुझे अपनी नाभि (डूंटी) पर एक रुपया रखने दें, तब मैं मानूँगा कि वे साक्षात् भगवान हैं!”
ऐसा विचार लेकर वे गढ़पुर आए और सत्संग सभा से कुछ दूर एक नीम के वृक्ष के नीचे चुपचाप खड़े रहे। उस समय सर्वेश्वर श्रीजी महाराज सभा में ढोलिए (पलंग) पर विराजमान थे। अचानक श्रीजी महाराज ढोलिए पर करवट बदलकर (एक ओर झुककर) लेट गए।
तब सद्गुरु मुक्तानंद स्वामी ने विनीत भाव से पूछा, “हे महाराज! आप अचानक ऐसे करवट लेकर क्यों लेट गए?” अंतर्यामी श्रीजी महाराज ने मुस्कुराते हुए कहा, “स्वामी! वह दूर नीम के नीचे खड़ा भगला (भगाभगत) कब से मन में यह संकल्प कर रहा है कि ‘यदि स्वामिनारायण अपनी नाभि पर रुपया रखने दें, तभी वे सच्चे भगवान हैं’। अरे भगला! आ, मेरी नाभि पर रुपया रख दे!”
अपने मन की गुप्त बात साक्षात् प्रभु के मुख से सुनते ही भगाभगत का संशय क्षण भर में दूर हो गया। वे विस्मय और श्रद्धा से गद्गद होकर आगे आए और श्रीजी महाराज की पावन नाभि पर रुपया रखा। तत्पश्चात उन्होंने हाथ जोड़कर प्रार्थना की, “हे प्रभु! आप ही साक्षात् परमेश्वर हैं। कृपा कर मुझे वर्तमान धराइए (सत्संग के पंच वर्तमान के नियम दीजिए)।” तब श्रीजी महाराज ने उन्हें वर्तमान ग्रहण कराकर निष्ठावान सत्संगी बनाया।

Bhago Bhagat of Satpada and Shriji Maharaj’s Omniscience
In the village of Satpada lived a devotee named Bhago Bhagat. Once, a persistent thought (sankalpa) arose in his mind: “I shall go to Gadhpur for the darshan of Lord Swaminarayan. If He allows me to place a silver rupee coin upon His navel (dunti), only then will I believe that He is truly God!”
Harboring this secret test in his heart, he arrived in Gadhpur and stood quietly at a distance under a neem tree, observing the spiritual assembly. At that time, Lord Shriji Maharaj was seated upon an ornate wooden cot (dholiyo). Suddenly, Shriji Maharaj reclined onto His side.
Seeing this, Sadguru Muktanand Swami respectfully inquired, “Maharaj! Why have You suddenly reclined onto Your side?” Knowing the innermost thoughts of all as the omniscient Lord (Antaryami), Shriji Maharaj replied with a smile, “Swami! That Bhaglo standing over there under the neem tree has been resolving in his mind for a long time: ‘If Swaminarayan permits me to place a rupee coin upon His navel, only then is He truly God.’ Come forward, Bhagla! Place your rupee coin upon My navel!”
Hearing his innermost thoughts revealed word for word by the Lord, Bhago Bhagat was filled with profound reverence and wonder. He immediately stepped forward and placed the rupee coin upon Shriji Maharaj’s sacred navel. With folded hands and deep humility, he prayed, “O Maharaj! You are indeed the Supreme Lord! Please bestow upon me the sacred vows of Satsang (vartman).” Shriji Maharaj then initiated him into the moral codes of Satsang, transforming him into an ardent and faithful devotee.
