કારીયાણીથી ભાવનગર જતાં રોહીશાળામાં લક્ષ્મીરામ ઓઝાનું ભાવભર્યું આતિથ્ય અને ડભાણ યજ્ઞમાં ઘરનું ખાવાનું અનાજ વેચી સોળ રૂપિયા સમર્પિત કર્યાનું અમર ચરિત્ર.
વડતાલમાં પુષ્પદોલોત્સવ સંપન્ન કરી શ્રીહરિ અસ્વારો સાથે કારીયાણી પધાર્યા. સદગુરુ મુક્તાનંદ સ્વામી વયોવૃદ્ધ હોવાથી નિત્યાનંદ સ્વામીની વિનંતીથી શ્રીહરિની રસોઈ સેવા માટે શૂન્યાતીતાનંદ સ્વામી અને વૈકુંઠાનંદ બ્રહ્મચારી સાથે જોડાયા. કારીયાણીમાં વસ્તા ખાચરના દરબારમાં થાળ જમી શ્રીહરિએ ભાવનગર જવાનો સંકલ્પ જાહેર કર્યો અને કાઠી દરબારોને સાથે લીધા. માર્ગમાં ભાથું કે સીધો-સામાન લેવા અંગે શૂન્યાતીતાનંદ સ્વામીએ વિચાર કર્યો ત્યારે શ્રીહરિએ સુંદર બોધ આપ્યો: “ભાતાનું ને સીધાનું શું કામ, તે તો તૈયાર છે ગામોગામ…! સંત જો સંતનો ધર્મ પાળે, અન્ન આવી મળે સર્વ કાળે..! ધર્મમાં રહે છે નવનિધી, રહે ધર્મ વિષે અષ્ટસિદ્ધી..!”
શ્રીહરિ સંઘ સાથે રોહીશાળા ગામે પધાર્યા. રોહીશાળાના નિષ્ઠાવાન બ્રાહ્મણ ભક્ત લક્ષ્મીરામ ઓઝાએ સામૈયું કરી શ્રીહરિને પોતાના ઘેર પધરાવ્યા. શ્રીહરિ, સંતો અને સર્વે દરબારોને લાડુ, ભજીયાં, શાક અને દાળ-ભાતની ઉત્તમ રસોઈ પીરસી અતિ હેતથી જમાડ્યા. શ્રીહરિએ લક્ષ્મીરામ ઓઝાને બાથમાં લઈ આલિંગન આપ્યું.
આ એ જ પરમભક્ત લક્ષ્મીરામ ઓઝા હતા કે જેમણે સંવત ૧૮૬૬માં ડભાણમાં શ્રીહરિએ મહારુદ્ર યજ્ઞ કર્યો ત્યારે જવા માટે નાણાં ન હોવાથી પોતાના ઘરમાં આખું વર્ષ ખાવા માટે રાખેલું અનાજ વેચી દીધું હતું! તેમાંથી ઉપજેલા સોળ રૂપિયા લઈને તેઓ ડભાણ પહોંચ્યા અને શ્રીહરિના ચરણોમાં સર્વસ્વ સમર્પિત કરી દીધું. અંતર્યામી શ્રીહરિએ ભરી સભામાં તેમની પ્રશંસા કરતાં કહ્યું હતું: “આ ભક્તે પોતાના ખાવા માટે ઘરમાં અન્ન પણ ન રાખ્યું અને યજ્ઞ અર્થે સોળ રૂપિયા ભેટ ધર્યા; હવે આ યજ્ઞ નિર્વિઘ્ન સંપન્ન થશે અને લક્ષ્મીરામ ઘેર જશે ત્યારે લક્ષ્મીવાન બનશે, તેના યોગક્ષેમનું વહન અમે કરીશું!” પોતાના વચન મુજબ શ્રીહરિએ રોહીશાળામાં રાતવાસો કરી લક્ષ્મીરામ ઓઝા પર અમીવૃષ્ટિ વરસાવી.

वडताल में रंगोत्सव के पश्चात श्रीहरि कारियाणी पधारे और वहाँ से संतों व काठी दरबारों सहित भावनगर प्रस्थान किया। मार्ग में संतों को भोजन की चिंता करते देख प्रभु ने उपदेश दिया: “सच्चे संत के लिए सर्वत्र व्यवस्था स्वतः होती है; जो संत धर्म में रहता है, उसके पास नवों निधियाँ और अष्ट सिद्धियाँ स्वतः रहती हैं।”
मार्ग में रोहीशाला गाँव पहुँचने पर निष्ठावान ब्राह्मण लक्ष्मीराम ओझा ने प्रभु और समस्त संघ का भव्य स्वागत कर दिव्य भोजन कराया। श्रीहरि ने उन्हें हृदय से लगाया।
यह वही लक्ष्मीराम ओझा थे जिन्होंने संवत १८६६ में डभाण महायज्ञ के समय आर्थिक तंगी होने पर अपने घर का वर्षभर का अन्न बेचकर सोलह रुपये जुटाए थे और यज्ञ में समर्पित कर दिए थे! तब श्रीहरि ने भरी सभा में कहा था: “इस भक्त ने घर का अन्न बेचकर यज्ञ में सर्वस्व अर्पण किया है; हम इसके योग-क्षेम का सदा वहन करेंगे और इसे धन-धान्य से संपन्न करेंगे।” प्रभु ने अपने वचनानुसार रोहीशाला में रात्रि-विश्राम कर लक्ष्मीराम पर अपार अनुग्रह किया।

Kariyani Rohishala Laxmiram Ozha Dabhan Yagya
Concluding the Pushpadolotsav in Vadtal, Bhagwan Swaminarayan rode to Kariyani. Since Sadguru Muktanand Swami was advanced in age, Nityanand Swami assigned Shunyatitanand Swami and Vaikunthanand Brahmachari to accompany Shreehari for preparing daily sanctified meals (thal). Presiding at Vasta Khachar’s court, Shreehari announced His intention to travel toward Bhavnagar, inviting the Kathi chieftains. Observing Shunyatitanand Swami contemplating how to carry provisions and grains, Shreehari imparted profound spiritual wisdom: “Why worry about carrying dry provisions? Food is abundantly ready in every village! If an ascetic strictly upholds his saintly virtues, sustenance arrives effortlessly at all times; Within divine righteousness reside the nine treasures and the eight mystic perfections!”
The holy caravan arrived at Rohishala, where devout Brahmin devotee Laxmiram Ozha organized a joyful reception, hosting Shreehari, the sadhus, and the Kathi rulers at his residence. He served a lavish traditional feast of laddoos, savory fritters, spiced vegetables, dal, and rice with overflowing affection. Shreehari warmly embraced Laxmiram.
This was the very same Laxmiram Ozha who, during the monumental Dabhan Yagya in Samvat 1866, lacked money for offerings. In an act of supreme sacrifice, he sold his household’s year-round grain reserves for sixteen silver rupees and placed the entire sum at Shreehari’s lotus feet in Dabhan. At that time, omniscient Shreehari had proclaimed before the mammoth gathering: “This devotee kept no food at home, sacrificing everything for Our yagya! By his boundless sacrifice, this yagya shall conclude triumphantly, and when Laxmiram returns home, he shall be blessed with abundant prosperity; We shall personally bear his worldly and spiritual welfare (yoga-kshema)!” Fulfilling His divine promise, Shreehari rested overnight at Rohishala, pouring limitless grace upon Laxmiram Ozha.
