સંવત ૧૮૬૮ના ભયંકર દુષ્કાળમાં ખોલડિયાદના રૂડા સિંધવના ખેતરમાં શ્રીહરિએ વરસાવેલો વરસાદ, સોળ કળશી બાજરો અને લોયા શાકોત્સવમાં અર્પણ કરેલી અપ્રતિમ સેવા.
સંવત ૧૮૬૦માં શ્રીહરિ ઝાલાવાડમાં મેમકાં ગામે પધાર્યા ત્યારે હંસરાજભાઈ અને ભીમજીભાઈ સુથારના સત્સંગથી ખોલડિયાદના નાડોદા રાજપૂત સગાજી સિંધવ, અજાજી અને અજાજીના પુત્રો રૂડા સિંધવ તથા મૂળું સિંધવ શ્રીહરિના પરમ આશ્રિત બન્યા.
સંવત ૧૮૬૮માં ભક્તવત્સલ શ્રીહરિએ આગામી વર્ષે ભયંકર દુષ્કાળ (ઓગણોતરો) પડશે તેવી આગોતરી ચેતવણી આપી ભક્તોને અનાજ સંગ્રહવાની આજ્ઞા કરી. શ્રીહરિ ખોલડિયાદ રૂડા સિંધવના ઘેર પધાર્યા અને પૂછ્યું, “રૂડા ભગત! આવતા વર્ષે દુષ્કાળ પડશે, અનાજનું શું આયોજન છે?” ભગતે હાથ જોડી કહ્યું, “મહારાજ! ખાણમાં દાણા ખૂટી ગયા છે અને ખેતરમાં વાવેલો બાજરો વરસાદ વિના સુકાઈ રહ્યો છે.” ભક્તની લાચારી જોઈ અંતર્યામી શ્રીહરિએ પરચો કરી માત્ર રૂડા ભગતના ખેતરમાં મુશળધાર વરસાદ વરસાવ્યો! તે વર્ષે રૂડા ભગતને સોળ કળશી બાજરો પાક્યો. ભગતે ગઢપુર જઈ બાજરાનો પોંક શ્રીહરિના ચરણોમાં ધર્યો, જે શ્રીહરિ તથા મુક્તાનંદ સ્વામી વગેરે સંતોએ અતિ પ્રેમથી આરોગ્યો.
સંવત ૧૮૭૯માં જ્યારે શ્રીહરિએ લોયા ગામે સુરા ખાચરના દરબારમાં ઐતિહાસિક શાકોત્સવ કર્યો, ત્યારે ખોલડિયાદથી રૂડાભાઈ સિંધવ અને ખેંગારભાઈ સિંધવ પોતાની ભેંસોનું નવ મણ શુદ્ધ ઘી ગાડામાં ભરીને લોયા લાવ્યા. શ્રીહરિની આજ્ઞાથી બંને ભાઈઓએ અલાઉ ગામે જઈ સથવારા ખેડૂતની વાડીએથી ૭૦ મણ ઉત્તમ રીંગણાં ખરીદી લોયા પહોંચાડ્યાં. શ્રીહરિએ સ્વહસ્તે ૧૮ મણ ઘીનો વઘાર કરી રીંગણાંનું અદ્ભુત શાક બનાવ્યું, જે જમવા દેવતાઓ પણ સાધુવેશે પંક્તિમાં બેઠા હતા! સદગુરુ નિષ્કુળાનંદ સ્વામીએ ભક્તચિંતામણીમાં રૂડા સિંધવની અડગ ભક્તિને અમર કરતાં લખ્યું છે: “ખરા ભક્ત ખોલડિયાદ ગામ, જન સુતાર હંસરાજ નામ..! ક્ષત્રિ ખેંગાર રામો હમીર, મૂળો માંડણ રૂડો સુધીર..!!”

ખોલડિયાદના રૂડા સિંધવની દુષ્કાળમાં રક્ષા, બાજરાની અખૂટ કોઠી અને લોયા શાકોત્સવમાં ઘી-રીંગણાની સેવા
संवत १८६० में मेमकां में सुथार हंसराजभाई के संग से खोलडियाद के नाडोदा राजपूत रूड़ा सिंधव और उनका परिवार श्रीहरि के अनन्य भक्त बने।
संवत १८६८ में आगामी भीषण अकाल की पूर्व चेतावनी देते हुए श्रीहरि खोलडियाद में रूड़ा सिंधव के घर पधारे। रूड़ा भगत ने व्यथा बताई कि खेत में बोया गया बाजरा वर्षा के अभाव में सूख रहा है। कृपानिधान श्रीहरि ने चमत्कार करते हुए केवल रूड़ा भगत के खेत पर मूसलाधार वर्षा कराई, जिससे सोलह कलशी बाजरा उत्पन्न हुआ। रूड़ा भगत ने गढपुर जाकर बाजरे का पोंक प्रभु चरणों में समर्पित किया।
संवत १८७९ में जब लोया में ऐतिहासिक शाकोत्सव हुआ, तब रूड़ा सिंधव और खेंगार सिंधव नौ मन शुद्ध घी और अलाव गाँव से सत्तर मन बैंगन लेकर लोया पहुँचे। श्रीहरि ने अठारह मन घी का बघार लगाकर दिव्य शाक तैयार किया, जिसे पाने हेतु देवता भी साधु वेष में आए। सद्गुरु निष्कुलानंद स्वामी ने भक्तचिंतामणि में रूड़ा सिंधव की अविचल निष्ठा का यशोगान किया है।

Kholadiyad Ruda Sindhav Drought Loya
In Samvat 1860, through the spiritual association of Suthar Hansrajbhai in Memka, the Nadoda Rajput family of Kholadiyad—Sagaji Sindhav, Ajaji, and Ajaji’s sons Ruda Sindhav and Mulu Sindhav—embraced steadfast devotion to Bhagwan Swaminarayan.
In Samvat 1868, forewarning His devotees of an impending catastrophic famine, Shreehari visited Ruda Sindhav in Kholadiyad and inquired about his food reserves. With folded hands, Ruda confessed that his grain bins were exhausted and his standing millet crop was withering away under scorching drought. Moved by His devotee’s plight, omniscient Shreehari worked a wonder: clouds gathered exclusively over Ruda’s field, pouring torrential rain while surrounding lands remained bone dry! That season, Ruda harvested sixteen large measures (kalshi) of abundant pearl millet. Journeying to Gadhpur, Ruda presented fresh roasted green millet (ponk) at Shreehari’s lotus feet, which Shreehari and Sadguru Muktanand Swami tasted with immense pleasure.
Later, in Samvat 1879, during the historic sixty-day Shakotsav festival organized by Shreehari in Loya, Ruda Sindhav and Khengar Sindhav loaded their bullock carts with nine maunds of pure homemade ghee from their buffaloes. Furthermore, under Shreehari’s instructions, both brothers visited an orchard in Alau and brought seventy maunds of freshly harvested eggplants to Loya. Shreehari personally seasoned the vegetable stew using eighteen maunds of ghee, cooking with such celestial fragrance that even heavenly deities disguised themselves as ascetics to sit in the dining rows! Sadguru Nishkulanand Swami immortalized Ruda Sindhav’s steadfast devotion in the Bhaktachintamani: “True devotees reside in Kholadiyad village, beginning with Suthar Hansraj; And among the valiant Kshatriyas—Khengar, Ramo, Hamir, Mulo, Mandan, and the steadfast Rudo!”
