સુરતના હરિભક્તોએ પૃેમ કરીને શ્રીહરિ સારુ નવા વાઘા બનાવી ને જેરામ બૃહમચારી હારે સુરતથી મોકલાવ્યા. જેરામ બૃહમચારી સુરતથી ચાલતા ગઢપુર જાવા નીકળ્યા. રસ્તા મા ચાલતા ભાલપૃદેશમાં ગાંફ ગામ પાસે બે ચોરોએ તેમને ભાળ્યા એટલે એમની પાછળ પાછળ ચાલ્યા. બંને ચોરો જેરામ બૃહમચારીને વાટે લૂંટવા સારુ પાછળ ચાલતા ચાલતા રોજકા ગામ ના સીમાડા સુધી આવ્યા. જેરામ બૃહમચારી સમયનો તાગ પામી ગયા તે શ્રીહરિને સંભારતા સંભારતા વાટે ઉતાવળા હાલ્યા. કેડાના કાંઠે રાજપૂત મસરું ગોળ પોતાના ખેતરમાં સાંતી હાંકતા હતા તે બૃહ્મચારીજી એમના પાસે ગયાને વાત કરી કે મારી પાસે ઝોળીમાં ભગવાન શ્રી સ્વામિનારાયણ સારુ કિમતી પોશાક છે ને આ બેઉ મને લૂંટવાના ઇરાદા મારા વાહે વાહે પગેરું કરે છે. તમે મદદ કરો તો સારુ. મસરું રાજપૂતે તો તુરંત જ પોતાના સાંતીએ ઝૂતેલા બળદને રોક્યા ને પોતાની તલવાર કાઢીને બેઉ ચોરને પડકાર્યા. બેઉ ચોરને તાડૂકીને બોલ્યા કે જો તમારો બેઉનો કાય લૂંટફાટ નો ઇરાદો હોય તો ભાગી જાજો નહીતર આ તલવાર નો ઘા પડશે તો જીવતર ઘટી પડશે. આ તલવાર નો એક ઘા પડશે તો કટકા થય જાહે. બેઉ ચોર તો રાજપૂતનો શુરવિરતા ભર્યો પડકાર સાંભળતા જ ભાગી ગયા.
મસરું રાજપુતે પોતાનું સાંતી છોડીને બળદ ગાડામાં બેહારીને જેરામ બૃહ્મચારીને પોતાના ઘરે લઇ ગયા. બૃહ્મચારીજીને પોતાના ઘરના માણહ પાહે કાચું સીધું અપાવીને રસોઇ કરાવી ને ભાવે જમાડ્યા. બીજે દિવસે પોતાનું ગાડું જોડીને ભીમનાથ સુધી મુકી આવ્યા.
ત્યાં થી બૃહમચારી ચાલતા ચાલતા ગઢપુર શ્રીહરિ પાસે આવ્યા ને દર્શન કરીને રસ્તામા બનેલ ઘટનાની વિગતે વાત્ય કરી.
સમય જતા એકવખત ભાલના સંઘમાં એ રાજપુત યુવાન મસરું ગોળ ગઢપુર શ્રીહરિના દર્શને આવ્યા. સંઘમા સૌ વારાફરતી દર્શન કરતા હતા ને જ્યારે મસરું ગોળ શ્રીહરિને ચરણે પગે લાગ્યા ત્યારે શ્રીહરિ ઢોલીયેથી ઉભા થઇ ગયા ને ભેટી પડ્યા ને બોલ્યા કે તમે અમારા ભક્ત એવા જેરામ બ્રહ્મચારીનો પક્ષ રાખ્યો ને એમની ખરા ટાણે રક્ષા કરીને રોક્યા ને પૃેમે જમાડ્યા ને રસ્તે મુકવા આવ્યા તો અમે પણ તમારું મુકતાનંદ સ્વામી જેવુ જ કલ્યાણ કરીશુ.

रोजका के मसरूं गोल और जेराम ब्रह्मचारी की रक्षा
सूरत के अनन्य हरिभक्तों ने अत्यंत प्रेम और भाव से श्रीहरि के लिए सुंदर नवीन वाघा (दिव्य वस्त्र) तैयार करवाए और उन्हें जेराम ब्रह्मचारी के साथ सूरत से गढ़पुर पहुँचाने के लिए भेजा। जेराम ब्रह्मचारी वे पवित्र वस्त्र लेकर सूरत से पैदल ही गढ़पुर की यात्रा पर निकले।
मार्ग में भाल प्रदेश के गांफ गाँव के समीप दो लुटेरों की दृष्टि उन पर पड़ी। ब्रह्मचारीजी के पास की भारी झोली देखकर वे लूटने की नीयत से उनके पीछे-पीछे चलने लगे। दोनों चोर जेराम ब्रह्मचारी का पीछा करते-करते रोजका गाँव की सीमा तक आ पहुँचे। जेराम ब्रह्मचारी समय की नज़ाकत और संकट को भाँप गए; वे अपने मन में निरंतर श्रीहरि के पावन नाम का स्मरण करते हुए तेजी से कदम बढ़ाने लगे।
पगडंडी के किनारे खेत में रोजका के वीर राजपूत मसरूं गोल अपना हल (सांती) चला रहे थे। जेराम ब्रह्मचारी तुरंत उनके पास पहुँचे और बोले, “भाई! मेरी इस झोली में साक्षात भगवान श्री स्वामीनारायण के लिए अर्पित किए जाने वाले बहुमूल्य दिव्य वस्त्र हैं, और ये दो चोर मुझे लूटने के इरादे से पीछे-पीछे आ रहे हैं। यदि आप मेरी सहायता करें तो बड़ी कृपा होगी।”
यह सुनते ही मसरूं राजपूत ने तुरंत हल में जुते बैलों को रोका, अपनी म्यान से चमचमाती तलवार खींची और सिंह की भाँति गरजते हुए दोनों लुटेरों को ललकारा! मसरूं ने कड़क आवाज़ में डांटते हुए कहा, “अरे दुष्टो! यदि तुम्हारा कोई भी लूटपाट का इरादा हो तो तुरंत यहाँ से भाग जाओ, अन्यथा यदि मेरी इस तलवार का एक भी वार तुम पर पड़ा तो तुम्हारी आयु घट जाएगी और तुम टुकड़े-टुकड़े हो जाओगे!” उस शूरवीर राजपूत की ऐसी भीषण हुंकार और नंगी तलवार देखकर दोनों चोर भय के मारे सिर पर पैर रखकर भाग खड़े हुए।
इसके उपरांत मसरूं राजपूत ने अपना खेत का काम वहीं छोड़ दिया और जेराम ब्रह्मचारी को बड़े आदरपूर्वक अपने बैलगाड़े में बिठाकर अपने घर ले आए। ब्रह्मचारीजी के त्याग और नियम-धर्म के अनुसार उन्होंने अपने परिजनों से शुद्ध कच्चा सीधा (अन्न-सामग्री) दिलवाया, ब्रह्मचारीजी से रसोई बनवाकर अत्यंत भाव और श्रद्धा से उन्हें भोजन कराया। अगली सुबह वे स्वयं अपनी बैलगाड़ी जोड़कर ब्रह्मचारीजी को सुरक्षित भीमनाथ तक छोड़ आए।
भीमनाथ से जेराम ब्रह्मचारी पदयात्रा करते हुए गढ़पुर में श्रीजी महाराज के सम्मुख पहुँचे। उन्होंने श्रीहरि के श्रीचरणों में साष्टांग प्रणाम किया और मार्ग में घटी इस अद्भुत घटना का सारा वृत्तांत विस्तार से सुनाया।
कुछ समय पश्चात, भाल प्रदेश से आए हरिभक्तों के एक विशाल संघ के साथ वे राजपूत युवक मसरूं गोल भी गढ़पुर में श्रीहरि के दर्शन करने आए। संघ के सभी भक्त बारी-बारी से श्रीहरि के चरणों में वंदन कर रहे थे। जैसे ही मसरूं गोल ने झुककर श्रीजी महाराज के चरण-कमलों को स्पर्श किया, अंतर्यामी श्रीहरि तुरंत अपने ढोलिए से उठ खड़े हुए! उन्होंने मसरूं गोल को अपने हृदय से लगाकर अत्यंत स्नेह से आलिंगन दिया और बोले, “हे मसरूं! आपने संकट के समय हमारे अनन्य भक्त जेराम ब्रह्मचारी का पक्ष रखा, उनकी प्राणपण से रक्षा की, उन्हें आदरपूर्वक अपने घर ले जाकर प्रेम से भोजन कराया और मार्ग में सुरक्षित विदा किया; इसलिए हम भी आपको सद्गुरु मुक्तानंद स्वामी के समान ही परम पद और मोक्ष प्रदान करेंगे!”

Masru Gol of Rojka and the Protection of Jeram Brahmachari
With immense love and devotion, the devotees of Surat had prepared splendid new divine attire (vagha) for Shri Hari and entrusted them to Jeram Brahmachari to deliver from Surat to Gadhpur. Carrying the sacred garments reverently in his bag (joli), Jeram Brahmachari set out on foot on the long journey toward Gadhpur.
As he walked through the Bhal region near the village of Ganf, two lurking thieves caught sight of him. Suspecting that the ascetic’s bag contained valuable goods, they began stalking him closely with the intention of plundering him along the lonely path. The thieves followed him persistently until they reached the outskirts of Rojka village. Sensing the imminent danger, Jeram Brahmachari quickened his pace while fervently chanting and remembering the divine name of Shri Hari in his heart.
Beside the rustic trail, a courageous young Rajput named Masru Gol was ploughing his field. Seeing the farmer, Brahmachariji approached him and said, “Brother, I am carrying precious sanctified garments intended for Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan in my cloth bag, and these two thieves have been tracking me from behind with the intention to rob me. It would be a great act of service if you could assist me.”
Upon hearing this, Masru Rajput immediately halted his bullocks yoked to the plough. He boldly unsheathed his gleaming sword and confronted the two bandits with a thunderous roar! Striding toward them, Masru shouted fiercely, “You wretched cowards! If you harbor any intention of robbery, flee from here at once! If even a single blow of this sword lands upon you, your lives will be cut short and you will be sliced into pieces!” Struck with sheer terror by the valiant Rajput’s fearless demeanor and flashing blade, the two thieves turned on their heels and fled for their lives.
Masru Rajput then unyoked his plough, respectfully seated Jeram Brahmachari in his bullock cart, and brought him to his own home in Rojka. Respecting Brahmachariji’s ascetic vows of preparing his own sanctified meals, Masru arranged pure uncooked provisions (kachu seedhu) through his family members, had Brahmachariji cook with ease, and lovingly served him a sanctified meal. The following morning, Masru harnessed his cart once more and safely escorted Brahmachariji all the way to Bhimnath.
From Bhimnath, Jeram Brahmachari walked onwards to Gadhpur, where he arrived safely into the divine presence of Shri Hari. After offering his heartfelt prostrations, he narrated the entire harrowing incident and Masru Rajput’s heroic protection in vivid detail to Maharaj.
Some time later, a pilgrimage procession (sangh) of devotees from the Bhal region arrived in Gadhpur for the divine darshan of Shri Hari. Among the pilgrims was the young Rajput, Masru Gol. As the devotees stepped forward one by one to pay their respects, Masru Gol bowed low to touch the lotus feet of Shri Hari. The moment Masru touched His feet, the omniscient Shri Hari arose from His cot (dholiyo) and embraced Masru with overwhelming affection! Holding him close to His heart, Shri Hari proclaimed, “Because you staunchly supported and defended Our devotee Jeram Brahmachari in his moment of grave danger, sheltered him in your home, fed him with genuine devotion, and safely escorted him on his path, We shall grant you the ultimate salvation (kalyan) equal to that of Sadguru Muktanand Swami!”
