ગાંધીનગરના નાંદોલ ગામના ધનેશ્વર ત્રવાડીનું કાશીમાં બાર વર્ષ ગાયત્રી તપ, ગાયત્રીદેવી દ્વારા ગઢપુરમાં પ્રગટ ભગવાનના દર્શનનો આદેશ અને અક્ષરધામ પ્રાપ્તિ.
ગાંધીનગર જિલ્લાના નાંદોલ ગામે ધનેશ્વર ત્રવાડી નામે એક મુમુક્ષુ બ્રાહ્મણ રહેતા હતા. તેમને કોઈ સંતાન ન હોવાથી સંસારથી વિરક્ત થઈ તેઓ પોતાના ધર્મપત્ની સાથે પવિત્ર કાશી નગરીમાં ગયા અને બાર વર્ષ સુધી ગંગાકાંઠે ગાયત્રી મહામંત્રનું અખંડ પુરશ્ચરણ કર્યું. તેમની કઠોર તપશ્ચર્યાથી પ્રસન્ન થઈ ગાયત્રીદેવીએ ચતુર્ભુજ રૂપે સાક્ષાત્ પ્રગટ થઈ દર્શન આપ્યા અને વરદાન માગવા કહ્યું. ધનેશ્વર ત્રવાડીએ હાથ જોડી પ્રાર્થના કરી: “હે માતાજી! અમને સંસારની કોઈ નાશવંત સંપત્તિ નથી જોઈતી; અમને સાક્ષાત્ પૂર્ણ પરમાત્માના પ્રત્યક્ષ દર્શન થાય અને આ ભવસાગરમાંથી કાયમી મોક્ષ પ્રાપ્ત થાય એવો અમર વર આપો!”
ગાયત્રીદેવીએ પ્રસન્ન થઈને કહ્યું, “ધનેશ્વરભાઈ! હાલ સાક્ષાત્ પૂર્ણ પુરુષોત્તમ નારાયણ પૃથ્વી પર પ્રગટ થયા છે અને કાઠિયાવાડના ગઢપુર ગામે દાદા ખાચરના દરબારમાં શ્રી સ્વામિનારાયણ નામે બિરાજે છે. તમે બંને દંપતી ત્યાં જાઓ, એ પ્રગટ પ્રભુના દર્શનમાત્રથી તમારો પરમ મોક્ષ થશે!”
ગાયત્રીદેવીના આદેશથી દંપતી કાશીથી ચાલીને ગઢપુર પહોંચ્યું. ઘેલા નદીમાં સ્નાન કરી દરબારગઢમાં પ્રવેશતાં જ તેમણે લિંબવૃક્ષ તળે ઢોલિયા પર શ્વેત વસ્ત્રો અને ગુલાબના હાર ધારણ કરી બિરાજમાન તેજોમય શ્રીહરિના દર્શન કર્યા. પ્રેમસખી પ્રેમાનંદ સ્વામી મધુર કીર્તનો ગાઈ રહ્યા હતા. શ્રીહરિની મોહક મૂર્તિ જોતાં જ ધનેશ્વર ત્રવાડીના જન્મ-જન્માંતરના તમામ સંકલ્પો શમી ગયા અને અંતરમાં પરમ શાંતિ વ્યાપી ગઈ. કીર્તન પૂર્ણ થતાં શ્રીહરિએ સામેથી અંતર્યામીપણે બોલાવ્યા: “હે ધનેશ્વરભાઈ! તમને કાશીએથી ગાયત્રીદેવીએ મોકલ્યા ને?”
આ શબ્દો સાંભળતાં જ દંપતી શ્રીહરિના ચરણોમાં ઢળી પડ્યું. શ્રીહરિએ તેમને કંઠી બાંધી પંચવર્તમાન ધરાવી સત્સંગી કર્યા. બંનેએ ગઢપુરમાં થોડા દિવસ રહી સંતો-સાંખ્યયોગી બહેનોનો સમાગમ કર્યો અને નાંદોલ પરત ફર્યા. જીવનભર અખંડ ભજન કરી અંતકાળે શ્રીહરિ મુક્તો સહિત દિવ્ય વિમાન લઈને નાંદોલ પધાર્યા અને ગામલોકોના દેખતાં ધનેશ્વર ત્રવાડી તથા તેમના પત્નીને સદેહે અક્ષરધામમાં તેડી ગયા.

નાંદોલના ધનેશ્વર ત્રવાડીનું કાશીમાં ગાયત્રી પુરશ્ચરણ, ગાયત્રીદેવીનો આદેશ અને ગઢપુરમાં મોક્ષપ્રાપ્તિ
गांधीनगर जिले के नांदोल गाँव में धनेश्वर त्रवाड़ी नामक एक मुमुक्षु ब्राह्मण रहते थे। कोई संतान न होने के कारण वे अपनी पत्नी सहित काशी चले गए और बारह वर्षों तक गायत्री महामंत्र का कठोर पुरश्चरण किया। उनकी तपस्या से प्रसन्न होकर भगवती गायत्री ने चतुर्भुज रूप में साक्षात् दर्शन दिए। धनेश्वरजी ने केवल मोक्ष और साक्षात् ईश्वर-प्राप्ति का वरदान माँगा।
गायत्रीदेवी ने आदेश दिया: “धनेश्वर! वर्तमान में साक्षात् पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम नारायण काठियावाड़ के गढपुर में दादा खाचर के दरबार में श्री स्वामीनारायण रूप में विराजमान हैं। आप दोनों वहाँ जाकर उनके दर्शन कीजिए; आपका मोक्ष निश्चित है।”
देवी की आज्ञानुसार दोनों गढपुर पहुँचे। दरबारगढ़ में नीम के वृक्ष तले श्वेत वस्त्रों में सुशोभित श्रीहरि के दर्शन करते ही उनके समस्त संशय विलीन हो गए। कीर्तन के पश्चात अंतर्यामी प्रभु ने पुकारा: “धनेश्वरजी! आपको काशी से गायत्रीदेवी ने भेजा है न?”
यह सुनते ही दंपति प्रभु चरणों में नतमस्तक हो गया। श्रीहरि ने उन्हें कंठी बाँधकर सत्संगी बनाया। नांदोल लौटकर उन्होंने आजीवन भजन किया और अंतकाल में श्रीहरि स्वयं दिव्य विमान लेकर पधारे और समस्त ग्रामवासियों के सम्मुख दोनों को अपने परम अक्षरधाम ले गए।

Nandol Dhaneshwar Travadi Gayatri
In the village of Nandol, Gandhinagar district, lived a spiritual seeker named Dhaneshwar Travadi. Being childless and detached from worldly allurements, he and his devout wife journeyed to the holy city of Kashi (Varanasi), where they observed rigorous asceticism, chanting the sacred Gayatri Mahamantra for twelve consecutive years by the banks of the Ganges. Pleased by their intense penance, the Goddess Gayatri manifested before them in a four-armed divine form, urging them to ask for a boon. Folding his hands, Dhaneshwar prayed: “O Divine Mother! We desire no transient worldly treasures; grant us the ultimate boon of beholding the manifest Supreme God face-to-face and attaining final liberation from the cycle of rebirth!”
Goddess Gayatri joyfully revealed: “Dhaneshwar! The Supreme Purushottam Narayan has manifested on earth in human form and is currently presiding in the royal court of Dada Khachar in Gadhpur, Kathiawar, known by the divine name Shree Swaminarayan. Journey there at once; by His divine darshan alone shall you attain supreme liberation!”
Following the divine command, the couple walked from Kashi to Gadhpur. Sanctifying themselves in the River Ghela, they entered Dada Khachar’s courtyard and beheld Shreehari seated upon a cot beneath the sacred neem tree, adorned in pure white garments and fragrant rose garlands, while Sadguru Premanand Swami sang soul-stirring hymns. Gazing upon His radiant countenance, all worldly desires vanished from Dhaneshwar’s soul, replaced by transcendental tranquility. As the music ceased, omniscient Shreehari called out warmly: “O Dhaneshwarbhai! Did Goddess Gayatri send you from Kashi?”
Overcome with profound emotion, the couple prostrated at Shreehari’s lotus feet. Shreehari initiated them with the sacred kanthi and moral vows. After absorbing the spiritual association of the saints and holy women in Gadhpur, they returned to Nandol, spending the rest of their lives in continuous devotion. At the end of their mortal journey, Shreehari manifested with a celestial aerial chariot (vimana) before the awestruck villagers and escorted Dhaneshwar Travadi and his wife directly to eternal Akshardham.
