દુર્વાસા ઋષિ જેવું ભોજન અને લાડુબાની શંકાનું સમાધાન
એકવખત ગઢપુરમા શ્રીહરિ બીરાજતા હતા. તે લાડૂબા એ શ્રીહરિ ને પૃશ્ન પુછયો કે હે મહારાજ..! પુર્વે દુર્વાસા ઋષી ગોપીઓના થાળને જમી ગયા હતા, તે એકલા તે એમ કેમ કરીને જમાતુ હશે? ત્યારે શ્રીહરિ કહે કે મોટાની રીત મા આપડે શંકા ન કરવી, જે મોટા કરી શકે એ પામર જીવથી ન થાય એવી એની કૃીયા હોય. થોડેદિવસ એકદિવસ દરબારગઢમા સમૈયે આવેલા ત્રીહ મેમાન હતા. તે દિવસ લાડુબાએ શ્રીજીમહારાજ ને જમવા સારુ આમંત્રણ દીધું તો શ્રીજીમહારાજ કહે હાલ અમારે ત્રીહ મેમાન પણ છે તો અમે એકલા કેમ કરીને જમવા આવીએ. લાડુબા કહે ભલે મહારાજ..! તમે બધાય મેમાન સહિત જમવા પધારજો, અમે બધાય મેમાન ને તમ સારુ રસોઇ કરીશુ. લાડુબા એ તો ત્રીહ મેમાન ને મહારાજ સારુ કંસાર, શીરો, રોટલા, શાક વગેરે ની સરસ રસોઇ બનાવી. બપોરે જમવા ટાણે શ્રીજીમહારાજ એકલા જ આવ્યા ને ઓસરીયે પાટલે બેઠા. લાડુબા કેય મહારાજ મેમાન ક્યા છે..? મહારાજ કહે ઇ બધાય આવે છે તમે અમને પીરસો અમને ભૂખ લાગી છે. લાડુબા એ મહારાજ ને થાળ પીરસ્યો એટલે મહારાજ જમી ગયા. ફરીને પીરસ્યો એટલે એય જમી ગયા. આમ કરતા કરતા ત્રીસેય મેમાન ની રસોઇ મહારાજ એકલા જ જમી ગયા. પછે હાથ મોં ધોઇને આચમન લઇને લાડુબા સામું મંદ મંદ હસ્યા ને બોલ્યા કે લાડુબા..! હવે વિશ્વાસ આવ્યો કે દુર્વાસા ઋષી કેમ જમી ગયા હતા..? લાડુબા તો આ લીલા જોઇને હાથ જોડી ને બોલ્યા કે હે પ્રભુ..! તમે તો સાક્ષાત્ સર્વેશ્વર છો ને તમારા સારુ કાઇ અશક્ય નથી. પછે થોડીવારે પેલા ત્રીસ મેમાન આવ્યા એટલે લાડુબા એ ફરીને રસોઇ બનાવી ને સૌને જમાડ્યા.

दुर्वासा ऋषि जैसा भोजन और लाडूबा की शंका का समाधान
एक समय श्रीजी महाराज गढ़पुर में विराजमान थे। उस समय परम भक्त लाडूबा ने श्रीहरि से एक जिज्ञासा व्यक्त करते हुए पूछा, “हे महाराज! पूर्व काल में दुर्वासा ऋषि गोपियों द्वारा लाया गया संपूर्ण थाल अकेले ही आरोग गए थे; वह एक अकेले व्यक्ति द्वारा कैसे खाया जा सकता है?” तब श्रीहरि ने मर्म समझाते हुए कहा, “लाडूबा! महापुरुषों और ईश्वर के चरित्रों में हमें कभी शंका नहीं करनी चाहिए। जो सामर्थ्यवान महापुरुष कर सकते हैं, वह साधारण पामर जीवों की बुद्धि और शक्ति से परे होता है।”
कुछ दिनों बाद दरबारगढ़ में किसी समैया (उत्सव) के अवसर पर तीस अतिथि पधारे। उस दिन लाडूबा ने श्रीजी महाराज को भोजन करने हेतु सादर आमंत्रित किया। श्रीजी महाराज ने विनोदपूर्वक कहा, “इस समय हमारे साथ तीस अतिथि भी उपस्थित हैं; अतः हम अकेले कैसे भोजन करने आ सकते हैं?” लाडूबा बोलीं, “जैसी आपकी आज्ञा महाराज! आप उन सभी तीस अतिथियों को साथ लेकर भोजन करने पधारिए; हम आप सभी के लिए भरपूर रसोई तैयार करेंगे।” लाडूबा ने प्रेमपूर्वक शुद्ध घी का शीरा (हलवा), करारी रोटियाँ, स्वादिष्ट शाक, दाल-चावल आदि तीस-इकतीस व्यक्तियों के योग्य विशाल रसोई तैयार की।
दोपहर में जब भोजन का समय हुआ, तब श्रीजी महाराज अकेले ही ओसरी में पधारे और बाजोट पर विराजित हो गए। लाडूबा ने पूछा, “महाराज! अन्य अतिथि कहाँ हैं?” महाराज बोले, “वे सब अभी आते ही होंगे, तब तक आप हमें भोजन परोसिए; हमें बहुत तीव्र भूख लगी है।” लाडूबा ने महाराज को काँसे की थाली में गरमा-गरम शीरा, रोटियाँ और शाक परोसा। श्रीजी महाराज ने एक थाल आरोग लिया। फिर दूसरा परोसा, तो वह भी आरोग गए। इस प्रकार परोसते-परोसते श्रीहरि ने उन सभी तीस अतिथियों के लिए बनी संपूर्ण रसोई—शीरा, रोटियाँ, शाक और दाल-चावल—अकेले ही तृप्त होकर आरोग ली! भोजन के उपरांत हाथ-मुँह धोकर आचमन लेते हुए श्रीजी महाराज ने लाडूबा की ओर मंद-मंद मुस्कुराते हुए देखा और बोले, “लाडूबा! अब आपको विश्वास हुआ कि दुर्वासा ऋषि गोपियों का संपूर्ण थाल अकेले कैसे आरोग गए थे?” लाडूबा प्रभु की इस अलौकिक लीला को देखकर नतमस्तक हो गईं और हाथ जोड़कर बोलीं, “हे प्रभु! आप साक्षात् सर्वेश्वर, सर्वभोक्ता पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम नारायण हैं; आपके लिए कुछ भी असंभव नहीं है!” थोड़ी ही देर में वे तीस अतिथि भी भोजन हेतु आ पहुँचे। लाडूबा ने मुस्कुराते हुए पुनः नूतन थाल तैयार किया और सभी अतिथियों को प्रेम से जिमाया।

The Feat of Sage Durvasa and Resolving Laduba’s Doubt
Once, Shriji Maharaj was gracing Gadhpur. Devout Laduba asked Maharaj a sincere question: “O Maharaj! In ancient times, Sage Durvasa ate the entire lavish meal offered by the Gopis all by himself. How could a single individual consume so much food alone?” Shrihari replied with a gentle smile, “Laduba, one must never harbor doubt regarding the divine ways of exalted beings and God. What supreme beings can accomplish is far beyond the comprehension and physical limitations of ordinary mortals.”
A few days later, thirty guests arrived at the Darbargadh for a spiritual festival. That day, Laduba invited Shriji Maharaj to dine. Maharaj playfully remarked, “Presently, We have thirty guests with Us; how can We come to dine alone?” Laduba replied affectionately, “Very well, Maharaj! Please grace us along with all thirty guests; we will prepare a sumptuous meal for all of you.” Laduba lovingly cooked a large feast consisting of rich sheera (halwa), crisp bajra rotlas, vegetables, dal, and rice sufficient for over thirty people.
At lunch time, Shriji Maharaj arrived alone at the veranda and sat upon the wooden stool (bajoth). Laduba asked, “Maharaj! Where are the other guests?” Maharaj said, “They will be arriving shortly; meanwhile, please begin serving Us, as We are feeling intensely hungry.” Laduba served hot sheera, rotlas, and curries on a bronze plate. Shriji Maharaj finished the entire dish in moments. She served a second helping, and Maharaj consumed that too. Serving dish after dish, Shrihari miraculously ate the entire feast prepared for thirty-one people—all the sheera, bread, vegetables, and rice—relishing it alone! After finishing the meal and performing ceremonial rinsing (achaman), Shriji Maharaj looked at Laduba with a charming, knowing smile and asked, “Laduba! Do you now understand how Sage Durvasa was able to consume all the offerings of the Gopis single-handedly?” Beholding this divine spectacle, Laduba was overwhelmed with reverence. Folding her hands, she prayed, “O Lord! You are the supreme consumer of all offerings, the Almighty Purna Purushottam Narayan Himself; nothing in existence is beyond Your divine will!” Shortly afterward, the thirty guests arrived to dine. With joy in her heart, Laduba gladly prepared a fresh meal and lovingly fed all the guests.
