ખોરાસાના આહીર રાજા ડાંગરે પત્નીની અસત્સંગી વૃત્તિ જાણી કાગળ લખાવી સંસારત્યાગ, શ્રીહરિની આજ્ઞાથી અગતરાઈમાં પર્વતભાઈનું ૧૨ વર્ષ સુધી સાંતી હાંકી અખંડ આજ્ઞાપાલન.
ખોરાસા ગામના આહીર ખેડૂત રાજાભાઈ ડાંગર શ્રીહરિના અનન્ય નિશ્ચયી ભક્ત હતા. તેમણે ગામના સત્સંગી વાણિયાને કહી રાખેલું કે સાધુ આવે ત્યારે મારા ઘેરથી સીધું લઈ જમાડવા. એક દિવસ રાજાભાઈ વાડીએ ગયા ત્યારે સાધુ આવ્યા. વાણિયો સીધું લેવા ગયો તો રાજાભાઈની પત્નીએ લોટ દળી આપવાનો નન્નો ભણ્યો કે “સાધુ તો રોજ આવે, મારે ક્યાં નવરાશ છે!” વાણિયાએ દુકાનેથી રસોઈ કરાવી સાધુને જમાડ્યા. સાંજે મંદિરે આ વાત જાણી રાજાભાઈ સમજી ગયા કે ઘરમાં અસત્સંગી સ્ત્રી સાથે નિર્વાહ કલ્યાણકારી નથી.
રાજાભાઈએ વાણિયા પાસે સાસરેથી ખોટો કાગળ લખાવ્યો કે: “તમારા ભાઈ અત્યંત બીમાર છે, માટે આ કાગળ વાંચી તરત પિયર આવો.” સવારે કાગળ સાંભળતાં જ પત્ની ઘરેણાં ઘડાવવાની વાત પડતી મૂકી, બે રોટલા બાંધી બાળકને લઈ પિયર ચાલી નીકળી. પત્ની જતાં જ રાજાભાઈએ માતાને કહ્યું: “મા! હવે સંસાર હરામ છે; આપણે ગઢપુર જવું છે.” માતા પણ સંમત થયાં. ઘરને તાળું મારી, ચાવી અને ખેતરના દસ્તાવેજ ભાઈઓને સોંપી રાજાભાઈ માતા સાથે ગઢપુર પહોંચ્યા.
સભામાં શ્રીહરિના ચરણોમાં પડી રાજાભાઈએ સાધુ થવાની પ્રાર્થના કરી. શ્રીજીમહારાજે પૂછ્યું: “રાજાભાઈ! તમારે સાધુ થવું છે કે અમે કહીએ તેમ કરવું છે?” રાજાભાઈએ કહ્યું: “પ્રભુ! આપ જેમ રાજી થાઓ તેમ જ કરવું છે.” શ્રીહરિએ આજ્ઞા કરી: “તમારી માતા મોટીબાની સેવામાં રહે અને તમે અગતરાઈ જઈ મુક્તરાજ પર્વતભાઈના પુત્રો મોટા થાય ત્યાં સુધી તેમનું સાંતી હાંકો!”
રાજાભાઈએ પ્રભુની આજ્ઞા શિરોધાર્ય કરી અગતરાઈમાં પર્વતભાઈના સાથી બની ખેતી શરૂ કરી. પર્વતભાઈએ ગઢપુર દર્શને જવાનું કહ્યું ત્યારે પણ તેમણે નમ્રતાથી કહ્યું: “જ્યાં સુધી મહારાજ બોલાવવાની આજ્ઞા ન કરે ત્યાં સુધી દર્શને આવવાથી સાંતી ખોટી થાય!” પોતાનું ખેતર તે જ સીમમાં હોવા છતાં, બાર વર્ષ સુધી પોતાના ખેતર સામે જોયા વિના કેવળ શ્રીહરિની આજ્ઞાએ પર્વતભાઈનું સાંતી હાંકી પરમ રાજીપો પ્રાપ્ત કર્યો.

खोरासा के आहिर कृषक राजाभाई डांगर श्रीहरि के निष्ठावान भक्त थे। जब उनकी पत्नी ने संतों हेतु आटा पीसने से मना कर दिया, तो राजाभाई ने सांसारिक मोह त्यागने का निश्चय किया। उन्होंने युक्तिपूर्वक पत्नी के मायके से भाई की बीमारी का काल्पनिक पत्र लिखवाकर उसे मायके भेज दिया।
पत्नी के जाते ही राजाभाई घर की चाबियां व खेत भाइयों को सौंपकर माता सहित गढपुर पहुंचे और साधु बनने की प्रार्थना की। श्रीजीमहाराज ने पूछा: “साधु बनना है या हमारी आज्ञा में रहना है?” राजाभाई ने कहा: “जैसी आपकी आज्ञा!” प्रभु ने उन्हें अगतराई जाकर भक्त प्रवर पर्वतभाई के खेत में हल चलाने की आज्ञा दी।
राजाभाई ने प्रभु की आज्ञा को शिरोधार्य किया। निकट ही अपना खेत होते हुए भी, १२ वर्षों तक उसकी ओर देखे बिना, केवल श्रीहरि की आज्ञा के पालन हेतु पर्वतभाई के खेत में अनवरत हल चलाकर सर्वोच्च आज्ञापालन का आदर्श प्रस्तुत किया।

Khorasa Raja Dangar Parvatbhai Santi
In the village of Khorasa lived an Ahir farmer named Raja Dangar, a steadfast devotee of Bhagwan Swaminarayan. He had instructed a local Satsangi grocer to draw provisions from his home whenever traveling sadhus visited. Once, while Raja was working on his farm, visiting ascetics arrived. When the grocer went to collect provisions, Raja’s wife refused to grind wheat, scoffing: “Sadhus arrive every other day; I have no spare time for this!” The grocer arranged food from his own shop. Returning home in the evening and learning of his wife’s contempt for saints, Raja realized that living tied to worldly attachments was detrimental to liberation.
Devising a clever plan, Raja had the grocer draft a letter purportedly from his in-laws stating that his wife’s brother was gravely ill and she must rush to her maternal home immediately. Hearing the letter, she abandoned all interest in new gold jewelry, wrapped two flatbreads, and hurried away with her infant. The moment she departed, Raja told his mother: “Mother! This worldly life is vanity; we are departing for Gadhpur today!” His pious mother readily agreed. Locking his house, Raja entrusted the keys and land title deeds to his brothers, placed his mother in a bullock cart, and journeyed to Gadhpur.
Prostrating before Shreeji Maharaj in the assembly, Raja pleaded for ascetic initiation. Shreehari probed: “Raja! Do you desire to become a sadhu, or do as We command?” Raja surrendered completely: “O Lord! Whatever brings You divine pleasure, that alone I shall do.” Shreehari commanded: “Let your mother serve Motiba in the court, and you shall go to Agatrai to plow the fields for Muktaraj Parvatbhai until his young sons come of age!”
Revering the divine command as supreme, Raja arrived in Agatrai and labored as an obedient plowman on Parvatbhai’s farm. Even when Parvatbhai invited him to visit Gadhpur for darshan, Raja humbly replied: “Unless Shreeji Maharaj explicitly summons me, leaving the field would interrupt the plowing commanded by my Lord!” Though his own ancestral lands lay in the neighboring boundary, for twelve continuous years he never even glanced toward his own property, plowing Parvatbhai’s fields in unbroken obedience to earn Shreehari’s supreme grace!
