એકવખત ગામ નિંગાળાના ખેડૂ ગોપાલભાઇ પોતાના જાંબલા બળદની જોડ્યને ગાડે જોડી ગઢડે શ્રીહરિને સંતોના દર્શને આવ્યા.

નિંગાળાના ગોપાલભાઇ અને બળદની સેવા
એકવખત ગામ નિંગાળાના ખેડૂ ગોપાલભાઇ પોતાના જાંબલા બળદની જોડ્યને ગાડે જોડી ગઢડે શ્રીહરિને સંતોના દર્શને આવ્યા. ભગતના બળદને ગાડે જૂતેલા જોઇને શ્રીહરિએ વખાણ્યા ને બોલ્યા કે ગોપાલ ભગત..! આ બળદ તો બવ સારા છે, ને અમારા રથમા જોડવા જેવા છે. એ સમયે ગોપાલભાઇ થી સંકોચમાં શ્રીહરિને હા કહેવાણી નહી, પોતે પાંચ દિવસ ગઢપુર રોકાઇ ને દર્શન સમાગમ કરીને પોતાને ઘેર આવ્યા. શ્રીહરિ બરાબર થોડે સમયે પોતાની લીલા સંકેલીને અક્ષરધામ સીધાવી ગયા. ગામ નિંગાળામાં ગોપાલભાઇ ને એ સમાચાર મળ્યા ત્યારે મનમા એમ વસવસો થયો કે શ્રીહરિએ મારા પાસે સામેથી બળદ માંગયા ને હુ આપી ન શક્યો. પોતાને બહુ મનમા રંજ થયો. તેના હૈયામાં દાઝ થઇ કે હુ શ્રીહરિને ટાણે રાજી ન કરી શક્યો. થોડા મહીના આમનમ જ હૃદય મા દુખ સાથે વિતાવ્યા ત્યાં આદિ આચાર્ય શ્રી રઘુવિરજી મહારાજ વડતાલથી ગઢપુર પધારે છે એવા સમાચાર પોતાને મળ્યા. મનમા થયું કે હવે આચાર્ય મહારાજશ્રીને બળદ આપીને રાજી કંરુ. પોતે તુરંત જ પોતાના બેઉ બળદ ને લઇને ગઢપુર પહોંચ્યા. બંને બળદને રઘુવિરજી મહારાજશ્રીને કૃષ્ણાર્અર્પણ કર્યા ને બોલ્યા કે આ બળદ ને શ્રીજીમહારાજ ને આપવાના હતા પણ મારાથી એ સમો વધાવી ન શકાયો ને શ્રીજીમહારાજ તો લીલા સંકેલી ને ગયા, હવે એ ડંખ મારા હૃદયમા રહ્યા કરે છે, તમે એમના દીકરા છોવ તો મારા બળદને તમારા વેલડામા જોડવા હારું સ્વીકારો. ગોપાલભાઇએ બળદની રાશ આચાર્ય મહારાજશ્રી ને સોંપી ને દંડવત કર્યા ને સૌના દર્શન કરીને પોતાને ગામ નિંગાળે ચાલીને આવ્યા. પોતાને મનમા ત્યારે શાંતિ થઇ.
ચાર મહીના વિત્યે નિંગાળા ગામના પાદરમાંથી શ્રીહરિ એ બેઉ જાંબલા બળદને ગાડે જોડીને સંઘ સાથે નિસર્યા ને સાથે ૪૦ સાધુને ૧૦ પાળાઓ ઘોડેસ્વાર હારે હતા એવા દર્શન ગોપાલભાઇના દિકરા પૂંજાભાઇ ને થયા, પોતે પોતાના બળદને ઓળખ્યા. નાના એવા પૂંજાભાઇ તુરંત પાસે આવીને શ્રીહરિને પગે લાગ્યા. શ્રીહરિએ ગાડું ઉભુ રાખીને હાથ લાંબો કરીને આંગળીઓ બળદ તરફ ઇશારો કરીને પૂંજાભાઇને કહ્યું કે આ તમારા પિતા ગોપાલભાઇ ની બળદની સેવા અમને મળી ગઇ છે. અમે એમના ઉપર ઘણા રાજી છીએ. એમ વાત કરીને દર્શન આપીને સૌ સંઘ સાથે અદ્રશ્ય થઇ ગયા. પૂંજાભાઇ તો દોડતા દોડતા ઘરે આવ્યા ને એમના પિતાજી ગોપાલભાઇને મહારાજે આપણા જાંબલા બળદ સાથે ગાડાની ઉંધે બેસતા થકા દર્શન દીધા એ વાત કરી, ત્યારે ગોપાલભાઇને હૈયામાં શ્રીહરિએ પોતાની સેવા રઘુવિરજીમહારાજ થકી સ્વીકારી એ વાતે ઘણી શાંતિ થઇ.

निंगाला के गोपालभाई और बैलों की सेवा
एक समय निंगाला गाँव के कृषक भक्त गोपालभाई अपने ‘जांबला’ बैलों की जोड़ी को छकड़े (गाड़ी) में जोड़कर गढडा में श्रीहरि और संतों के दर्शन के लिए आए। भक्त के बैलों को गाड़ी में जुते हुए देखकर श्रीहरि ने उनकी प्रशंसा की और बोले, “गोपाल भगत! ये बैल तो बहुत सुंदर और बलिष्ठ हैं, हमारे रथ में जोतने योग्य हैं।” उस समय संकोचवश गोपालभाई श्रीहरि को ‘हाँ’ न कह सके। वे पाँच दिन गढ़पुर में रुककर दर्शन-सत्संग का लाभ लेकर अपने घर लौट आए।
कुछ ही समय पश्चात श्रीहरि अपनी मनुष्य लीला समेटकर परमधाम अक्षरधाम सिधार गए। निंगाला गाँव में जब गोपालभाई को यह समाचार मिला, तब उनके मन में भारी पश्चाताप हुआ कि “श्रीहरि ने स्वयं मुझसे बैल माँगे थे और मैं उन्हें समर्पित न कर सका!” उनके हृदय में गहरा आघात लगा और वे विलाप करने लगे कि मैं उचित समय पर श्रीहरि को राजी न कर सका।
कुछ महीने इसी वेदना में बीते। तभी उन्हें समाचार मिला कि आदि आचार्य श्री रघुवीरजी महाराज वडताल से गढ़पुर पधार रहे हैं। गोपालभाई के मन में विचार आया कि अब आचार्य महाराजश्री को ये बैल समर्पित करके श्रीहरि को प्रसन्न करूँ। वे तुरंत ही दोनों बैलों को लेकर गढ़पुर पहुँचे। दोनों बैल रघुवीरजी महाराज को कृष्णार्पण करते हुए वे बोले, “हे महाराज! ये बैल श्रीजी महाराज को भेंट करने थे, परंतु मैं उस सुअवसर का लाभ न ले सका और श्रीजी महाराज तो अपनी लीला समेटकर धाम पधार गए। अब यह पश्चाताप मेरे हृदय को निरंतर कचोटता रहता है। आप उनके सुपुत्र (धर्मवंशी आचार्य) हैं, अतः मेरी प्रार्थना स्वीकार कर इन बैलों को अपने रथ में जोतने के लिए स्वीकार कीजिए।”
गोपालभाई ने बैलों की रास (लगाम) आचार्य महाराजश्री को सौंप दी, साष्टांग दंडवत प्रणाम किया और सभी के दर्शन कर पैदल ही अपने गाँव निंगाला लौट आए। तब जाकर उनके हृदय को कुछ शांति मिली।
चार महीने बीतने के बाद, निंगाला गाँव के पादर (सीमा) से श्रीहरि उन्हीं दोनों जांबला बैलों को गाड़ी में जोड़े हुए पूरे संघ के साथ निकले। उनके साथ ४० साधु और १० घुड़सवार पार्षद थे। गोपालभाई के छोटे पुत्र पूंजाभाई को यह अलौकिक दर्शन हुआ। बालक पूंजाभाई ने अपने बैलों को पहचान लिया और तुरंत दौड़कर श्रीहरि के चरणों में नतमस्तक हो गया। श्रीहरि ने गाड़ी रोककर अपना हाथ आगे बढ़ाया और बैलों की ओर उँगली से इशारा करते हुए पूंजाभाई से कहा, “तुम्हारे पिता गोपालभाई की बैलों की सेवा हमें प्राप्त हो गई है। हम उन पर अत्यंत राजी (प्रसन्न) हैं।”
इतनी बात कहकर और दिव्य दर्शन देकर श्रीहरि समस्त संघ सहित अंतर्ध्यान हो गए।
पूंजाभाई दौड़ते-दौड़ते घर पहुँचे और अपने पिता गोपालभाई को बताया कि महाराज ने हमारे जांबला बैलों से जुती गाड़ी पर विराजमान होकर साक्षात् दर्शन दिए हैं और यह वचन कहे हैं। यह सुनकर गोपालभाई के हृदय को परम शांति और आनंद प्राप्त हुआ कि श्रीहरि ने आचार्य रघुवीरजी महाराज के माध्यम से उनकी सेवा सहर्ष स्वीकार कर ली है।

Gopalbhai of Ningala and the Service of the Bullocks
Once, a farmer named Gopalbhai from the village of Ningala yoked his pair of fine Jambla bullocks to his cart and came to Gadhada to have the divine darshan of Shri Hari and the holy sadhus. Seeing the devotee’s sturdy bullocks yoked to the cart, Shri Hari praised them and said, “Gopal Bhagat! These bullocks are remarkably fine; they are truly worthy of being yoked to our chariot!” At that moment, held back by hesitation and attachment, Gopalbhai could not bring himself to say yes to Shri Hari. He stayed in Gadhpur for five days, enjoying divine darshan and spiritual communion, and then returned home.
A short time later, Shri Hari concluded His earthly manifestations and departed for Akshardham. When Gopalbhai received this sorrowful news in Ningala, his heart was filled with profound remorse: “Shri Hari Himself asked me directly for those bullocks, yet I failed to offer them!” Deep anguish gripped his heart that he had missed the sacred opportunity to please Shri Hari when the moment presented itself.
A few months passed in this agonizing grief. Then he heard the joyful news that the first spiritual preceptor, Adi Acharya Shri Raghuvirji Maharaj, was arriving in Gadhpur from Vadtal. Gopalbhai thought, “Now I shall offer these bullocks to Acharya Maharajshri and earn Shri Hari’s divine pleasure.” Without delay, he took both bullocks and arrived in Gadhpur. Offering both bullocks unto the lotus feet of Raghuvirji Maharaj as Krishnarpan, he pleaded with tears, “These bullocks were meant to be offered to Shriji Maharaj, but I failed to seize that sacred opportunity, and Maharaj has now departed for Akshardham. That pang of regret has pierced my heart ever since. You are His spiritual successor and son; please accept these bullocks to be yoked to your chariot.”
Gopalbhai handed the reins of the bullocks to Acharya Maharajshri, offered devout dandvat pranam, took darshan of all the saints and devotees, and walked back on foot to Ningala. Only then did his troubled mind find solace.
Four months later, at the outskirts (padar) of Ningala village, Shri Hari Himself passed by in a cart drawn by those very two Jambla bullocks, accompanied by a divine sangh of 40 sadhus and 10 mounted horsemen attendants. Gopalbhai’s young son, Punjabhai, was blessed with this wondrous divine vision. He instantly recognized their bullocks. Little Punjabhai ran forward and fell at Shri Hari’s holy feet. Shri Hari brought the cart to a halt, extended His hand, and pointing towards the bullocks, said to Punjabhai, “We have received this devotional service of the bullocks offered by your father, Gopalbhai. We are exceedingly pleased with him!”
Having spoken these loving words and granted divine darshan, Shri Hari vanished along with the entire holy entourage.
Punjabhai sprinted home and narrated the entire miraculous event to his father—how Maharaj had given darshan seated upon the cart drawn by their Jambla bullocks. Upon hearing this, Gopalbhai’s heart was overwhelmed with profound peace and gratitude, realizing that Shri Hari had graciously accepted his devotion and service through Acharya Raghuvirji Maharaj.
