માણાવદરથી અઢારેક કીલોમીટર ના અંતરે ઝીંઝરી ગામ આવેલું છે. સદગુરુ નૃસીહાનંદ સત્સંગ વિચરણ મા ફરતા ફરતા આ ઝીંઝરી ગામે પધાર્યા ને ગામના ચોરે ઉતારો કર્યો. શ્રીરામચંન્દ્ર મહાપ્રભુના દર્શન કરી ને પોતે ખૂણામાં એકાંત મા બેસીને શ્રીજીમહારાજનુ ધ્યાન કરતા હતા એ વખતે માણાવદર નો દિવાન ને કામદાર કાંક સરકારી કામે ત્યાં આવ્યા ને એમણે આ યોગીપુરુષ ને ધ્યાન કરતા જોયા. બંને મુમુક્ષુ હતા તે ચોરામાં શ્રીરામચંન્દ્રજી પૃભુ ના દર્શન કરીને સ્વામી પાસે આવીને બેઠા. બેઉ ને પાસે બેહતા જ અંતરમા ટાઢું થયું ને કોઇક અલૌકિક અનૂભુતિ થઇ. થોડીવારે સ્વામી જાગ્યા એટલે રામ રામ કહીને પુછયુ કે મહાત્માજી..! તમે કોણ છો? તમારા ગુરુ કોણ છે? તમે કયા સંપૃદાય ના છો ? ત્યારે સ્વામી પોતાની વૈરાગી છટા મા બોલ્યા કે અમે તો રમતા રામ છઇ, આજ અહી તો કાલ્ય બીજે, ને આ દેહને સૌ કોઇ નૃસિહાનંદ નામે ઓળખે છે. મારા ગુરુ તો પૃગટ શ્રી સ્વામિનારાયણ ભગવાન છે ને એમના આદેશ થી અમે સત્સંગ વિચરણ મા ગામડે ફરીએ છીએ.
સ્વામી ના મુખે સ્વામિનારાયણ મહાપૃભુનુ નામ સાંભળતા જ બને ને સમાધી થઇ ગઇ ને અક્ષરધામમા દિવ્ય સુવર્ણ સીહાસન પર શ્રીહરિને બેઠેલા દીઠા, સીહાસન ના ફરતે અક્ષર મુક્તો, મોટા મોટા દેવો, ઇશ્વરો સ્તુતિ કરતા નજરે જોયા. થોડીવાર બને સમાધી માથી જાગ્યા ને સ્વામિનારાયણ મહાપૃભુ નો નિશ્ચય થયો, બંને એ પગે લાગીને સ્વામી પાસે વર્તમાન ધરાવ્યા ને સત્સંગી થયા.
નૃસીહાનંદ સ્વામી ગઢપુર રહેતા ત્યારે કાયમ લખું કંદોઈને ત્યાથી પાશેર ગાંઠીયા ને પેંડા કાયમ મંગાવ્યા કરતા. કાયમ પોતે શ્રીહરિને જમાડીને એ પૃસાદી કોઇત્યાગી સંત કે હરિભક્ત આવે તો એમને જમાડી દેતા પણ પોતે ક્યારેય જમતા નહી. એકદિવસ એમના શીષ્ય સાધુ નારાયણવલ્લભદાસે એકદિવસ પુછયુ કે ગુરુ તમે આ કાયમ પેંડા ને ગાંઠીયા મંગાવો છો પણ તમે તો જમતા નથી, ને બીજા ને આપી દ્યો છો તે લખું કંદોઇ તો બચારો ગરીબ છે એ કયા સુધી ઝીંક જીલશે..?
ત્યારે સદગુરુ નૃસીંહાનંદ સ્વામી કહે કે નારાયણવલ્લભદાસ, મારે લખું કંદોઇને ગરીબ નથી રેવા દેવો, એના પેંડા ને ગાઠીયા રોજ મંગાવીને મહારાજ ને જમાડીને એનું દારિદ્રય કાઢી નાખવુ છે. એ સારુ હુ નથી જમતો ને એ પૃસાદી ત્યાગી સંતો ભકતો ને જમાડી ને એનું દારિદ્રય કાપું છુ.
થોડે સમયે લખું કંદોઇ આસામી થયા ને પૈસેટકે સુખી થયા. પોતે સારાય સંપૃદાય મા બધાને જાણીતા થયા. હાલ પણ એમના વંશજો મુંબઇ કાંદિવલી એરીયા મા રહે છે અને સહુ સારો સત્સંગ રાખે છે. પરિવાર ના સભ્યો કહે છે કે સદગુરુ નૃસીહાનંદ સ્વામી એ આશીર્વાદે આપી કહ્યું છે કે તમારી સાત પેઢી મા સુખ સાહ્યબી રહેશે, મોટા સંતની રીત ન્યારી છે, પોતે જમે નહી પણ બીજા ને જમાડી ને સુખીયા કરે. નૃસીહાનંદસ્વામી ના આશીર્વાદે અમે સહુ સુખીયા છઇએ.

सद्गुरु नृसिंहानंद स्वामी और लखू कंदोई
माणावदर से लगभग अठारह किलोमीटर की दूरी पर झींझरी गाँव स्थित है। सद्गुरु नृसिंहानंद स्वामी सत्संग विचरण करते हुए इस झींझरी गाँव में पधारे और गाँव के चौरे (सार्वजनिक विश्राम-स्थल) में डेरा डाला। वहाँ श्रीरामचंद्र महाप्रभु के दर्शन कर वे एक कोने में एकांत में बैठकर श्रीजी महाराज का ध्यान करने लगे। उसी समय माणावदर के दीवान और कामदार किसी सरकारी कार्यवश वहाँ आए और उन्होंने इस योगी पुरुष को ध्यानमग्न देखा। वे दोनों मुमुक्षु (जिज्ञासु) जीव थे, अतः चौरे में श्रीरामचंद्रजी प्रभु के दर्शन करने के उपरांत स्वामीजी के समीप आकर बैठ गए। उनके पास बैठते ही दोनों के अंतःकरण में असीम शांति और किसी अलौकिक दिव्य अनुभूति का संचार हुआ।
थोड़ी देर बाद जब स्वामीजी ध्यान से निवृत्त हुए, तब उन्होंने ‘राम-राम’ कहकर प्रणाम किया और पूछा, “हे महात्माजी! आप कौन हैं? आपके गुरु कौन हैं और आप किस संप्रदाय से हैं?” तब स्वामीजी अपनी स्वाभाविक वैरागी मुद्रा में बोले, “हम तो रमता राम हैं; आज यहाँ हैं तो कल कहीं और! संसार इस देह को नृसिंहानंद के नाम से जानता है। हमारे गुरु तो साक्षात प्रगट भगवान श्री स्वामीनारायण हैं और उन्हीं की आज्ञा से हम सत्संग विचरण हेतु गाँव-गाँव भ्रमण कर रहे हैं।”
स्वामीजी के मुखारविंद से स्वामीनारायण महाप्रभु का पावन नाम सुनते ही वे दोनों समाधि में चले गए! समाधि में उन्होंने अक्षरधाम में दिव्य सुवर्ण सिंहासन पर श्रीहरि को विराजमान देखा। उस सिंहासन के चारों ओर अक्षरमुक्त, बड़े-बड़े देवता और ईश्वर स्तुति करते हुए प्रत्यक्ष दिखाई दिए। कुछ समय बाद जब दोनों समाधि से जागे, तो उनके हृदय में स्वामीनारायण महाप्रभु का अटल निश्चय हो गया। दोनों ने नतमस्तक होकर स्वामीजी के पावन चरणों को स्पर्श किया, पंच वर्तमान धारण किए और निष्ठावान सत्संगी बन गए।
कालांतर में, जब नृसिंहानंद स्वामी गढ़पुर में निवास करते थे, तब वे प्रतिदिन नियमपूर्वक लखू कंदोई (हलवाई) की दुकान से पाव भर (पाशेर) गाठिया और पेड़े मँगवाया करते थे। वे नित्य यह सामग्री श्रीहरि को थाल में अर्पण कर भोग लगाते और फिर वह प्रसादी किसी त्यागी संत या हरिभक्त के आने पर उन्हें जिमा देते, किंतु स्वयं कभी नहीं आरोगते थे। एक दिन उनके शिष्य साधु नारायणवल्लभदास ने विनीत भाव से पूछा, “गुरुदेव! आप प्रतिदिन ये पेड़े और गाठिया मँगवाते हैं, परंतु स्वयं तो ग्रहण नहीं करते और अन्यों को दे देते हैं। बेचारा लखू कंदोई तो अत्यंत निर्धन है, वह कब तक यह आर्थिक भार झेल पाएगा?”
तब सद्गुरु नृसिंहानंद स्वामी ने कृपापूर्वक कहा, “नारायणवल्लभदास! मैं लखू कंदोई को दरिद्र नहीं रहने देना चाहता। उसके पेड़े और गाठिया नित्य मँगवाकर महाराज को भोग लगाने से उसका दारिद्र्य समूल नष्ट हो जाएगा। इसी कारण मैं स्वयं इसे नहीं खाता, बल्कि यह पावन प्रसादी त्यागी संतों और भक्तों को जिमाकर उसके संपूर्ण दारिद्र्य का निवारण कर रहा हूँ।”
कुछ ही समय में लखू कंदोई एक प्रतिष्ठित और समृद्धशाली व्यक्ति (आसामी) बन गए और उनका परिवार धन-धान्य से संपन्न हो गया। वे संपूर्ण संप्रदाय में सुविख्यात हो गए। आज भी उनके वंशज मुंबई के कांदिवली क्षेत्र में निवास करते हैं और दृढ़ सत्संग का पालन करते हैं। परिवार के सदस्य बताते हैं कि सद्गुरु नृसिंहानंद स्वामी ने उन्हें आशीर्वाद देते हुए कहा था, “तुम्हारी सात पीढ़ियों तक सुख-समृद्धि और वैभव बना रहेगा।” महान संतों की रीति सचमुच निराली होती है—वे स्वयं कुछ ग्रहण नहीं करते, अपितु दूसरों को तृप्त कर उन्हें परम सुखी बना देते हैं। लखू कंदोई का परिवार आज भी कहता है कि नृसिंहानंद स्वामी के दिव्य आशीर्वाद से ही हम सब सुखी और संपन्न हैं।

Sadguru Nrusinhanand Swami and Lakhu Kandoi
Approximately eighteen kilometers from Manavadar lies the village of Zinzari. While touring for the propagation of Satsang (satsang vicharan), Sadguru Nrusinhanand Swami arrived in Zinzari and lodged at the village chora (public meeting veranda). After doing darshan of Shri Ramchandra Mahaprabhu at the village shrine, he sat quietly in a solitary corner absorbed in deep meditation on Shriji Maharaj. At that time, the Diwan (chief minister) and the Kamdar (state administrator) of Manavadar arrived there on official government business and noticed this ascetic yogi in profound meditation. Being spiritually inclined seekers (mumukshus), they performed darshan of Shri Ramchandraji and sat reverently beside Swami. The moment they sat near him, their hearts experienced an overwhelming spiritual serenity and an extraordinary divine feeling.
After some time, Swami opened his eyes. Greeting him with “Ram Ram,” they inquired, “O Mahatmaji! Who are you? Who is your Guru, and which sampradaya do you belong to?” Swami replied in his naturally detached ascetic manner, “We are wandering mendicants (ramta ram)—here today, somewhere else tomorrow. The world knows this physical body as Nrusinhanand. My Guru is the manifest Supreme Lord, Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan Himself, and by His divine command, we tour from village to village spreading Satsang.”
The moment they heard the sacred name of Swaminarayan Mahaprabhu from Swami’s lips, both officials instantly entered a divine state of samadhi! In that transcendental vision, they beheld Shri Hari seated upon a divine golden throne in Akshardham, surrounded by liberated souls (Akshar-muktas), prominent deities, and Ishwars singing His praises. When they awakened from samadhi, firm and unshakeable faith in Swaminarayan Mahaprabhu was established in their hearts. Prostrating at Swami’s lotus feet, they accepted the moral vows (vartman) and became devoted satsangis.
Later, while Nrusinhanand Swami resided in Gadhpur, he made it a daily practice to order a quarter seer (pasher) of ganthiya and pendas from Lakhu Kandoi, a local sweetmaker. Every day, Swami would offer this food to Shri Hari as thal, and distribute the sanctified prasadi to visiting ascetic sadhus and devotees; he never consumed any of it himself. One day, his disciple, Sadhu Narayanvallabhdas, asked, “Gurudev, you order these sweets and snacks every day, yet you never eat them yourself and give them away to others. Poor Lakhu Kandoi is destitute; how long will he be able to bear this financial strain?”
Sadguru Nrusinhanand Swami smiled and revealed, “Narayanvallabhdas, I do not wish for Lakhu Kandoi to remain poor! By ordering his pendas and ganthiya daily and offering them to Maharaj, I am eradicating his poverty. For this reason, I do not eat them myself; rather, by feeding this holy prasadi to renounced sadhus and noble devotees, I am severing the roots of his misfortune and destitution.”
Within a short span of time, Lakhu Kandoi flourished and became a wealthy, respected merchant, well-known throughout the entire Sampradaya. Even today, his descendants reside in the Kandivali area of Mumbai, living devoted and faithful satsangi lives. His family members lovingly recount that Sadguru Nrusinhanand Swami had bestowed a divine blessing upon them: “Prosperity and happiness shall remain in your lineage for seven generations.” The ways of great saints are truly unique—they do not indulge themselves, yet by nourishing others, they bring boundless prosperity and spiritual joy to souls. It is solely through the blessings of Nrusinhanand Swami that the family continues to thrive in happiness and peace.
