કચ્છના રાપરમાં સામંતજીના ચોકી પહેરા છતાં શ્રીહરિનું મધ્યરાત્રિએ આધોઈ પ્રયાણ, લાધાજીના પુત્ર મહાબળિયા રાયધણજીનું બળ મર્દન અને સર્વોપરી નિશ્ચય.
શ્રીહરિ ગુજરાતથી કચ્છ દેશમાં પધારતા માર્ગમાં રાપર ગામે સામંતજી દરબારના ઘેર પધાર્યા અને એક અઠવાડિયું રોકાઈને સૌને દિવ્ય સુખ આપ્યું. ત્યારબાદ શ્રીહરિએ કહ્યું, “કાલે અમારે આધોઈ જવું છે માટે અમે રવાના થઈશું.” સામંતજીએ આગ્રહ કર્યો કે હજુ પાંચ દિવસ રોકાઈને જાઓ. શ્રીહરિએ પ્રયાણનો નિર્ણય અડગ રાખ્યો ત્યારે સામંતજીએ હઠ કરી કહ્યું, “મારી પાસે ઘોડા અને હથિયારબંધ સૈનિકો છે, હું ચોકી બેસાડી દઈશ, આપ કેમ જશો?” શ્રીહરિએ શાંતિથી કહ્યું, “ભલે, અમે રોકાઈ જઈએ છીએ.”
રાત્રે જ્યારે સર્વે ગાઢ નિંદ્રામાં પોઢી ગયા, ત્યારે શ્રીહરિ મધ્યરાત્રિએ ઓરડામાંથી એકલા ઊભા થઈ આધોઈ તરફ ચાલી નીકળ્યા! સવારે સામંતજીએ તપાસ કરી તો મહારાજ નહોતા. સામંતજીએ ઘોડેસવારોને પાંચ-પાંચ ગાઉ સુધી દોડાવ્યા પણ ક્યાંય ભાળ ન મળી. સામંતજીને પોતાની ભૂલ સમજાઈ કે ભગવાનને ક્યારેય બળથી બાંધી શકાતા નથી.
શ્રીજીમહારાજ પોતાના ઐશ્વર્યથી આધોઈ ગામે લાધાજી દરબારના દરબારગઢમાં પહોંચી ચૂક્યા હતા. ત્યાં બે માસ રોકાઈ અદ્ભુત લીલાઓ કરી. લાધાજીને અદોજી, કલ્યાણજી, રામસંગજી અને રાયધણજી નામે ચાર પુત્રો હતા. ચારેયમાં રાયધણજી અતિ બળવાન હતા—તેઓ એકસાથે આઠ નાળિયેર ફોડી નાખતા અને કાચી સોપારીને ચપટીમાં દબાવી ભૂકો કરી નાખતા! શ્રીહરિએ હસીને કહ્યું, “રાયધણજી! તમે અમારું કાંડું પકડો તો!” રાયધણજીએ કહ્યું, “મહારાજ! આપનું શરીર તપથી કૃશ છે, રહેવા દો.”
શ્રીહરિના આગ્રહથી રાયધણજીએ પૂરા જોરથી શ્રીહરિનું કાંડું પકડ્યું, પણ શ્રીહરિએ ક્ષણવારમાં સહજતાથી હાથ છોડાવી લીધો! ત્યારબાદ શ્રીહરિએ રાયધણજીનો જમણો હાથ પોતાની બગલમાં દબાવ્યો, ત્યાં તો રાયધણજી પરસેવે રેબઝેબ થઈ ગયા અને હાડકાં તૂટતાં હોય તેવી અસહ્ય પીડા થવા લાગી! શ્રીહરિએ હાથ ફેરવી તુરંત પીડા મટાવી સાજા કર્યા. ચારેય ભાઈઓ હાથ જોડી બોલ્યા, “હે પ્રભુ! આપ બાળરૂપે કંસ જેવા અસુરોને કેમ માર્યા હતા તેનો સંશય આજે ટળી ગયો. આપ સાક્ષાત્ સર્વોપરી અક્ષરાતીત પુરુષોત્તમ નારાયણ છો!”

રાપરમાં સામંતજીની હઠ, મધ્યરાત્રિએ પ્રયાણ અને આધોઈમાં રાયધણજીનું બળ મર્દન
कच्छ यात्रा के दौरान श्रीहरि रापर गाँव में सामंतजी के गृह एक सप्ताह ठहरे। जब प्रभु ने आधोई जाने की इच्छा व्यक्त की, तब सामंतजी ने हठपूर्वक कहा, “मेरे पास अश्व और सैनिक हैं, मैं पहरा लगा दूँगा; आप कैसे जाएँगे?” श्रीहरि ने शांत भाव से कहा, “ठीक है, हम रुक जाते हैं।”
किंतु अर्धरात्रि में जब सभी प्रगाढ़ निद्रा में थे, तब श्रीहरि अकेले ही आधोई की ओर चल पड़े। प्रातः सैनिकों को चारों दिशाओं में दौड़ाने पर भी प्रभु का कोई सुराग न मिला। सामंतजी को अपनी भूल का पश्चाताप हुआ कि सर्वसमर्थ ईश्वर को हठ या बल से बाँधा नहीं जा सकता।
प्रभु अपने ऐश्वर्य से आधोई में लाधाजी के दरबार में पहुँचे और दो मास तक दिव्य लीलाएँ कीं। लाधाजी के चार पुत्रों में रायधणजी महाबली थे—वे एक साथ आठ नारियल फोड़ देते थे और सुपारी को उंगलियों से चूर्ण कर देते थे। श्रीहरि ने विनोदपूर्वक कहा, “रायधणजी! हमारी कलाई पकड़कर दिखाइए।” रायधणजी ने बलपूर्वक कलाई पकड़ी, किंतु प्रभु ने सहजता से हाथ छुड़ा लिया।
तदुपरांत श्रीहरि ने रायधणजी के हाथ को अपनी बगल में हलका-सा दबाया। रायधणजी पसीने से तरबतर हो गए और हाथ की हड्डियाँ चटकने जैसी असह्य पीड़ा होने लगी। श्रीहरि ने पुनः हाथ फेरकर उनकी व्यथा शांत की। चारों भाइयों ने नतमस्तक होकर स्तुति की: “हे प्रभु! आप ही साक्षात् परमब्रह्म पुरुषोत्तम हैं जिन्होंने बाल्यकाल में कंस आदि दैत्यों का संहार किया था। आज हमारा समस्त संशय दूर हो गया।”

Rapar Samantji Adhoi Raydhanji Bal Mardan
Journeying toward Kutch, Bhagwan Swaminarayan camped at the residence of Darbar Samantji in Rapar for a week. When Shreehari announced His departure for Adhoi, Samantji obstinately pleaded for Him to stay five more days. When Shreehari stood by His itinerary, Samantji proudly declared, “I command swift horses and armed sentries; I shall post guards at every gate, so how can You possibly leave?” Shreehari calmly replied, “Very well, We shall remain.”
At midnight, while the entire household was wrapped in deep slumber, Shreehari quietly departed on foot toward Adhoi! In the morning, Samantji discovered Shreehari’s absence. Dispatching horsemen leagues in every direction yielded no trace of the Lord. Samantji repented deeply, realizing that the Almighty can never be bound by human pride or force.
Through His divine majesty, Shreehari arrived safely at Darbar Ladhaji’s estate in Adhoi, residing there for two months. Ladhaji had four sons: Adoji, Kalyanji, Ramsangji, and Raydhanji. Raydhanji was renowned for his superhuman physical strength—capable of smashing eight coconuts simultaneously and pulverizing hard betel nuts with his bare fingertips. Smiling, Shreehari challenged, “Raydhanji! Try gripping Our wrist!” Raydhanji hesitated, remarking that the ascetic Lord’s physique was too lean from severe penance.
Upon Shreehari’s insistence, Raydhanji gripped the Lord’s wrist with all his might, but Shreehari effortlessly slipped His hand free in a split second! Then, gently pressing Raydhanji’s right hand beneath His arm, Shreehari applied subtle divine pressure. Instantly, the mighty warrior broke into a profuse sweat, crying out that his bones were snapping under an unendurable weight! With a tender touch of His hand, Shreehari instantly healed him and removed all pain. Bowing in reverence, the four brothers prayed: “O Supreme Lord! Today our intellect understands how You effortlessly vanquished mighty demons like Kansa in Your childhood. You are the supreme Aksharatit Purushottam Himself!”
