ચૂડા તાલુકા ના લાલિયાદ ગામે સંતોનુ મંડળ સત્સંગ વિચરણ અર્થે પધાર્યુ. ગામમાં થોડા હરિભક્તો તે સંતોએ ગામના દરબાર હરિભક્તના ઘરે કથાવારતા કરીને દિવસ ચડતે બાજુના ગામે જાવા પૃયાણ કર્યું. ગામદરબાર સારા હરિભક્ત હતા પણ પોતાનો ઘરનો આર્થિક વ્યવહાર બહુ દૂબળો હતો પણ મનમા એમ થયુ કે આજ આ મનખા ને આવા પૃગટ શ્રીહરિના સંતોને જમાડવાનો મોકો મળ્યો છે. જો આજ આમ જમ્યા વગર જ જતા રેહે તો ફરીને વળી ક્યારે ફરીને આ દેહે મેળ પડશે. પોતે સંતોને પૃણામ કરીને બોલ્યા કે આજ રોકાઓ ને અમારો થાળ કરો ને ઠાકોરજી ને ધરાવીને તમો જમો તો અમારો આ મનખો લેખે લાગે..! અમારે સંસારીઓને ઘેરે તમ જેવા પવિત્ર સંતો જમો તો અમારુ કાંક શ્રેય થાય ને..! સંતો એમનો આર્થિક વ્યવહાર દુર્બળતા જાણીને બોલ્યા કે આજ મોડું થશે ફરીને ક્યારેક આવશુ ત્યારે થાળ કરીશુ. આ સાંભળતા તો દરબાર દિલગીર થઇ ગયા ને રડી પડ્યા, તે સંતોએ ધિરજ આપીને થાળ કરવા રોકાયા. દરબાર તો તરત ઉઠ્યા ને સંતોને ખબર ન પડે એમ પોતાના ઘરના વાડાની ખડકીએ થી જઇને પોતાના ઘરના તાંબા-પિત્તળ ના વાસણો ને એમના ઘરવાળાના લૂગડાં વગેરે લઇને ગામના વાણિયાની દુકાને ગીરવે મુકીને ઘી-ગોળ ને લોટ વગેરે રસોઇ સારુ કરીયાણુ લઇ આવ્યા. સંતોએ થોડામા જાજુ કરીને ઠાકોરજીને થાળ કર્યો ને પોતે જમ્યા ને ઘરના સભ્યો ને પૃસાદી આપી. બપોર સુધી કથાવારતા કરીને સર્વકરતાહર્તા શ્રીહરિના મહીમાં ની વાતો કહીને બાજુના ગામ ગયા.
થોડાક દિવસ વિત્યે એ ગામનો વાણીયો શ્રીહરિને સંતોને ભેગો થઇ ગયો તે બોલ્યો કે સ્વામિનારાયણ મહારાજ..! તમારા ભક્તો બવ ભાવિક હોય હો..! અમારા ગામના ગરાસીયા દરબારે પોતાના વાસણો ને ઘરવાળાના લૂગડાં ગીરવે મુકીને પણ તમારા સાધુ આવ્યા તઇ ભાવથી જમાડ્યા હો..! જે હજુ છોડાવી શક્યા નથી. પણ એમનો સત્સંગ હજુ એવો ને એવો જ છે. શ્રીહરિ એ વાત જાણતા તરત જ વાતનો મર્મ સમજી ગયા ને એ સંતોને બોલાવ્યા ને એમને ઠપકો દીધો. શ્રીહરિએ એ નિષ્ઠાવાન દરબાર અંતર્યામીપણે ભક્તને દર્શન દીધાને પોતાના આર્થિકની વિગત પુછી તો દરબાર બોલ્યા કે એમના ભાઇએ એમના ભાગનો ગરાસ દબાવી રાખ્યો છે એમ દરબારે કહ્યું. ભક્તવત્સલ શ્રીહરિ બોલ્યા કે તમે રાજકોટ સાહેબને લેખિતમા અરજી કરો, તમારા હક્ક નો ગરાસ તમને મળશે ને અમારા આશીર્વાદ છે તમે સુખી થશો. શ્રીહરિ ના આશીર્વાદે એમનો એમનો ગરાસ તુરંત જ મળ્યો ને વ્યવહારે ખુબ સુખી થયા.

लालियाद के गरासिया दरबार की संतसेवा और श्रीहरि के दिव्य आशीर्वाद
चूड़ा क्षेत्र के लालियाद गाँव में संतों का एक मंडल सत्संग विचरण करते हुए पधारा। गाँव में मुट्ठी भर हरिभक्त थे। संतों ने गाँव के एक समर्पित गरासिया दरबार हरिभक्त के घर पर प्रातःकालीन कथा-वार्ता की और दिन चढ़ते ही अगले गाँव जाने की तैयारी करने लगे। वे दरबार अत्यंत निष्ठावान भक्त थे, परंतु उनका सांसारिक आर्थिक व्यवहार अत्यंत दुर्बल और दरिद्र था। उनके मन में तीव्र विचार आया कि ‘आज इस दुर्लभ मनुष्य देह में प्रत्यक्ष परब्रह्म श्रीहरि के पावन संतों को भोजन कराने का सुअवसर मिला है। यदि संत आज बिना भोजन किए ही चले गए, तो जीवन में फिर ऐसा पावन अवसर कब मिलेगा?’ दरबार ने दोनों हाथ जोड़कर संतों के चरणों में प्रार्थना की, “हे पूज्य संतवर! आज आप हमारे घर थाल आरोगने की कृपा कीजिए; जब आप जैसे पवित्र संत हमारे घर भोजन करेंगे, तभी हमारा यह मनुष्य जन्म सार्थक होगा!” संतों ने उनकी अत्यधिक दरिद्रता को जानकर कहा, “दरबार! आज हमें आगे पहुँचने में विलंब हो जाएगा, फिर कभी आएँगे तब भोजन करेंगे।” यह सुनते ही दरबार के नेत्रों से अश्रु बह निकले। वे विलाप करने लगे कि ‘मेरे अहोभाग्य में इतनी भी शक्ति नहीं कि प्रभु के संतों को एक समय भोजन करा सकूँ।’ उनकी आँखों में सच्चा विरह और आर्तनाद देखकर संतों का हृदय पिघल गया और वे भोजन हेतु रुक गए। दरबार ने तुरंत अपने घर के तांबे-पीतल के बचे-खुचे बर्तन और अपनी पत्नी के वस्त्र संतों से छिपाकर पिछले दरवाजे से गाँव के बनिए की दुकान पर गिरवी रख दिए। उससे जो रुपये मिले, उससे वे तुरंत शुद्ध घी, गुड़, आटा और दाल-चावल की सामग्री खरीद लाए। संतों ने बड़े प्रेम से ठाकुरजी को थाल अर्पित किया, स्वयं भोजन किया और परिवार के सभी सदस्यों को महाप्रसाद दिया। दोपहर तक आनंदपूर्वक सत्संग-कथा कर संत आगे पधारे।
कुछ दिनों पश्चात जब वह बनिया किसी कार्यवश श्रीजी महाराज और संतों से मिला, तो उसने भावुक होकर कहा, “स्वामीनारायण महाराज! आपके भक्त सचमुच अत्यंत भाविक और निष्ठावान हैं! हमारे गाँव के गरीब गरासिया दरबार ने अपने घर के बर्तन और पत्नी के गहने-कपड़े मेरी दुकान पर गिरवी रखकर आपके संतों को भोजन कराया था! वे अभी तक अपनी गिरवी वस्तुएँ छुड़ा नहीं पाए हैं, फिर भी आपके प्रति उनका प्रेम वैसा ही अटल है।” सर्वज्ञ श्रीहरि यह सुनते ही उस निष्कपट भक्त के त्याग और समर्पण को समझ गए। उन्होंने संतों को बुलाकर समझाया कि भक्तों की आर्थिक स्थिति देखकर ही सेवा लेनी चाहिए। तत्पश्चात दयालु श्रीहरि ने अंतर्यामी रूप से उस समर्पित दरबार को दर्शन दिए और उनकी आजीविका की जानकारी ली। दरबार ने बताया कि उनके सौतेले भाइयों ने उनके हिस्से की गरास (पैतृक जागीर भूमि) पर अन्यायपूर्वक कब्जा कर रखा है। भक्तवत्सल श्रीहरि ने आशीर्वाद देते हुए कहा, “दरबार! आप राजकोट के ब्रिटिश पोलिटिकल एजेंट को लिखित में अपनी याचिका प्रस्तुत कीजिए। हमारे आशीर्वाद से आपको आपका पूरा हक प्राप्त होगा और आपका परिवार समृद्ध होगा।” श्रीजी महाराज के दिव्य आशीर्वाद के प्रभाव से राजकोट अदालत से तुरंत आदेश हुआ और दरबार को उनकी संपूर्ण पैतृक भूमि का अधिकार वापस मिल गया, जिससे वे सांसारिक रूप से अत्यंत सुखी और संपन्न हो गए।

Laliyad’s Garasiya Darbar: Devotion to Sadhus and Shrihari’s Blessings
A traveling band of sadhus arrived in the village of Laliyad in the Chuda taluka for spiritual outreach. There were only a few devotees in the village. The sadhus delivered a morning spiritual discourse at the humble residence of a Garasiya Darbar devotee and prepared to depart for the neighboring village as the sun rose higher. The Darbar was a staunch devotee, but his household was severely impoverished. A desperate longing stirred in his soul: ‘Today, in this rare human existence, I have received the blessed opportunity to feed the holy saints of manifest Purushottam Narayan! If they depart without dining today, when will my soul ever obtain such a divine opportunity again?’ With folded hands and tears in his eyes, he pleaded, “O holy sadhus! Please grace our humble dwelling by accepting a meal today. Only when God-realized saints like you dine at our doorstep will our human life be sanctified!” Aware of his extreme financial hardship, the sadhus kindly replied, “Darbar, we are getting late today; whenever we visit next, we will certainly dine.” Hearing this, the Darbar broke down weeping inconsolably, devastated that poverty was depriving him of serving God’s saints. Seeing his genuine agony and unconditional love, the compassionate sadhus agreed to stay. Without letting the sadhus know, the Darbar quietly gathered the remaining brass utensils from his home and his wife’s spare traditional garments, rushed through the back alley to the village merchant’s shop, and pawned them. With the proceeds, he purchased pure ghee, jaggery, flour, and lentils. The sadhus lovingly prepared a sacred offering (thal) for Thakorji, partook of the sanctified food, and distributed prasad to all family members. After delivering uplifting discourses until noon, the sadhus departed.
A few days later, that village merchant happened to meet Shriji Maharaj and the sadhus. Filled with admiration, the merchant remarked, “Swaminarayan Maharaj! Your devotees possess extraordinary faith! The impoverished Garasiya Darbar of our village pawned his household utensils and his wife’s clothes at my shop just to feed your sadhus! He hasn’t been able to redeem them yet, yet his devotion remains as steadfast as ever.” Omniscient Shrihari was deeply moved by the selfless devotion of His humble devotee. He instructed the sadhus to exercise utmost discretion and consideration regarding the financial condition of householders. Then, compassionate Shrihari granted His divine darshan to the faithful Darbar and inquired about his livelihood. The Darbar revealed that his relatives had unlawfully seized his legitimate share of the ancestral land (garas). Shrihari blessed him warmly, saying, “Darbar! Submit a formal petition to the Political Agent in Rajkot. By Our divine blessings, you will reclaim your rightful estate and your family will prosper.” Empowered by Shrihari’s divine blessings, the legal ruling from Rajkot was issued in the Darbar’s favor without delay. His ancestral estate was restored in full, bringing lasting prosperity and happiness to his household.
