જૂનાગઢ મંદિરના ચોગાનમાંથી પસાર થતી રેલવે લાઈન હટાવવા સદગુરુ યોગેશ્વરદાસ સ્વામી અને મહાપુરુષદાસ સ્વામીના આશીર્વાદથી દીવાન હરિદાસને પુત્રપ્રાપ્તિ અને પાટાનું સ્થળાંતર.
સંવત ૧૯૪૫માં સદગુરુ યોગેશ્વરદાસ સ્વામી જૂનાગઢ મંદિરનો વહીવટ સંભાળતા હતા. તે સમયે જૂનાગઢ રાજ્યમાં રેલવે લાઈન નાખવાનું કામ પૂરજોશમાં ચાલતું હતું. નવાબ અને અંગ્રેજ ઇજનેરો દ્વારા નક્કી થયેલો રેલવે ટ્રેક બરાબર સ્વામિનારાયણ મંદિરના ચોગાન પાસેથી નીકળતો હતો, જેનાથી ટ્રેનોના અવાજ અને ધુમાડાને કારણે મંદિરમાં કથા-કીર્તન અને ધ્યાનમાં મોટો વિક્ષેપ ઊભો થવાની શક્યતા હતી. રેલવેનું કાર્ય રાજ્યના દીવાન હરિદાસ વિહારીદાસ દેસાઈ સંભાળતા હતા, જેઓ સજ્જન હરિભક્ત પણ હતા.
યોગેશ્વરદાસ સ્વામી અને જૂનાગઢના સમાધિનિષ્ઠ જોગી સદગુરુ મહાપુરુષદાસજી સ્વામીએ દીવાન હરિદાસને મંદિરે બોલાવ્યા. રાધારમણ દેવનો પ્રસાદીનો હાર પહેરાવી સ્વામીએ વિનંતી કરી: “દીવાનજી! આપ પરોપકારી છો, આ રેલવે લાઈન મંદિરથી થોડી દૂર ખસેડી આપો તો સંતો-હરિભક્તો સુખેથી ભજન કરી શકે.” દીવાનજીએ જણાવ્યું કે અંગ્રેજોની મોજણી થઈ ચૂકી છે અને ધોરાજી સુધી પાટા નંખાઈ ગયા હોવાથી ફેરફાર અત્યંત કઠિન છે.
તે સમયે સાથે આવેલા હરિભક્ત હેમાભાઈએ જણાવ્યું કે દીવાનજીને કોઈ સંતાન નથી. યોગેશ્વરદાસ સ્વામીએ વચન આપ્યું: “દીવાનજી! જો આપ રેલવેના પાટા બદલશો, તો શ્રીજીમહારાજ આપના નસીબના પાટા પણ બદલી દેશે અને આપને ઘેર પુત્રપ્રાપ્તિ થશે!” સદગુરુ મહાપુરુષદાસજી સ્વામીએ આશીર્વાદ આપ્યા: “શ્રીહરિ અને સંતોની કૃપાથી બે પુત્રો થશે, તેમનાં નામ ‘સંતદાસ’ અને ‘સ્વામીદાસ’ રાખજો!”
દીવાન હરિદાસે ભારે પ્રયાસો કરી રેલવે ટ્રેકનો નકશો બદલાવી મંદિરથી ઘણે દૂર કરાવી દીધો. સ્વામીના આશીર્વાદ ફળ્યા અને સમય જતાં દીવાનજીને ઘેર પુત્રોનો જન્મ થયો, જેમના નામ આશીર્વાદ મુજબ સંતદાસ અને સ્વામીદાસ રાખવામાં આવ્યા.

संवत १९४५ में जब जूनागढ़ में रेलवे लाइन बिछाने का कार्य चल रहा था, तब प्रस्तावित ट्रैक श्री स्वामिनारायण मंदिर के आंगन के समीप से गुजरने वाला था, जिससे मंदिर की शांति व भजन-कीर्तन में विघ्न पड़ता।
मंदिर के कोठारी सद्गुरु योगेश्वरदास स्वामी और समाधिनिष्ठ सद्गुरु महापुरुषदासजी स्वामी ने राज्य के दीवान हरिदास विहारीदास देसाई से ट्रैक को मंदिर से दूर हटाने का आग्रह किया। दीवानजी द्वारा कठिनाई व्यक्त करने पर योगेश्वरदास स्वामी ने आशीर्वाद दिया: “दीवानजी! आप रेल की पटरी बदलिए, श्रीजीमहाराज आपके भाग्य की पटरी बदल देंगे और आपको पुत्र-रत्न प्राप्त होगा!” महापुरुषदास स्वामी ने होने वाले पुत्रों के नाम ‘संतदास’ और ‘स्वामीदास’ रखने का निर्देश दिया।
दीवान हरिदास ने अथक प्रयास कर रेलवे लाइन का मार्ग मंदिर से दूर करा दिया। संतों का आशीर्वाद सत्य सिद्ध हुआ और दीवानजी के घर पुत्रों का जन्म हुआ, जिनके नाम संतदास और स्वामीदास रखे गए।

Junagadh Railway Track Divan Haridas
In Samvat 1845 (around 1887 CE), while Sadguru Yogeshwardas Swami managed the affairs of the historic Junagadh mandir, construction of the state railway line commenced. As surveyed by British engineers and the Junagadh State, the proposed railway track passed right adjacent to the temple courtyard, threatening to disrupt sacred rituals, devotional chanting, and silent meditation with continuous noise and steam engine soot. The state railway project was overseen by Diwan Haridas Viharidas Desai, a pious and respected statesman.
Sadguru Yogeshwardas Swami and the exalted yogic master Sadguru Mahapurushdasji Swami invited Diwan Haridas to the mandir. Garlanding him with the sanctified garland of Shree Radha-Raman Dev, Swami gently requested him to divert the railway line away from the temple precincts. The Diwan expressed that altering finalized British engineering surveys was nearly impossible.
Noticing that the Diwan was childless, Yogeshwardas Swami bestowed a divine prophecy: “Diwanji! If you alter the course of these railway tracks for God’s shrine, Shreeji Maharaj shall alter the course of your destiny and bless your household with sons!” Sadguru Mahapurushdasji Swami added: “By the grace of Shreehari and the saints, you shall be blessed with sons; name them ‘Santdas’ and ‘Swamidas’!”
Moved by this divine promise, Diwan Haridas utilized his diplomatic and administrative acumen to re-route the railway alignment well away from the temple grounds. True to the satpurushas’ benediction, the Diwan was blessed with healthy sons, whom he dutifully named Santdas and Swamidas.
