ભચાઉના જેરામભગત અને નિર્લોભાનંદ સ્વામીની દીક્ષા
એકવખત શ્રીહરિ કચ્છદેશના ભચાઉ ગામે પધાર્યા હતા. હરિભક્ત વાઘજીભાઇ શાહના ફળીયા મા ઢોલીયે શ્રીહરિ બીરાજી ને હરિભક્તો ને દર્શ-સ્પર્શ નુ સુખ આપતા હતા. ગામના સહુ મુમુક્ષુઓ સભામા પધાર્યા હતા. એ વખતે શ્રીહરિ સંતોભકતો ને સમાધીમા મોકલી ને ધામોધામના દર્શન કરાવતા એ જાણી ને મુમુક્ષુ એવા ગામના ખેડૂ ખીમા પટેલે બે હાથ જોડીને વિનંતી કરી હે પૃભુ..! સમાધી તો વર્ષોની તપશ્ચર્યા કરતા યોગીઓને થાય, એ અમ જેવા પામર ને કેવી રીતે થાય? તમે તો દયાના સાગર છોવ તે અમ માથી કોઇને કૃપા કરો તો સારુ..! એવી પોતાની ઇચ્છા વ્યક્ત કરી. ત્યારે શ્રીહરિના ઢોલીયા પાસે જ હરિભક્ત જેરામભગત બેઠેલા હતા. શ્રીહરિએ એમને કહ્યું કે જેરામભગત તમે આંખો બંધ કરીને ભગવાન નુ ધ્યાન કરો તો સમાધી થશે. જેરામભગત આંખો બંધ કરીને થોડીવાર બેસી રહ્યા ને જાગ્યા ત્યારે શ્રીહરિએ પુછયુ કે તમે શુ જોયું. ત્યારે નિખાલસ હૃદયના જેરામભગત બોલ્યા કે હે પૃભુ..! બાજુના ઘરે બાયુ કજીયો કરતી હતી તે મારુ ચિત્ત એકાગૃ થયું જ નહી ને સમાધી નુ સુખ ન આવ્યું. એ સાંભળી શ્રીહરિ બોલ્યા કે કાય વાંધો નહી, તમને જે દેવ મા શ્રધ્ધા હોય એમને આંખો બંધ કરીને સંભારો હવે સમાધી થશે. જેરામભગત તો તુરંત જ આંખો બંધ કરીને પોતાના ઇષ્ટદેવ શ્રીરામચંન્દ્રપૃભુને સંભારવા મંડયા. એમને તુરતંજ સમાધી થઇને ગૌલૌક, વૈકુંઠ, ઇન્દ્રલોક, બૃહ્મલોક વગેરે ધામોના દર્શન થયા ને શ્રીહરિની કૃપાથી અત્યંત સુખ જણાયું. સમાધિમાંથી જાગીને સૌ ગામજનોને એ વાત કરી તે સૌ આશ્ચર્ય પામ્યા. સભા પુરી થતા સૌ ઉઠીને પોતપોતાના ઘેર ગયા.
રાતે શ્રીહરિએ સદગુરુ અખંડાનંદ સ્વામીને બોલાવ્યા ને કહ્યું કે આ ગામમાં મુમુક્ષુઓ ઘણા છેને એમને સત્સંગ નો ખપ છે, માટે તમે રોકાઓ ને સૌને સત્સંગ કરાવો. અખંડાનંદ સ્વામી ભચાઉ રોકાયા ગામમાં સત્સંગ કરાવયો. જે જેરામભગત ને શ્રીહરિએ સમાધી કરાવેલી એ પણ સ્વામી પાસે રોજ સત્સંગ કરવા પધારતા ને ધ્યાન વગેરે શીખતા. પોતાને ધ્યાન સીધ્ધી થતા શ્રીહરિના સ્વરુપમા અત્યંત હેત થયું ને અસાર સંસાર નો ત્યાગ કરીને ભાગવતિ દીક્ષા લઇને સાધુ થયા ને નિર્લોભાનંદ સ્વામી એવું નામ રાખ્યું. પોતે કાયમ એમના ગુરુ એવા સદગુરુ અખંડાનંદ સ્વામી સાથે જ સત્સંગ વિચરણ મા ફરતા. પોતાને ધ્યાન નુ અંગ હોવાથી ધ્યાની નિર્લોભાનંદ તરીકે ઓળખાતા.
એકવખત વિચરણમા ફરતા ફરતા ગુરુ-શિષ્ય ગઢપુર શ્રીહરિના દર્શન પધાર્યા હતા. એ વખતે સંવત ૧૮૮૪ ના શ્રાવણ મહીને શ્રીહરિ ગઢપુર દરબારગઢ મા ઉગમણા બારની ઓહરીએ રઘુવીરજી મહારાજ વગેરે સહુ સંતો ભક્તો સાથે બીરાજયા હતા. એ સભામા ધ્યાની નિર્લોભાનંદ સ્વામીએ પૃશ્ન પુછયો હતો કે પૃભુ..! જાગૃત અવસ્થા મા દિઠા કે સાંભળ્યા ન હોય એવા પદાર્થ સ્વપ્નમાં સફ્રૂરી આવે એનું શુ કારણ હશે? ત્યારે શ્રીહરિએ કહ્યું કે એતો જીવના પુરવજનમ ના કર્મની વાસનાએ કરીને છે ને એ મોટા સત્પુરુષ ના સમાગમે કરીને કરીને જેમ ચારપાંચ વરહ જુની ડાંગર વાવો તો ઉગે નહી એમ જનમોજનમની વાસના જીર્ણ થાયને ફરીને સ્ફૂરે નહીને જીવને જનમમરણ કરાવે નહી. भचाऊ के जेरामभगत और निर्लोभानंद स्वामी की दीक्षा
एक समय श्रीहरि कच्छ देश के भचाऊ गाँव में पधारे थे। हरिभक्त वाघजीभाई शाह के आँगन में पलंग पर विराजमान होकर श्रीहरि हरिभक्तों को दर्शन एवं स्पर्श का दिव्य सुख प्रदान कर रहे थे। गाँव के सभी मुमुक्षु जन सभा में उपस्थित थे। उस समय श्रीहरि संतों-भक्तों को अपनी इच्छामात्र से समाधि कराकर विभिन्न दिव्य धामों के दर्शन कराते थे। यह जानकर गाँव के मुमुक्षु किसान खीमा पटेल ने दोनों हाथ जोड़कर विनम्र प्रार्थना की, “हे प्रभु! समाधि तो वर्षों तक कठिन तपस्या करने वाले सिद्ध योगियों को होती है; भला हम जैसे पामर संसारी जीवों को यह कैसे सुलभ हो सकती है? आप तो साक्षात् दया के सागर हैं, यदि हममें से किसी पर कृपा करें तो बड़ा उपकार होगा!” खीमा पटेल ने ऐसी इच्छा व्यक्त की। उस समय श्रीहरि के पलंग के पास ही हरिभक्त जेरामभगत बैठे हुए थे। श्रीहरि ने उनसे कहा, “जेरामभगत! आप आँखें बंद करके भगवान का ध्यान धरिए, आपको समाधि हो जाएगी।” जेरामभगत आँखें बंद करके कुछ देर बैठे रहे और जब आँखें खोलीं, तो श्रीहरि ने पूछा, “आपने क्या देखा?”
तब सरल एवं निष्कपट हृदय के जेरामभगत बोले, “हे प्रभु! पड़ोस के घर में स्त्रियाँ आपस में झगड़ रही थीं, जिससे मेरा चित्त एकाग्र ही नहीं हुआ और मुझे समाधि का सुख प्राप्त नहीं हुआ।”
यह सुनकर श्रीहरि मुस्कुराते हुए बोले, “कोई बात नहीं! आपको जिस देव में अनन्य श्रद्धा हो, आँखें बंद करके उनका स्मरण कीजिए, अब आपको समाधि होगी।” जेरामभगत ने तुरंत आँखें बंद कीं और अपने इष्टदेव श्री रामचंद्रजी का स्मरण करने लगे। स्मरण करते ही उन्हें तत्काल दिव्य समाधि लग गई और समाधि में गोलोक, वैकुंठ, इंद्रलोक, ब्रह्मलोक आदि दिव्य धामों के अलौकिक दर्शन हुए तथा श्रीहरि की असीम कृपा से उन्हें परमानंद की अनुभूति हुई। समाधि से जागने के उपरांत उन्होंने गाँव के सभी लोगों को अपना यह अनुभव सुनाया, जिसे सुनकर सब आश्चर्यचकित रह गए। सभा संपन्न होने पर सभी अपने-अपने घर चले गए।
रात्रि में श्रीहरि ने सद्गुरु अखंडानंद स्वामी को अपने पास बुलाया और कहा, “इस गाँव में कई मुमुक्षु जीव हैं और उन्हें सत्संग की तीव्र जिज्ञासा है; अतः आप यहीं रुकिए और सभी को सत्संग कराइए।” सद्गुरु अखंडानंद स्वामी भचाऊ में ही रुक गए और गाँववासियों को सत्संग का लाभ देने लगे। जिन जेरामभगत को श्रीहरि ने समाधि कराई थी, वे भी नित्य स्वामीजी के पास सत्संग श्रवण करने आते और ध्यान आदि की विधि सीखते। निरंतर ध्यान सिद्ध होने से उनका श्रीहरि के स्वरूप में अनन्य अनुराग और प्रीति हो गई। उन्होंने इस असार संसार का त्याग कर दिया और भागवती दीक्षा ग्रहण कर साधु बन गए तथा उनका नाम ‘निर्लोभानंद स्वामी’ रखा गया। वे सदैव अपने गुरु सद्गुरु अखंडानंद स्वामी के साथ ही सत्संग विचरण में रहते थे। ध्यान का विशेष अंग होने के कारण वे सत्संग में ‘ध्यानी निर्लोभानंद स्वामी’ के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुए।
एक बार विचरण करते हुए गुरु-शिष्य दोनों श्रीहरि के दर्शन हेतु गढ़पुर पधारे। संवत 1884 के श्रावण मास में श्रीहरि गढ़पुर दरबारगढ़ में पूर्व द्वार के बरामदे (उगमणा बार नी ओहरी) में श्री रघुवीरजी महाराज आदि समस्त संतों-भक्तों के साथ विराजमान थे। उस दिव्य सभा में ध्यानी निर्लोभानंद स्वामी ने प्रश्न पूछा, “हे प्रभु! जाग्रत अवस्था में जो पदार्थ कभी देखे या सुने न हों, वे स्वप्नावस्था में कैसे स्फुरित (दिखाई) हो उठते हैं, इसका क्या कारण है?” तब श्रीहरि ने उत्तर दिया, “वह तो जीव के पूर्वजन्मों के कर्मों की वासना के कारण होता है। और वह वासना बड़े सत्पुरुष के समागम से ही नष्ट होती है—जैसे चार-पाँच वर्ष पुराना धान (चावल का बीज) बोने पर भी अंकुरित नहीं होता, वैसे ही सत्पुरुष के सान्निध्य से जन्म-जन्मांतर की वासनाएं जीर्ण-शीर्ण हो जाती हैं, फिर वे पुनः कभी स्फुरित नहीं होतीं और जीव को जन्म-मरण के चक्र में नहीं डालतीं।” (वचनामृत गढ़डा अंत्य 18)।

Jerambhagat of Bhachau and the Renunciation of Nirlobhanand Swami
Once, Shri Hari arrived at the village of Bhachau in the region of Kachchh. Seated on a cot in the courtyard of devotee Vaghjibhai Shah, Shri Hari was bestowing the divine bliss of His darshan and divine touch upon the devotees. All the spiritual seekers (mumukshus) of the village had assembled in the divine gathering. During that time, Shri Hari would grant trance (samadhi) to devotees and saints at His mere will, allowing them to behold the divine realms. Witnessing this, a genuine seeker and farmer of the village named Khima Patel joined his hands and prayed, “O Lord! Samadhi is attained only by yogis who undergo severe austerities for decades; how can ordinary, frail mortals like us ever experience it? You are an ocean of mercy; if You shower Your grace upon someone among us, it would be a great blessing!” Hearing his sincere longing, Shri Hari turned to devotee Jerambhagat, who was seated close to His cot, and said, “Jerambhagat, close your eyes and meditate on God; you will experience samadhi.” Jerambhagat sat with his eyes closed for a while. When he opened them, Shri Hari asked, “What did you see?”
The candid and innocent Jerambhagat replied, “O Lord! The women in the adjacent house were quarreling, so my mind could not attain concentration at all, and I felt no bliss of samadhi.”
Hearing his honest reply, Shri Hari smiled and said, “No worry! Meditate with closed eyes on whichever deity you hold faith in, and now you will surely enter samadhi.” Jerambhagat immediately closed his eyes and began meditating on his revered Ishtadev, Lord Shri Ramachandra. Instantly, he entered a sublime samadhi and was granted divine visions of the celestial abodes—Golok, Vaikunth, Indralok, Brahmalok, and others—experiencing boundless spiritual bliss by the grace of Shri Hari. Upon awakening from samadhi, he narrated his wondrous experience to all the villagers, leaving them astonished. When the assembly concluded, everyone departed for their homes.
At night, Shri Hari summoned Sadguru Akhandanand Swami and instructed him, “There are numerous spiritual seekers in this village who earnestly thirst for Satsang; therefore, stay here and nurture Satsang among them.” Sadguru Akhandanand Swami stayed in Bhachau and imparted spiritual discourses to the villagers. Jerambhagat, who had experienced samadhi through Shri Hari’s grace, also visited Swami daily to listen to Satsang discourses and learn the art of meditation. As his meditative absorption perfected, an intense, pure love for Shri Hari blossomed in his heart. Renouncing the transient worldly life, he took the vows of Bhagavati diksha (ascetic initiation) and was named ‘Nirlobhanand Swami.’ He constantly traveled for Satsang along with his guru, Sadguru Akhandanand Swami. Because of his natural mastery in meditation, he became widely renowned as ‘Dhyani Nirlobhanand Swami.’
Once, during their travels, both guru and disciple arrived in Gadhpur for the divine darshan of Shri Hari. It was in the month of Shravan, Samvat 1884, when Shri Hari was seated on the east-facing veranda of the Darbargadh in Gadhpur, surrounded by Acharya Shri Raghuvirji Maharaj and an assembly of revered saints and devotees. In that gathering, Dhyani Nirlobhanand Swami asked a profound question: “O Lord! Objects which have neither been seen nor heard of in the waking state sometimes appear in dreams. What is the cause of this?” Shri Hari graciously explained, “That occurs due to the latent impressions and desires (vasanas) of the soul’s past lives. And just as four or five-year-old paddy seeds fail to sprout when sown, similarly, through association with the great Satpurush, the desires of countless lifetimes become withered and dormant; they never sprout again, and thus the soul is freed from the endless cycle of birth and death.” (Vachanamrut Gadhada Last 18).
