ઘોડાસર પાદર રાજકુંવરનું ‘બાપો આવ્યા’ કહી શ્રીહરિને ઘોડી આપવી, ડભાણમાં રાજમાતાનું સંશય નિવારણ અને શ્રીહરિના જમણા કાનની બુટ્ટી પર તલ જોઈ સત્સંગી બનવું.
શ્રીજીમહારાજ મૂળજી બ્રહ્મચારી સાથે ઘોડાસરના પાદરે થઈ ડભાણ જતા હતા. ગામના પાદરે રમતા ઘોડાસરના રાજાના કુંવરે શ્રીહરિને જોઈ પોકાર્યું: “બાપો આવ્યા… બાપો આવ્યા!” શ્રીહરિએ રમુજથી કહ્યું: “બાપો તો પાછળ આવે છે.” પાછળથી ખભે ખડિયો અને હાથમાં લાકડીવાળા મૂળજી બ્રહ્મચારી આવ્યા તો કુંવરે તેમને પણ ‘બાપો આવ્યા’ કહ્યા. બ્રહ્મચારીએ કહ્યું: “બાપો તો આગળ ગયા, હું તો સેવક છું.” કુંવર તુરંત ઘોડી દોડાવી શ્રીહરિ પાસે પહોંચ્યો અને હઠ કરી: “તમે જ બાપો છો, ઘોડી પર ચડી જાઓ!” શ્રીહરિ ઘોડી પર સવાર થઈ પછેડી જેટલા કુંડાળામાં ઘોડી ફેરવી ડભાણ પધાર્યા અને કુંવર પણ સાથે ડભાણ ગયો.
ઘોડાસરમાં રાજમાતાને જાણ થઈ કે સ્વામિનારાયણ તેમના કુંવરને ડભાણ લઈ ગયા છે અને કદાચ કામણટૂમણ કરી સાધુ બનાવી દેશે! રાજમાતા પાલખીમાં ચોપદાર અને મશાલો સાથે રાત્રે ડભાણ પહોંચ્યાં. મનમાં સંકલ્પ કર્યો કે: “જો સ્વામિનારાયણ અંતર્યામી હોય અને મારા મનની વાત જાણી તેમના જમણા કાનની બુટ્ટી પર તલનું ચિહ્ન બતાવે, તો જ તેમને સાચા ભગવાન માનું!”
ડભાણમાં શ્રીહરિ સભા ભરીને બેઠા હતા. સ્ત્રીને આવતાં જોઈ વૈરાગ્યનિષ્ઠ સંતો ઊભા થઈ જવા લાગ્યા, ત્યારે મુક્તાનંદ સ્વામી બોલ્યા: “મહારાજ! ઊઠો, આ બાઈ આપણને ઉપવાસ કરાવશે!” રાજમાતા બોલ્યાં: “મહારાજ, બેસો! હું પણ આપના જેવી ત્યાગી જ છું.” સર્વજ્ઞ શ્રીજીમહારાજે દીવી મંગાવી રાજમાતા પાસે જઈ અંતર્યામીપણે કહ્યું: “માતાજી! જુઓ તો ખરા, મારી જમણા કાનની બુટ્ટી પર કંઈ થયું છે?”
દીવીના અજવાળામાં શ્રીહરિના જમણા કાનની બુટ્ટી પર સાક્ષાત કાળો તલ જોતાં જ રાજમાતા ગદ્ગદ થઈ બોલી ઊઠ્યાં: “મારા દીકરાએ સાચા ભગવાન ઓળખ્યા છે!” તેમણે સંશય ત્યજી તુરંત વર્તમાન ધારણ કર્યા અને સત્સંગી બન્યાં.

घोड़ासर के पादर से गुजरते समय राजा के बालक कुंवर ने श्रीजीमहाराज को देखकर “बापो आव्या (पिताजी आए)” पुकारा और अपनी घोड़ी प्रभु को समर्पित कर स्वयं उनके साथ डभाण चला गया।
राजमाता को जब ज्ञात हुआ कि उनका पौत्र डभाण चला गया है, तो वे आशंकित होकर पालकी में डभाण पहुंचीं। उन्होंने मन में संकल्प किया कि यदि स्वामिनारायण उनके मन का संकल्प जानकर अपने दाहिने कान की लोलक (बुट्टी) पर तिल का चिह्न दिखाएं, तभी वे उन्हें ईश्वर मानेंगी।
डभाण में सभा में श्रीहरि ने दीपक मंगवाकर स्वयं राजमाता के सम्मुख जाकर कहा: “माताजी! देखिए तो सही, मेरे दाहिने कान की बुट्टी पर क्या हुआ है?” दीपक के प्रकाश में तिल का स्पष्ट दर्शन होते ही राजमाता का संशय दूर हो गया। वे बोल उठीं: “मेरे पौत्र ने साक्षात भगवान को पहचाना है!” उन्होंने तत्काल पंचवर्तमान अंगीकार किए।

Ghodasar Rajkumar Dabhan Ear Mole
Passing through the outskirts of Ghodasar toward Dabhan with Mulji Brahmachari, Bhagwan Swaminarayan was spotted by the young prince of Ghodasar playing with other children. Recognizing something divine, the prince cried out: “Bapo aavya… Bapo aavya! (Our Father has arrived!)” Shreehari playfully deflected: “Bapo is coming behind.” When bearded Mulji Brahmachari arrived carrying the ascetic satchel, the prince repeated the greeting. Brahmachari replied: “Bapo walked ahead; I am merely His servant.” Leaping upon his mare, the prince galloped after Shreehari, insisting He mount the horse. Shreehari mounted the mare, trotted her effortlessly within the tight radius of a single shawl, and rode toward Dabhan with the joyful prince.
Back in Ghodasar, the Queen Mother panicked, fearing the ascetic had lured the royal heir away to make him a sadhu. Setting out by palanquin with torchbearers and guards, she arrived at Dabhan that night. She made an internal vow: “If Swaminarayan is truly omniscient God, He must divine my unspoken thought and show me a dark mole upon His right ear-lobe!”
As she approached the midnight assembly, ascetics moved away to maintain their monastic vows. Muktanand Swami cautioned: “Maharaj, let us retire, else this woman’s approach will necessitate a fast!” The Queen Mother called out: “Do not leave, Maharaj; I too am a detached widow like you!” Omniscient Shreeji Maharaj asked for a lamp, walked gently toward her, and revealed: “Mother! Please examine what mark has formed upon My right ear-lobe.”
Beholding the distinct, dark mole upon Shreehari’s right ear-lobe in the lamp’s golden glow, the Queen Mother wept in devotional conviction: “My grandson has recognized the true Lord of the universe!” Eradicating all skepticism, she accepted sacred vows and became an ardent Satsangi.
